“Just had a dish of soybean seedling and it was surprisingly good! They had a perfect little crunch on the outside but stayed tender inside. The seasoning was spot-on—a nice savory, garlicky flavor with a hint of spice. It's a great simple side dish, super healthy-tasting, and feels light even when ate lots meats.“

“Have lunch with a friend at this restaurant based on a recommendation. The portions of the food are quite good but there is no Wow factor in the taste. Also, note that the mild spicy level of the food may still be a bit too strong for those who are not used to having spicy food. However, as the price of the food is reasonable, this restaurant is definitely worth coming again to explore the other dishes on its menu.“

“Came with my gf for a cozy Sunday lunch. The place is not that crowded. We have the lamp hotpot and the duck. Waiters are friendly and the food is good. We didn't ask for any rice and they suggest to add less salt in the pot. Would definitely come back next time when around.“

“Feels like home!
We ordered
- dan dan noodle
- the egg fried toona sinensis
- stir fried shradde cabbage
- seasoned beef shank
- pork spareribs with house special sauce
We really like the Dan Dan noodle, cabbage and egg fried; the appetizer beef shank and spareribs taste good too they rank below the other three 😘“

“We had the kung pao VG chicken and orange peel VG steak. Both items were great - special mention for the latter! Been here a few times over the years and been generally happy with the food. The service was the fastest I can remember in a long time. The interiors were quite cozy without being fancy, and the soft music in the background made for a friendly, easygoing vibe that you'd hope for from a business in your neighborhood.“

“Hands down some of the best Sichuan Roasted Fish I’ve had. The fish is perfectly tender, soaked in a rich, numbing broth that packs a serious punch. I loved the variety of toppings—the cauliflower and bamboo shoots are flavor sponges. Large portions make it perfect for sharing.“

“Buns we're pretty good and really affordable. My big complaint is that the bus cart they push around every 5 minutes sounds like nails on a chalk board. Makes my skin crawl its so loud. You guys should get a can of WD-40 and lube the wheels on it.“

“I tried Seasons Noodle and Dumpling Garden, and this place definitely surprised me in a good way.
I’m not usually a noodle person. What I know about noodles is either the wok style ones I used to eat back home in Egypt or simple instant noodles at home. That said, this spot changed my perspective. The noodles here are handmade right in front of you, and you can really taste the difference. Fresh, well-textured, and done properly.
The place is very busy, which is usually a good sign, and overall the service moves fast. If you order a broth based noodle dish, it comes out quickly and is served hot, which is great. The issue comes when one person orders broth noodles and the other orders a non broth dish. Those take noticeably longer, and by the time they arrive, the broth dish is already cooling down. That takes away from the experience when you’re eating together.
Because of that timing gap, I’m taking one star off. The food quality is strong, and the handmade noodles are the highlight, but better coordination between dishes would really improve the experience.
Still, if you’re into fresh, handmade noodles, this place is worth trying. Just keep the order timing in mind.“

“Glad to find an authentic Szechuan/Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood. It's not a fancy restaurant but the food is delicious. We ordered fish filet with golden soup, mapo tofu with pork intestine, sizzling squid, and sesame balls. All are good except the sizzling squid was not sizzling in hot plate and the squid looks very different from the photo on the menu. The owner told us that the menu was misprinted with picture of squid legs (they serve the body part). Maybe they should cross out that picture so there won't be disappointment due to wrong expectation. Other than that, the restroom is clean but needs some update. All in all, we enjoyed the food and will definitely come back again.“

“Tried Ox 9 Lanzhou Handpulled Noodles and honestly… solid spot. The thin noodles surprised me super chewy with great strength even though they’re thin. Respect to the noodle puller because that texture was on point.
The soup was flavorful and came with that classic Lanzhou level grease, which sounds intense but actually keeps the broth hot and satisfying. Spice level was perfectly balanced not trying to end your day, but just enough to wake up your taste buds.
Also tried the thick noodles from the chili oil bowl strong, super chewy, and full of character. Basically the noodle equivalent of someone who works out legs every day.
Overall, this place is a legit hand-pulled noodle fix. Great texture, great flavor, great heat. Definitely coming back whenever that Lanzhou noodle craving hits.“

“Amazing food! Great service.
Got the lamb wrap and my partner got the mapo tofu combo with chow mein. Delicious and filling, served hot. Great alternative to waiting in long lines for the other restaurants around the corner.
Staff extremely kind and helpful!
Portions are huge, 1 dish per person more than enough for most.“

“Authentic rice noodle, yummy flavor, I can tell the soup are made in house from scratch, not like a lot of restaurants these days with pre-made packages. high quality food with good quantity , Friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommend. Well

“This has become my favourite place for noodles and dumplings! Their noodle quality is fantastic - very much like hand-pulled noodles, they have that beautiful lightly chewy texture and the flavour of their sauces are good too.
Xiaolongbao are good quality as are the wonton in chili oil, but my favourite is the beef noodles, they make the best lunch or dinner.
Prices are great for the quality you get - if you're hungry, check the portion sizes because they're on the smaller end compared to what you might expect from westernised places, but for me this makes it super easy to have a few dishes to try at a time!
I will be a regular here 😁“

“A good Chinese restaurant with above average food. We tried the cabbage and pork boiled dumplings, the steamed pork soup dumplings, and the pan fried pork soup dumplings. The pan fried soup dumplings were the best – good flavor, crispy bottoms, and juicy soup inside. The boiled dumplings were only okay. I thought the pork filling for the boiled dumplings was a bit musky, and I found a piece of gristle in one dumpling. The steamed pork soup dumplings could have used more soup but were otherwise fine. We also ordered a side of cucumber salad, which was decent overall but a bit salty and garlicky. The service was brisk and professional. They brought us rice for no extra charge – a nice touch. We thought the atmosphere was pleasant overall, with warm lights and plants.“

“This is one of my favorite places to go for a hearty braised meat meal. Every dish is cooked to perfection and the flavors are interesting and remain authentic. Today we got the braised pork rib which were tender, juicy, and flavorful, and the duck gizzard which was very tasty. Highly recommend this place!“

“SUPER-delicious food, but waitstaff is clearly overwhelmed.
My friend and | shared four plates (hey, we were hungry!)
- String Beans with Garlic: cooked and seasoned perfectly!
- Pork Xiao Long Bao: also delicious!
- Shrimp, Pork w.Chives Dumpling
- and Shanghai Style Pan Fried Juice Pork Buns, probably our
favorite given the varied texture and - as with everything else-
awesome flavor l
We arrived at 5:30pm before the place was too busy, but it was soon hopping! And we didn't see very much of our server, so it was sometimes difficult to get her attention to order more or bring us the check. So I do feel it'd be lovely to have a bit more attentive and friendly service. That aside, I'm sure I'll be back to get more of this deliciousness!“

“The amount of love my family, I, and all the customers receive whenever we walk into P.F. Chang’s in Sunnyvale is truly unbelievable.
The management and staff are incredibly professional and welcoming, and they always treat you as if you’re the only table in the restaurant—even when they're busy and the restaurant is packed.
Their genuine kindness means the world to us and always makes our day.
I’d also like to recognize a few team members who have made our visits especially memorable. I apologize in advance if I’ve forgotten to mention everyone by name, but please know that we truly appreciate the entire team and everything they do!!
Big shout out of appreciation to: Neby, Julia, Randy, Felipe, Kristen, Sergio and everyone else!“

“We got the nanjing roasted duck and beef noodle soup here, and they were both very delicious! I would definitely come back here again. The roast duck was cut well, and its skin was very crispy. The sauce was special and complemented the duck well. I can see why this was highly recommended here. As for the beef noodle soup, it was on the sweeter side, and the beef tasted like it was red braised. If we get the same next time, we definitely need to get some plain rice to balance the saltiness and sweetness.“

“For the first time, surprised to discover that there’s such a delicious Chinese restaurant in South San Jose. I ordered two dishes: one salt and pepper fish fillet, and one dry-fried beef chow fun. It was really so delicious! I truly love this Big Fish Restaurant! I must come here often!“

“We love how fresh these buns are manually made. They are delicious with a few different interesting flavors. The spicy mince pork and tofu buns are our favorite. It still tastes good the day after. It may seem pricy, but the portion of each order is large, so it's totally worth the money. Only gets 4 stars from me because the frozen wonton have so little meat. They tasted great though, but not much filling at all. Generally, we're happy with the food and the super fast service. Definitely come back for more bao buns, but probably not the wonton.“

“***USP: one of the still around, old time American Chinese restaurant. There is this interesting documentary on YouTube which explains how American Chinese cuisine was born and how these restaurants spread throughout the US. All these restaurants have a similar menu as well by design. With the influx of the more authentic Chinese cuisine restaurants, these old time American Chinese restaurants atleast in the bayarea have dwindled significantly so I was excited to find one close by.
***AMBIANCE: place is definitely old but well maintained. They have a large fish tank upfront which has a single large lonely fish. We went on V day and the old lady, who I assume is also one of the owners, was the only one at the restaurant. She had neatly folded napkins in the shape of a heart at all the tables.
****FOOD: prices have increased across most restaurants in the bay and this place seems to be no different. The quantities are definitely on the lower side as well.
We got some beans, chicken and fried rice. Every dish hit the spot. The fried rice was especially comforting, it was moist and umami rich. The green beans were pretty delectable as well. They ticked the boxes on everything you would expect from American Chinese food.
Some other customers who seemed to be old timers walked in. They mentioned they came in specifically for the lemon chicken. Looks like the place is still running due to some long time loyal customers like them.“

“3.5/5.
Average neighborhood Mongolian grill. If you want Mongolian grill food it would work for you. If you have shellfish allergies, or maybe any food allergy, I would avoid this place. They cook by dragging the food around the grill once per person instead of a space they clean like the larger grills will do. They just place the next bowl immediately after and drag it around across the previous persons stuff. I was eating shrimp and I eat spicy, so for me it wasn't an issue. Sucks for the person following me, and sucked for my son (9) as he followed a spice lover and his dish ended up too spicy for him to enjoy. He was pretty disappointed.“

“The soap was very tasty, it had a lot of flavor and wasn't too salty. The noodles were great as well, they were long and chewy. There was also a good amount of meat and vegs as well. One bowl of soap coated me around 20 dollars before tip and they only took cash.“

“We enjoy our meals at Human impression. It's a bit on the expensive side but the food is delicious. It does have wait time up to 15-30 min but it's worth the wait. Staff is very friendly even for non-native speakers. Highly recommend if you're willing to wait!“

“This is a solid dim sum place with good food overall. Prices were fair, except for the pan fried bao with translucent skins, which were way overpriced. We enjoyed the shrimp chang fen and the Chinese broccoli. The har gow had nice chewy skins, but the filling inside was only so-so. I was not a huge fan of the sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves because the filling was made with ground meat instead of whole pieces. The staff were efficient and friendly. We enjoyed choosing our food from the roving dim sum carts. I ordered shou mei tea, which tasted fine.“
