“Moobongri is a traditional authentic Korean restaurant specializing soondae ( blood sausage)!

We ordered:
- seafood pancake
- ox bone soup with glass noodle ( recommend )
-soondae soup ( recommend )
- spicy pork neck bone soup ( recommend )
- beef rib soup with glass noodle

I love how the soup also comes with rice, and some with glass noodle, very comforting food.

“First time here. Ordered a chicken ramen noodles and a passion fruit drink.
When we first walked in, the line was extremely long. We thought we would wait for an hour. However, there, you order and pay first and seat yourself. The service is pretty quicc. We ordered within 15 min of arriving. As soon as we ordered, we found seats. Within 10 min of sitting, we received our order.
Pretty nice atmosphere.

Vegetarian options: My brother is vegetarian. He had a vegetarian ramen noodles nd white rice.“

“Tang in Buena Park is a gem for delicious Korean comfort food. Their soups and stews arrive piping hot with rich and authentic flavors. The portions are generous, and every dish feels like home-cooked (just a little more intense flavor). The signature soups are very good. They also wrap the large mandu in house and give very generous filling. Server can speak Korean, English and Chinese!“

We were lucky to try a free sample of his Wonton as they sold out of it.
The Green Thai Tea was refreshing as well! My kids can't wait to come back to eat everything again!

Next time, I will try the Banh Canh Noodle Soup, I saw someone ordered it and the seafood were all individually packed for freshness!

“Food was good. It is the usual traditional broths and dishes (beef or pork). Pairs well with soju. Felt like a Korean restaurant with a 2k-ish vibe. I would prefer this over a combo anything at fast food places. By the way, if you are not familiar with Korean restaurants, check the side of the table for a drawer. Utensils are inside. If utensils are not brought to you, it is normally at the table.“

“I loved the selection of meat in their combo pho. The brisket was super tender and fatty the way that I like it. Also, I don’t know if there’s something unique about their Sriracha, but it’s really fragrant and floral which really enhances the experience. I’d definitely come back here. It really hit the spot“

“Owner boss lady was so lovely and helpful. She came out and explained all the food and how to eat for my non Korean fam. Gave the touch that only an owner operator can.

Jokbal was perfectly cooked, clean and delicious. The hardest part of making this dish is getting out the sometimes overpowering porky flavor that can come with pigs feet. Nailed it!

Same thing with the bo ssam. The meat was tender, cabbage quick salt pickled to perfection. Soondae was also splendid. Soft and chewy without the grit. All the banchan had that 손맛 like your momma made it. Kiss my teeth, delicious.

Wonder why they don't have a full service restaurant, the food certainly is worthy of more than a food hall at Hmart. Next time I have a gathering I know where I'm going.“

“I think this is a good place to dine in for lunch, dinner with friends and family. The service, food, and banchan were good. They were served warm, which gave a similar feeling to a homemade meal. What we ordered:

Haemul Pajeon (Seafood Pancake) (5/5): the pancake was well seasoned. There was a balance between the amount of squids, shrimps, and the onions. It was crunchy, easy to eat, and combined well with the dipping provided.

Crisp Garlic Tofu Bites (4/5): like its name, crisp and crunchy. The inside was stuffed and not hollow.

Original Soon Tofu (4/5): I thought the broth was light and soothing, but definitely not bland. I really enjoyed it with the steamed rice, fluffy and sticky...yum yum.“

“The inside looks like a typical American Korean restaurant, but I can understand why the restaurant is called Gamjatang. Two men added kalguksu noodles to the gamjatang casserole. The noodles were chewy, the broth was delicious, there was a lot of meat, and it was soft and not fishy. It just tastes the same as what I had in Korea. They generously gave us perilla leaves and if you want to eat gamjatang, you can come here.“

“This place is an old school Korean restaurant but the food is excellent. As someone who recently moved from Koreatown LA to a gateway city, I had to find my go to Korean restaurant and I think this is one of my favorite places. We like to get the Uhndaegoo jorim (braised black cod). Some of our other favorites are the dahk gae jang, as well as the bohtsahm. The atmosphere is very modest and simple, but this is the kind of place that suits me.

I highly recommend this place both for Korean traditionalists as well as non-Koreans who just want some really good quality Korean food.“

“I went there for the first time yesterday. When I first entered the store, it looked very small and cramped, but later it felt like a home, which was fine. I ordered and ate chicken ribs and tried this and that.
I ordered extra and ate plenty of fried rice without any leftovers. Prosper in business and be happy!“

“This place has my favorite chicken dishes. When I’m feeling like I need something with broth, I’m going for the pho ga. When I’m feeling for some rice, I pick the com ga chien ( fried chicken rice). They have many other great dishes as well. If you’re in the area, stop by and dine . You won’t be disappointed.“

“I like the big portion of this restaurant. I went 2 people so we ordered 2 dishes. We tried: 1. Pork Back Bone Stew: very huge portion. The meat is soft and you can feel the broth has been well cooked that gives you the sweet and rich taste. 2. Stir Fried Squid (because I love squid!): very good. This dish can be eaten with rice (if you want to be full) or will paired good with a taste of Soju. The portions are big so don't over ordering or you will have some food to go. The food is a little plaint and there's salt to add (if you are a salty food fan) to assure you don't leave the broth behind. You will feel healthy as you leave the place. Will be great to have for hangover or when you are sick. I went on a weekend night for dinner and the restaurant was a little quiet. I think this place is most suitable for lunch. “Taste goodThis is one of the delicious Korean food restaurants. My favorite dish in this restaurant is the young radish kimchi. The young radish kimchi and soybean paste stew that are served as side dishes and complimentary throughout the year bring me here.Personally, I find various items on their menu tasty, including kalguksu (knife-cut noodles), grilled hairtail fish, and braised hairtail fish. Today, I enjoyed the pork bossam, and I would rate it three stars. It was rich and satisfying.One thing that disappointed me was that the jjanchi guksu (banquet noodles) I ordered for takeout two weeks ago, which I thought was on the menu, turned out to be a different dish. It was more like somyeon (thin wheat noodles) in kalguksu broth, not what I expected. It started with my misunderstanding, and I appreciate them trying to accommodate my request, but I was completely disappointed as it was a different dish. In my opinion, it would be better if they informed customers that what they requested isn't on the menu.This has been my favorite kalguksu place for a long time. Despite the name changing several times over 23 years, a five-star rating is more than enough.

“Today at M’s kitchen, I went with the chef’s suggestion of “cold noodles” (which is the meat sauce noodle with soy bean paste, ask for cold noodles). The pronunciation sounds like Tsa Chang lian mein, and while my mandarin is terrible the food was thankfully not. The cold noodles, cucumbers, and pork sauce hit the spot in this warm California afternoon and i couldn’t be more satisfied with both the taste and my full stomach. 10/10 Would eat again. —Recommendations— For those who want a comforting dinning experience, Treat yourself to these delicious dishes: -general tso’s chicken -spicy diced chicken -green onion pancakes -braised string beans -house special beef -braised shrimp -cold meat sauce noodle with soy bean paste —Finger foods for your office/party— For those looking to feed your office finger foods ask for a party tray (I’d get the last 3 since they are more likely “known” by the people you are feeding): -spicy diced chicken -xiao long bao -pan fried dumplings -spring rolls -green onion pancakes When in doubt, do not be afraid to ask Monica the owner for suggestions. “First timer to this local chain of restaurants with several in SoCal. Very popular reviews with taste, quantity, and value. We ordered based upon recommendations of reviews and were not disappointed overall. The noodle bowls were well assembled and flavorfull. The dumplings were quite descent as a side to noodle bowls. The green onion pancakes were insufficiently onion sprinkled and lacked flavor. Service was efficient and fast. Complete a paper check box order sheet with reference to a pictured menu and not much needed for a waiter person. Overall, Northern Cafe is worthy of return visit. The Cafe was busy with a cue outside for dinner.“

“Come on Now! I hurt my mouth so the only thing I can eat was porridge. But where can I find porridge? I found it here after googling porridge… And it was fantastic. Not “the best” in terms of the fancy restaurant style of rice porridge (juk) but definitely more homey vibes version. Like how your mom or granny would make it.

The banchan (side dishes) were really fresh and a lot of variety. I’m going to try more menu items once my mouth heals.

This place has great comfort foods and classic korean foods most other places don’t have! More authentic. Not your basic trendy Korean spot.

Also, the lady who runs the register and serves is so kind. She is like the best Korean auntie. Just a kind soul.

I will bring my wife and our families (Lord willing)!

I ordered the same thing I had ordered at another Olive Garden and it did not have the good flavor I had experienced at the previous Restaurant.“

“My mother and I visited this location and had the best service of all the restaurants we visited during my vacation. Our server was friendly, funny and took excellent care of us. When our meal was finished he was sweet and gave us soup and bread refills to go with our meal leftovers. My mother joked that this was our first outing where the meal cost more because she felt she needed to tip bigger for the wonderful service... Then smiled because it was worth it! Sadly, I didn't remember his name but he worked there 20 years and he was still passionate about giving good service.“

“Kaju is almost always packed, but for good reason! The food is just amazing. The banchan is so flavorful, everything is always fresh and you can tell they make it all in house. We love that it comes with a little mackerel! I’ve had better seafood pancake, but it is a huge portion. The galbi is delicious and the tofu stews never miss. Pricey, but worth it! It can get pretty slow just because they are so busy, it would be a bit smoother if they had a couple more servers, but we’ve come to just accept the wait as part of the experience.“
