“My fiancé and I came to visit this winery with Ellie as our guide to show us what the winery has to offer for a wedding. The views are amazing and the landscape is incredible. Ellie was very descriptive on what we can do and what others have done for previous weddings. Ellie showed us pictures of previous weddings that were held and presented how the winery looks in different seasons. My fiancé and I really enjoyed our experience there and can’t wait to host our wedding thanks to Ellie!“
“Volcan mountain winery has the best wines, nothing compares to their wine or their hospitality. Mel is the best!“
“A must visit for good quality wine lovers. Specifically enjoyed their estate Syrah, Petite Sirah and Cabernet. We recently came across this place by pure chance on a trip to the area and ended up staying for several hours enjoying the wine and company of Beth the owner and friends. Leaving with a full case of wine. We had the perfect wine tasting experience in their rustic 'shackteau' overlooking the rolling hills and vines. A prime example that good quality wines are made with passion in the vineyards, and not in the large estates with all their added fuss.“
“This was a wonderful place to visit. The owner, retired British chemist. John Saunders, is a very pleasant host. He will tell you everything you want to know about his wine making process. He uses at least eight different Italian grapes which I counted. A few of the wines were a little too dry for our taste, but the BPx and the newly minted Barbera were excellent. The view is spectacular as well. Best value tasting out there for sure.“
“Great flatbreads, refreshing wines. Impressive views! We'll be back.“
“Great experience to see a vineyard and winery, taste their great wines, and you can even help on the harvest during September. The vines are labeled so, you can see the different types of grapes and vines. For food, they only have a baked cheese, olives and cracker platter.“
“Arrived just after they locked up. And they were kind enough to unlock and pour me a glass of petit Syrah. Which is just as bold and dry as promised (and the clear lavender tones are a surprise and a delight). I almost missed stopping here. Don’t. Perfect end to a perfect day.“
“Had a great time! Delicious wine, beautiful scenery, lots of stuff to do. The staff are super friendly and knowledgable. There’s a bunch of old farm equipment to see, a friendly horse, an adorable little dog…it was all so relaxing. If you’re in the area make sure to check them out!“

“Learn! Taste! Enjoy! THANK YOU PAUL. Making some great wine. The WHITE Zinfandel was extra special. The personal 1 on 1 tour of the winemaking setup and cellar wih Paul was very unique. The extra care results in some GREAT wine. I learned a lot. Next time I might just bring the wife, a lunch (loaf of bread from Dudleys?) and relax with a glass of the 2019 Vin de Paul outside overlooking the Vinyard and maybe see the (50+?) wild turkey flock again! Gotta make a reservation (easy) but there are NO (Temecula type) Crowds! Did I mention Enjoy?“
