New American Restaurants near Scotts Valley, CA

“We sat outside pretty promptly- food was ordered and delivered- with a little errors but corrected. The server didn’t check on us once after food was delivered to see how the food was or to refill water or any other beverages. The girl who was the food runner was amazing because she corrected the issues with the server- beautiful blonde with pigtails. We ordered a lot of food and overall food was a hit.

Regular fries - yum (can’t go wrong if you like fries)
Garlic fries- yum (most flavor- if you like garlic these are a must)
Sweet potato fries- yum (most crispy out of all 3) if you are trying a healthier version- pass and go for a salad-

Side salad- nice size and yummy

Pretzel- huge- warm- delicious- the table winner amongst everyone.

Brussel sprouts- too oily for my liking- has a little spice/flavor nice to have a veggie, but again if you are trying to be healthier- all that oil- better to have a side salad

Most people order burgers- all were cooked well and tasted good- the buns for the bread were great.

I had portobello mushroom sandwich - the sandwich was drenched with a mayonnaise type sauce- I could pass on that, and ask for open face next time and sauce on the side so I can control the amount. (Just because restaurant meals end up being 1200-1400 calories otherwise)

Overall I would recommend eating here. It’s family friendly and the food is tasty.

We just had a server that had his friends visiting and he was hanging out with them. This could have been a one off scenario. Not enough for me not to say
Don’t come back- but just be aware. Chill environment.

“I can’t say enough good things about Brad, Linda, and staff. They are wonderful to be around and everyone really cares about the food. There is something on the menu for the vast majority of eaters. The garden on site is walkable and absolutely gorgeous. For food: beef cheeks, fried chicken, and any pasta you care for. Wine: a broad selection of interesting bottles Non-alcoholic: lemonade 😋“

“We were a group of 8 that arrived early. Thankfully, we were seated in the bar area where we had cocktails and then sat at a nice, somewhat secluded table for dinner. The crab cakes appetizer was fabulous, the bread with oil & vinegar was great, along with our meals. Thank you so much for the friendly atmosphere. The only downside was the parking as we had to park across the street as there were other other private business signs. We will visit again. (Someone responded by saying this comment violates the rules? I left the restaurant 5 🌟 🤩 stars. The parking is a legitimate complaint.) Is someone just being stinky?“

“Every time I go, spot in with the food. This is what I look for in a restaurant. Think out of the box menu with consistency every time I go with every item I order. I keep working down the menu to try everything. They obviously make their own sauce, the ranch, super bomb diggity. Fries, onion rings, salad all fresh and crisp. Mac and Gouda cheese bites, Yes! Chop cheese, you gotta have one of these! Mushroom cap “burger “ something you will crave, Parish pie, goodness wrapped up in one dish. Salmon fish & chips, fantastic. And I forgot to mention beer, beer, beer, they also have beer and mixed drinks. There is always specials on the screens. Last time I noticed something about tenderloin and bacon …… can’t wait to go back and find out!“

“Visiting SC from Michigan and came across Suda. Glad we did. Looked like it had a good vibe from the outside so we went in and sat at the bar where we had drinks. What fun! The bartender, Max, was slammed but never stopped smiling. We had fun watching him and talking with him. He knows his drinks! So much fun we came back for dinner another night. Max came over to our table to welcome us back! The drinks and food were really good! We’ll definitely be back next visit to SC. Hopefully, Max, will be there too!“

Great room, a calming environment, exercise facility, spa, pool, hot tub, walking trails, Pickle ball and bocce ball courts, a lovely view of the city of Santa Cruz below. It was very enjoyable and only a 2 hour drive from the Bay Area. They also allow pets on the property so you can bring your furry family members if you like.“
