“So happy when a Gino's opened up in the LA area! As a Chicago native, I've missed Chicago pizza a ton. Anytime I'm in the valley I swing by Gino's East. Of course, you can get deep dish, but tavern style is standard Chicago pizza in all its cheesy goodness and square-cut slices! Also highly recommend the mozzarella sticks! So crispy and cheesy, especially fresh in person at the restaurant.”

“First thing first, the sushi is really fresh. We got the toro, salmon belly, and the yellowtail belly. Saba is a little fishy. The rice is a bit mushy but good enough.

The cooked food is not as great. The agedashi tofu has too much breading and taste average. Kaiju tar tar is okayyy.

The service however took forever, and they never come to check up on us. Servers reach over to get dishes for other tables. Maybe they are short staffed but they should still handle us probably.”

The staff has always given us something for free- sake, mochi, or an extra roll.

Celebrated my 19 anniversary with friends and we had a great time.
Super honest people there too- a purse was left at our table when we moved to a different part of the bar, and they had put our purse behind the bar. We will definitely be back. “Order the Aguachile with extra shrimp. It was only $30 dollars for 2 people. So affordable and delicious and clean. I highly recommend you check this place out. They also have drinks and an awesome patio that is right on Ventura Blvd. I always find meter parking but just Park across the street at the shopping center if you can’t find any.

This is more than a simple taco stand it’s a full service marisqueria. My friend from Sinaloa which I consider a Mariscos expert brought me here and it’s delicious, excellent customer service. The waitresses are smoking hot and super authentic and delicious. I feel like I’m in Rosarito beach eating seafood here. So good. I highly recommend this place. This place is way too empty for the quality of food that they serve. Try the Aguachile. I asked for mild spice and they complied. I can’t handle too spicy. 🌶️”
