“Din Tai Fung is a top contender for my favorite Chinese restaurant. Their Hot & Sour Soup and Crab & Pork Xiao Long Bao are absolute must-tries. These perfectly formed soup dumplings are a burst of flavor in every bite!Today, I ventured beyond my usual favorites and tried the Cod Dumpling and Vegetable & Pork Wonton Soup. Both were delicious, but they didn't quite reach the same level of wow-factor as my usual picks.Pro tip: To avoid a wait, consider reserving a table in advance. They also have bar seating for a more casual option during off-peak hours.Overall, Din Tai Fung is a fantastic restaurant with consistently delicious food. Love it!“

“Love their noodles - all 3 types are chewy and delicious! I am a non-spicy eater and appreciate I can get lots of flavor and it isn’t lost with the non-spicy option. I enjoy both the regular soup as well as the tomato one!We also like their appetizer plates where we can pick our favorites… and the fried pork too!“

“We tried the A2 Taiwanese chicken cutlet and A3 basil popcorn chicken. Both hit the spot and had a delightfully crunchy exterior which contrasted the flavorful, juicy chicken inside. I've been missing Taiwan and this fulfilled my craving for street food. I thought $12.28 was a bit pricey for the chicken cutlet, but they have large portions and cut it up in a box for you so it's easy to eat. I'll definitely be back for more.“

The conscientious preparation of each meal is evident, reflecting a philosophy that marries taste with nutritional benevolence.“

“I got the XXL chicken thighs, and I feel like they give you a lot for the price! Really well-seasoned chicken as well. Also they either misheard my drink order or I might have pronounced it wrong, but they were so quick to fix it for me. Great service overall!“

“Love the traditional Taiwan Porridge with variety of dishes to choose from. Lunch special set can be 3 or 4 dishes. They offer prepared dishes and made to order dishes too. Great taste but eating environment is pretty dated.Meat ball, spicy pork blood and tofu, peanut with anchovy, pork tongue. All these are my favorite.“

“Red Hot Wok offers a fiery dining experience with lightning-fast service. The restaurant buzzes with energy and the food arrives nice and hot.The flavors are enticing enough to warrant repeat visits. Whether you want a dish that is sweet, spicy, savory, vegetarian, or something new, this menu has something for you.The only downside is the slightly small space, but I would say it adds to the atmosphere. Worth the visit if you are in the area!“

“I got the Kumquat Lemon tea 70% sweet, and it was very refreshing! We sat outside in front of the shop and enjoyed the nice weather. You can either order online by scanning a QR code or order at the kiosk. Very convenient if there is a long line.“

“Great Taiwanese dim sum location, very delicious.Beef noodle soup ? - the handmade noodles were bouncy (in a good way) and the meat was tender. I liked the bits of tendon on the end.The XLB (A1 and A13) were great.Fairly large seating area, a variety of table sizes. I prefer the tables since the booths didn't look very comfortable. It was like sitting against the wall at 90 degrees (tho not everyone leans back).“
“Take it from a Hong Kong kid...these are seriously legit zongzi that taste just like the cantonese ones I grew up with. Definitely above your typical market rates, but I promise these will be true to the OG flavors. It's mostly a food pick-up type of service where you walk up to a shared space and ring a doorbell to have an aunty bring out your stuff.Online ordering was how I did it, but you can also call/text an order over the phone. The ordering process is a bit unusual in that you have to plan these ahead of time (by about 3-days or so depending on time of week) then wait for a confirmation text on the day of. Unfortunately, impromptu cravings must likely be held at bay. Sometimes you can short-notice stuff if they have leftovers, but that's defintely a gamble. With either planning or luck, you'll then walk off with a hefty bag of deliciousness. You can have the option of getting them freshly cooked or frozen (for stocking up).The zongzi are well packaged and tightly wrapped with color-codings to the string to separate the fillings from each other. It's a bit cryptic, but you'll notice those correspond with the pictures on their ordering site. Descriptions of the fillings are true to their amount and pretty well packed with goodness (none of the mostly-rice-zongzi here). After cracking the first one open and taking my first bite, it was like that Ratatouille moment with Anton having flashbacks to his childhood (but like the Chinese version). Filled with delicious aromas and rich succulent glory, with not a dry spot in (culinary) sight. If that hasn't convinced you to at least try these buggers, I'm not sure what will!“

“Brought my cousin visiting from Taiwanese here and she gives the Taiwanese stamp of approval! Also brought my Taiwanese parents here and they liked it a lot and said they’d want to come back again! The wonton noodle soup is really good. The soup has lots of fried shallots and thin celery, which makes the soup super aromatic! Servers are kind, service is fast.“

“The absolute best Taiwanese bento spot in the area, probably in the entire Bay Area. Their prices are reasonable, there are several protein options, and most of all, the sides are plentiful/tasty/home-cooked like. If you opt out of the protein, you can get an extra side instead. Very friendly service as well. Highly recommend.“

“The soups here are high quality! The milk cream curry is my favorite pot to get. It has great toppings and a rich broth, topped with cream. The flavor of the curry is very fragrant as well. The ingredients are fresh and the pot is filled to the brim. If you go during lunch, they also give complimentary iced tea, which is very refreshing. The shop is small and can get quite busy. Overall, very great food! I also really enjoy the digestive jellies they give at the end of the meal.“

“3.5 STARS Date: Saturday, April 6th, 2024 Time: 3pm Meal: Birthday Late Lunch / Early Dinner Part of: 6 Reservation Made: via Yelp about 1.5 weeks earlier Dinner BBQ & Hot Pot ($37.99) x6 *Japanese Miso *Healthy Herb x2 *Thai Pot: Vegan Spicy x3 *Pork Belly x2 *Ribeye x4 *Spicy Pork Belly *Pork Belly x2 *Pork Jowl x2 *Garlic Shrimp x2 *Galbi Marinated Short Rib x6 *Seapot Angus Beef x2 *Beef Tongue *Steam Rice x3 *J Lohr Cabernet 2019: 375ml ($23) *Sapporo Pitcher ($25) *Original Bottle Soju ($13) *Peach Bottle Soju ($13) *18% Tip ($54.35) For a friend's bday, we decided to do a late lunch at Seapot. I believe on weekends they are open all day and the dinner price applies all day as well. Tip was automatically added to the bill, but I think that was because we were a party of 6? I do adore Seapot for their conveyor belt offerings. I tend to like variety. And I gravitate towards a lot of veggies and seafood. So it's nice they are readily avail in small portions. I don't feel like I have to eat a portion of veggies for the whole table if no one else wants some. Also, super convenient since we don't have to wait for the server to bring those items out. Meat wise (and some seafood), you have to order thru the server. And there's a time limit of 90 mins. Unfortunately this took a while, so we were only able to order one round before the server came back for last call. For bigger parties, they should give two hours as that's not enough time to cook and eat everything. (We still had uncooked plates when they came back for last call.) There's only one grill at a table for 6. It's definitely not enough time to get your korean bbq on. For an AYCE place, this was one of the first times I didn't really leave full. Drinks wise, we had a red wine drinker, so we tried to order a bottle of red wine. The first bottle, they were out, so I asked about two other bottles. They were out of those too. He could only offer a bottle we didn't want, so we ended up with a half bottle of something we originally asked about. Corkage here is $25, while the average bottle was around $40-$50, so it didn't seem worth it to cork anything. I think if we had a smaller party, it would have been fine. But for a larger party, I don't think it's worth coming here. The time limit isn't really enough to take advantage of the AYCE.“

“This place had braised pork belly so good... this dish usually we vietnamese cook at home, but now u can find it here... the pork belly was so tender, soft n flavorful... i used to come here when they jus started open back in the days, the flavor and everything is the same, stil delicious, but the price go up on every item.... Love their pork belly, beef stew was one of my favorite, the chicken quarter, the popcorn chicken for snack, and drink i always go with super fruit tea, so refreshing... always come here for lunch or dinner when im in Santa Clara area...“
“Stopped by to try their bento and drink. I ordered the ground pork bento and red bean slushy with 0% sugar. The red bean slushy reminded me of the red bean ice bar I used to get as a kid and 0% was a good amount of sweetness for my liking. I highly recommend the red bean slushy!! Super good.“

“I'm torn on giving this place a 5 instead of 4 stars, only because the food is pricey. Neither the food nor ambience is "fancy," but nevertheless they provide a good meal. I would be much more of a regular here if the prices for meals and especially appetizers were a bit lower. The reason I decided on 5 stars is because I simply like the food. No other Taiwanese food I've found in the area packs their food with this much flavor. The service is good, but the food can take a bit of time to come out. I don't mind waiting here whether it's to sit down or get my food, but it is something to keep in mind. My two favorite dishes here are The Works (noodles) and the Fatty Red Fried Pork Rice Plate. Yes, the macros are not amazing but the taste is superb. The Works have the perfect amount of umami nuttiness while the fatty red fried pork has the ideal crispiness of fried pork but also an added sort of rich flavor (maybe from wine or some sort of fragrant marinade). My mouth salivates as I reminisce on these dishes.“

“Such yummy hearty food I think it's a bit on the higher end for price but it's definitely quality food. I've been here before but this time I came with a larger group of around 7 people. They accommodated us by combining tables together. The servers were super nice and checked up on us often. I got the lamb pot and it was so good. Also since we went over 45 bucks on our table we got a complimentary calamari appetizer. So good!“

“After running errands all Saturday morning, I wanted to sit down and enjoy a nice lunch. We stopped in Taiwan and it was fabulous. As soon as we walked in we were seated and service was amazing. Lunch was not pricey and it included, soup, salad entree and tons of rice. I even got to take some home. Before we even decided on our entree, waitress asked what type of soup we wanted, Service was great and food was hot and enjoyable. I was surprised to not see the big elaborate flower decor, but understandable. Very clean and organized. Highly recommend.“

“My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag of flavors. The scallion pancake was decent, but the crust was a tad too thick for my liking. Similarly, the pineapple deep-fried shrimp was alright, but the thick crust left me tasting more flour than shrimp. However, the standout dish was undeniably the braised beef noodle. It was simply amazing—tasty, rich, and the noodles were just perfect. If you’re a noodle lover like me, you’ll definitely want to try it out! Overall, while there were some hits and misses, the braised beef noodle made the visit worthwhile.“

“Hole in the wall corner shop that serves amazing comfort lunch! The chicken katsu was super crispy and juicy and didn't taste "processed." The fried pork cutlet was flavorful, not too oily, and juicy as well. I thought it would have been a bit more crispy but I guess that's because it wasn't deep fried, but it was still great. I loved this one and the fish cake that came with it! While the bentos may look small, it's so filling. You get a bit of everything - carbs, protein, appetizer and a little sweet something. Everything is made to order so the wait for the orders may or may not come out fast depending what you order and who is in front of you.“

“The main star of this place is the grilled G-pie. Contrary to what it sounds like it is actually fried and then grilled while they slather it with their special, slightly spicy BBQ sauce. This is actually hard to find elsewhere if you didn't know. The other bento I recommend is the fried squid. The price of the bentos is very affordable while the appetizers, on the other hand, are not. Particularly the mushroom skewers. The taro balls with the golden egg yolk inside is my favorite of the snacks. The drinks are decently priced and I do find some of them most refreshing with the fried stuff.“

“We came here on a Saturday night around 6 pm. There was no wait, but when we left there was a line outside the door. We ordered the House special and Lazy Guy. I liked the House Special better, because there was no pig intestine. We also ordered the fish soup with pickled mustard greens and the si gua with salted egg. One small of the dry pot can feed two people. Portions are big here. I want to try their stinky tofu and crawfish next time!“

“Tea Era has been one of my favorite tea places to visit for a long time. Today, I ordered the Organic Tofu pudding with red beans and also Brown sugar shaved ice with few toppings. “I was here for a quick lunch as I had a meeting to return to. It's a nice and cozy place. There's a QR code menu from which I ordered black pepper beef with rice and my friend ordered duck rice. We ordered the honey dew drink. The service is great and pretty fast. They have an outside sitting as well. They opened at 11:30 am and we reached just five after. The food was so delicious, I will highly recommend you to try black pepper beef rice. I really enjoyed my lunch and yes they take“

“They have lots of different options. For milk tea, my favorite is the Mango milk tea with boba. They also have the Icy, like a slushy. The mango is also great.Food wise, they don’t have lots of vegetarian options but everything else is great. You can order on Uber eats or in store, or you can call them. They are very fast. For the drinks you can ask for them to be caffeine free.Vegetarian options: Not too many vegetarian food options but the drinks are all vegetarian.Kid-friendliness: They are very kid-friendly. Lots of kids from schools nearby come.“
