“I asked my husband to find a cute + cozy Italian restaurant for Friday night dinner date, and we found what we wanted and more! Low lighting, but not so low you can’t read the menu. Quiet enough to hear conversation, but not awkward-quiet. And the service was top notch, nothing about the spot was pretentious, and the food was tasty. The owner (or maybe maître d’?) Vasak was so sweet and greeted us with a huge smile. He had us come to the back to taste all of the wines because I didn’t know which one I wanted, and he brought tiramisu on the house at the end of our meal. The whole staff was friendly and fast, and they all seemed to know the guests who walked in—big smiles, hugs, handshakes, “see-you-in-a-couple-weeks”. We got bow tie pasta with pink sauce and their house made gnocchi with pesto cream sauce; perfectly al dente and perfectly salted. I’m going to bring all of my friends!”

Of course, you can get deep dish, but tavern style is standard Chicago pizza in all its cheesy goodness and square-cut slices! Also highly recommend the mozzarella sticks! So crispy and cheesy, especially fresh in person at the restaurant.”

Service was good and worked well for large parties.”

Celebrated my 19 anniversary with friends and we had a great time.
Super honest people there too- a purse was left at our table when we moved to a different part of the bar, and they had put our purse behind the bar. We will definitely be back. “Ive enjoyed this place every visit. The staff are extremely friendly always greeting and remembers your name and order being a regular. Theyre hard-working employees serving great, delicious food. Affordable, reasoning prices in these difficult times as for some owners. I love that the staff works with you, cooking your order to your liking. My favorite is the breakfast burrito wrap in a bowl with the eggs cooked sunny-side up as oppose to being scrambled in their dish. Fries are great. Onion rings are great. My favorite are the tate-tots (hash brown). Another great thing is most side items are fried in beef-tallow! A great alternative to seed oils which is important to me. Quality is outstanding. Can definitely taste it in the New York strip loin minced in the breakfast burrito. I love coming here for a quick bite and either the hot Americano, Iced coffee-drip and my new favorite, their sugar free Matcha Green Tea whether iced or hot. Staff puts a lot of care and effort in to their ingredients. Feedback was always welcomed by the staff in which are understanding. If your order wasnt made to your liking, they will gladly re-make it for you for a better experience. Thats great customer service! Very kind and considerate as well. Love pets? The atmosphere is minimalist, but the sushi, sashimi, and other dishes are anything but ordinary. From buttery salmon to terrific tuna, everything here is fresh, delicious, and worth a visit.”

“I stopped by this coffee shop this morning right when they open to get some hot chocolate. I was in the area and saw that this place open early. This coffee shop is in like an apartment or business plaza so there sign for free underground parking for a certain time limit.

I took advantage of that and parked there. When I walked to the coffee place, Bryant was just opening up. He was amazing and answered all my questions. I got a hot chocolate for myself, Bryant recommend the oak chocolate chip cookie and I got my wife her iced chai latte.

This place has indoor and outdoor seating. It's very nice and spacious inside. Bryant made my order quick. The hot chocolate tasted a little watered down but it was alright. The oat chocolate cookies was not my favorite. My wife loved her chai latte and Bryant put light ice without me asking.”

“I stopped in for an espresso and ended up treating myself to a muffin and a vegetarian burrito as well. I’m glad I did — everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The burrito was perfectly balanced and satisfying, and the muffin paired wonderfully with the espresso.

The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the overall atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and inviting. It’s the kind of place where you can easily sit back, enjoy your food, and take your time. I’ll definitely be coming back.”

“Order the Aguachile with extra shrimp. It was only $30 dollars for 2 people. So affordable and delicious and clean. I highly recommend you check this place out. They also have drinks and an awesome patio that is right on Ventura Blvd. I always find meter parking but just Park across the street at the shopping center if you can’t find any.

This is more than a simple taco stand it’s a full service marisqueria. My friend from Sinaloa which I consider a Mariscos expert brought me here and it’s delicious, excellent customer service. The waitresses are smoking hot and super authentic and delicious. I feel like I’m in Rosarito beach eating seafood here. So good. I highly recommend this place. This place is way too empty for the quality of food that they serve. Try the Aguachile. I asked for mild spice and they complied. I can’t handle too spicy. 🌶️”
