“Our wedding in June 2026 will be at Milagro and my fiancée and I are very excited! It is a beautiful venue and the people at Milagro are so helpful. When we did our first tour with Milagro, we knew right away this was the venue we wanted for our wedding. There is so much open space and so many little areas that make this place unique. It’s also very nice that they have a large lake house you can rent for getting ready the day of.“
“Volcan mountain winery has the best wines, nothing compares to their wine or their hospitality. Mel is the best!“
“This was a wonderful place to visit. The owner, retired British chemist. John Saunders, is a very pleasant host. He will tell you everything you want to know about his wine making process. He uses at least eight different Italian grapes which I counted. A few of the wines were a little too dry for our taste, but the BPx and the newly minted Barbera were excellent. The view is spectacular as well. Best value tasting out there for sure.“
“We had an absolutely exceptional experience today at Edwards Winery. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into something truly special.
A heartfelt thank you to Beth, the owner, who made our visit unforgettable. Her depth of knowledge, passion for winemaking, and genuine warmth elevated the entire experience. It’s rare to meet someone who not only creates outstanding wines but also shares them with such grace and authenticity. Alit of history as well!
The wines themselves are simply outstanding—beautifully crafted, expressive, and memorable. Every pour felt thoughtfully curated, and you can truly taste the care and expertise in each glass.
Beyond the wine, the atmosphere is intimate, welcoming, and refined, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy great company.
This is not just a winery—it’s an experience. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something truly special in Ramona.“
“Partner and I stopped by for a flight tasting and had an excellent experience. The couple running the winery are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. We particularly enjoyed the Syrah it’s definitely worth a try. The surrounding area is also very fun to explore. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re nearby.“
“Had a great time! Delicious wine, beautiful scenery, lots of stuff to do. The staff are super friendly and knowledgable. There’s a bunch of old farm equipment to see, a friendly horse, an adorable little dog…it was all so relaxing. If you’re in the area make sure to check them out!“

“A Mesa Grande gem! We came across the Walnut Tree Ranch winery by chance as there aren't many wineries in this area. Right upon arrival to the wonderful setting, Paul greeted us and gave us a long passionate and informative tour of the winery with demonstration of the equipment and explanation of all ins and outs of winemaking. The tour itself would be a great fun but then the actual tasting followed and we were blown away by the quality of the estate wines. All Sangiovese we tasted (2016, 2018, and 2021) were outstanding and Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 was excellent. We haven't tried Zinfandel (well, there's always the next time) Rose and white wine were also great. The limited blending Paul does on some wines was IMHO just superb. We can't consider ourselves as true wine connoisseurs but we have been visiting the local San Diego county wineries for a while now and I can honestly put Paul's estate wines in the top 5% of the ones we tried. Tasting is by appointment and you can book the time slot on the winery website or by using a button in Google.“
