“The BEST!!! I went for happy hour, and it was so worth it!!! On weekdays Mikiya has happy hour during lunch, and after 9pm. I can get 4 plates of high quality beef and unlimited vegetables!! The appetizer section has my fav clams and octopus. They also have good fruits and curry wagyu, and fresh squeezed orange juice. Highly highly recommend, everything is good quality good value“

“Sushi O Sushi is amazing!! We usually drop in for lunch and a couple times for dinner. We get the bento boxes with teryaki chicken, California rolls, and sashimi (tuna or salmon) the miso soup is great and the salad with that delicious dressing is perfect. I don't exactly need to worry about the bread getting soggy or have to ask to put the veggies separately. If this is your preference, this could be your next favorite sandwich shop. As for the drink, I wish it were stronger.Service & Cleanliness: Inside the store, it was tidied and not busy (at least on Friday at 4 p.m.). It is a nice place to purchase food to go quickly. They are available on Uber Eats; you can order by speaking with the cashier or using the iPad. The service was excellent, as they even offered to help, which was nice. “I was misled by this restaurant’s name for a long time—I always thought it was a Chinese restaurant. But when I finally came here, I realized it’s actually a Korean one. My husband used to come here often before the pandemic.

Their black bean noodles are delicious, but that’s not really what I want to talk about. What truly stands out isn’t just the food, but the service. In today’s Bay Area, especially among Asian restaurants, it’s rare to encounter genuine service. You often end up tipping for people who simply drop off your food and disappear.

But at Beijing Restaurant, you’ll understand what real service feels like—and you’ll be happy to tip for it. Their servers focus on actually taking care of your needs during the meal, without being intrusive or using those overly scripted lines like, “How’s everything tasting so far?” that interrupt your dining experience. Their Mexican waiter is neat, attentive, and makes you feel genuinely comfortable. The female server, who has apparently been working here since before the pandemic, adds to that sense of familiarity and warmth.
