“8.1/10
Had the bbq burger with a brioche bun, onions, bacon, and cheese. Bun is nice and soft. Bacon doesn't have any crisp to it and a little chewy. The meat isn't anything spectacular. The texture of the fries is too soft for my liking but are decent.
Burgers are about $15 each and dont come with fries.
They claim to be the highest rated burger in California but I'm not sure about that hype. I'd rate it worse than Red Robin, Super Duper, and Shake Shack.
Overall not a bad burger spot. But it's not something worth going completely out of your way to try.“

“Came here on a trip to Great America as our pit stop / breakfast of the day. We randomly found this place online when looking for some where to eat. The restaurant is small, but it’s clean and the staff were friendly. It was slow and quiet when we came and our food came out pretty quick I would say. We all ordered different things and in general we enjoyed the food. I had gotten a country skillet that was potatoes, eggs, and country gravy. It was super filling! Other people in the group got French toast and a breakfast sandwich and they liked their choices. My coffee was ok, not very strong, and the hot chocolate also lacked flavor. If I was in the area I would come back and try some other things.“

“Sometimes they do not know how to properly construct a sandwich and instead of putting the spreader sauce on the bun they put it directly on the protein causing the sandwich to slide all over the place. How they present their sandwiches is inconsistent“

“First time trying Eureka even though it’s within walking distance from my place!
I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and was pleasantly surprised — the quality was definitely a notch above fast food chains like McDonald’s. The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and clearly made with better ingredients.
That said, it’s also more expensive — mine came out to around $20, which feels a bit steep for just a sandwich. But to be fair, you’re also paying for the ambiance, not just the food. The restaurant has a really nice, modern vibe that makes it feel more like a trendy, casual date spot rather than a grab-and-go place.
Unfortunately, I got my order to-go, so I didn’t really get to enjoy the dine-in experience — probably not the best decision. Next time I’ll definitely eat in and soak up the atmosphere.
Overall, solid food, great setting — not the cheapest, but worth it for a casual night out.“

“Been coming here since grad school in the early 2000s. Still good food after all these years. The nice owners work so hard to make delicious food. Too bad they no longer serve beer. Owner says SCU students got too rowdy with alcohol and causing trouble, so it’s not worth it to serve alcohol anymore. Thank the kids for ruining it for everyone.“

“We love Birk's - it has the best steak in the area. My favorite is the filet mignon, my husband loves the prime rib and my son loves the lamb chops. It is a great place for large parties and families, but as a consequence it can come off as crowded and noisy, so I would not go here for a romantic date. I love the creme brulee but the lava cakes were a bit cold.“
“Nice to hang out with my friends after a round of 9 holes. Good drinks and tasty food.“

“Great staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and quiet with nice balconies“
“Menu was modern and updated, like the surroundings light and airy. Wine selection was pretty darn good. Reservations for outdoors was not honored due to a private event taking over the patio, inside a table of 25 was seated in the middle of the booth seating, making conversation difficult by the end of dinner. Location makes it a good spot for team events, but if you aren't on that team event you might want to find another place to go. It made service slow, although the kitchen turned out delicious food.“

“This is the best dining option at California's Great America! With a wide variety of menu choices—from quinoa and beef burgers to chicken tenders and several types of pizza—plus sides like mac & cheese, seasonal vegetables, and more, it's the best value in the park. The condiment bar is well-stocked, and the staff is always friendly and efficient. The restaurant is well-organized, with consistently clean tables, though they can get packed during lunch and dinner rushes, so you might have to wait for a table. They sometimes run out of artisan sandwiches and desserts, and the quinoa burger takes a few extra minutes to cook but is worth the wait. Highly recommended!“

“Hidden spot with a variety of food for everyone. From Pizza to Mexican soups and traditional American breakfast, Last Chance Restaurant is worth stopping in for a bite. This table-service restaurant has four seating areas (outdoors included) a pool table, and beer bar. Again worth checking out, shout out to our server Isa for her great food recommendations. The sesame seed crust pizza was delicious!“
“Pretty average hotel. Giving it 4 stars given it included breakfast and happy hour. The bartenders and omlette maker were excellent and friendly. Other breakfast staff seemed less than thrilled to be there but overall went about their tasks and kept out of guests way. The rooms could definitely use some updating and the layout was quite awkward being right next to the stairwell. The room felt cramped and the bathroom small to maneuver in. Not sure if all rooms were that way but I'd suggest a different room. The hotel was reasonably close to some restaurants and easy enough to get around the area. Overall not a bad stay.“

“I decided to drop by and see what the place was about because there was a “dating coach” on YouTube that felt like she was above The Cheesecake Factory … After visiting here, I think that particular dating coach is a lunatic … I think this place is wonderful for casual meetings as well as serious dinner dates …“

“Enjoyed a wonderful meal at Gish. Dishes were beautiful, unique and delicious. Great service. Appreciated chef serving dishes and explaining what inspired creation of dishes. Had been there once before and will be back. Our guests are already planning on coming back in August.“
