“Starbucks La Combre is a cozy tall seat cafe in Santa Barbara. The baristas are amazing and kind hearted and I had a great discussion with them while my coffee was prepared about the other services I heard about first time, so I am also giving a hint to your events!
This cafe has a lot of beautiful mugs for instance for parties and great coffees for events.
Believe me, people want to have coffee even after the dinner with the dessert. In the events where the event order hasn't contained coffee with dessert after the dinner has been improvising from something out of nothing so it is better to br prepared.
Starbucks coffee beans can be ordered in so called travelers boxes, where fresh brewed beans are delivered to events or even for an office for summer time picnic, get together, brainstorming event, private luxury buses with espresso machines etc., so your event team do not have to brew the coffee onsite.
People do love coffee and high quality coffee is indeed one of the high lights with any event dessert.
The mug prices pays itself back as the coffee when you "bring your own mug" has a discount for the coffee in most of the places.
With Love,
Joanna“
“Good lighting, lots of space, comfortable outdoor area. It’s exactly what you would expect from a chain coffee shop. Plenty of people quietly tapping away at laptops. The single stall bathrooms are clean and locked with a code. Years ago when this was a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf the Santa Barbara Go Club met here weekly. They may still do so.“
“I talk to strangers. These Starbucks patrons do not. Other than that and exactly zero smiles or anything that could be mistaken as friendly. Seems the just say
"Fish" corporate attitude is gone. Remember the Pikes Place Fish Market attitude of it is great to be alive, is fully missing here. But the tea was hot & they gave me plenty of sugars!“
“Re:3957 State Street location Just another corporate caffeine hole, with weird seating. No tables, but plenty of chairs — that all face the same direction ...??? ! Super strange. BUT ... and this is major—the seats have outlets!!!
Holy cow, a Starbucks with outlets. So rare, I hardly go to Starbucks for this reason.
Laptop batteries get old. And if you're a passionate writer, visual artist, blogger, or podcaster, or even a student with noisy roommates - we all need to get out for a cuppa, and to plug in after the old laptop battery drizzles away. Mine tanks after an hour. And when I'm traveling I need to stop for coffee ...
It drives me full on barmy when there's nothing but useless Starbucks around, with dumb hours, open when I'm sleeping, and closing before sunset. As I said, most Starbucks have gone downhill.
But not this nice little Starbucks tucked away in a shopping center with plenty of parking, nice barristas, and for the love of a great creative session... the working outlets. And they stay open somewhat later than bedtime for butterflies‐9pm most nights.
Glory hallelujah. An almost real coffee shop floats in Santa Barbara above a sea of vacuous corporate inanity that has pockmarked the coffee brewing landscape with cookie cutter nothing burgers that pose for legit coffee shops.
Super sweet.“
“Great coffee! However, the barista didn’t wash their hands before making my drink from being on their phone. They just wet their fingers for a second and put their hand on the sippy cup where I would be drinking from and ended up getting sick right after. Please wash hands fully with soap or at least wear gloves. ?“
“The best Starbuck in Santa Barbara.Everything went perfectly the several times I went to that shop. The order was taken without spelling my name and served quickly. The staff were very welcoming and so kind, and kept me coming back, with a special mention for Nick, the first member of staff I spoke to.I recommend this Starbuck's“
“Nice people behind the counter. The young lady helped me decide on another drink when the first one I wanted was only made cold. My coffee was made quickly. I stayed while and wrote postcards to my friends. Nice music over the airwaves to keep me relaxed. A peaceful atmosphere when you need little break from a busy day. I will return when I'm in the neighborhood.“
“A good-hearted team works really well together, and they pay attention to small details to show your care. Some of them are very sweet adding cute notes to your coffee to make your day goes better, and some of them are serious, but that does not anymean they are doing a magnificent job.
Kid-friendliness: Often, families and pets and they make everyone welcomed
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Starbucks is Starbucks. The place is definitely wants to go if you just wanna have a leisure time. I feel relaxed, sitting there watching people come and go. The only thing is the coffee like latte or cappuccino tastes like milk like elsewhere. I don’t know why , so the best choice is to go there and order a black coffee or iced coffee with a little bit sugar and milk. This will be my choice where ever in a Starbucks caffe“
“Going through the drive through is great, except when you have somebody in front of you that's not ready, then it could take longer than it should.
People with problem paying or questions should go inside, not hold up the drive through.“
“This is definitely a “local neighborhood” Starbucks, serving the Mesa. While this is not the most fancy Starbucks out there, I appreciate that the store is always clean and the service is always excellent. They always get my order correct, and I never have to wait longer than expected regardless of how busy it is. Of course, it’s Starbucks so taste and quality are consistent with other locations.
Parking: Free parking lot for shopping center patrons. Can be busy but you can usually find a spot pretty easily.“
