The ambiance is energetic yet relaxed, and the Mediterranean-inspired small plates are incredibly creative and fun to share. Every dish we tried was outstanding. Our server, I believe her name was Mallery, was absolutely fantastic. Her warmth, enthusiasm, and attention to detail elevated an already amazing meal into something truly special.

Congratulations to the Bacari team for building something so unique. Bacari delivers an experience well beyond great food. I will enthusiastically recommend Bacari to everyone I know who visits Los Angeles, and I'll definitely be back when I'm in town.

“My first time coming here and i was very pleased! It's kinda hidden off Sepulveda south of Ventura, near Dickens. It has very nice outdoor and indoor seating options. The waitresses were super nice and friendly and the food was great! I asked for something i saw on yelp but they no longer serve. The waitress made a recommendation and I was very pleased! I will be going back and having it again!”

Something about the tonkotsu in addition to the charsiu pork absolutely reigned based on my memory of LA selections. “Mr. Furley's is just a fun place to hang out. Great pub food, a huge beer selection, pool tables, dartboards, and a laid-back atmosphere. I stopped in on a Sunday night, and even after midnight the place was packed, which was awesome to see since I'm visiting from Kauai.

A big thank you to Gabriel behind the bar. He acknowledged me with a quick nod as soon as I walked up, letting me know he'd be with me in a minute. It's a small gesture, but it made a great first impression. Friendly service, great food, and a great vibe. I'll definitely be back.”

After a crazy night of delivery service fails, dropped drivers, unreachable Chow Now representatives, more delays, and remade orders, Kevan drove our order over themselves. It was a late Valentine dinner, not what we expected at all, but Pizzana made good on their end of the delivery and the food was great. Have been eating here for 7 years now -it is our favorite go to place when we have friends or family visiting from out of town, or a celebration.
The staff has always given us something for free- sake, mochi, or an extra roll.
I dislike fish, but decided to give it a go here. I am hooked! Pun intended!

The food has always been fresh, and the prices are better than you would find at most places. It is never very crowded, except for Friday and Saturday nights.
Everyone we bring to Sumo Sushi- even from other countries say the food is better than average.

The service was 100 out of 10. The waiter knew the menu very well and was able to make great recommendations. I ordered the coconut milk soup with seafood, and it was absolutely delicious. There was a lot of seafood in it, and the portion was very generous.

We also ordered chicken and drinks. Honestly, the amount of food they brought us could easily feed three people. For $49 total, it was definitely worth it.

I also want to mention the honesty and kindness of the staff. I accidentally left my AirPods at the table, and the waitress found my car in the parking lot and personally returned them to me. That really impressed me and says a lot about the level of service and care they provide.

“I’ve known the owner and employees at FruttoMania for what feels like years. They were truly paved into my morning tradition. They are situated on a block where community is everything, and they are a large reason why that is so. Every morning my dog would start our walk at the same time they would open up for business. He’d wag his tail in excitement of seeing Tata and Caribel open up the shop and prepare him some slices of cucumber.

You might think, cucumber? He used to get dog treats from Tata that she personally went out of her way to improve for my dog. Not her fault he wound up with pancreatitis but even when he couldn’t have the treats she got for him she found a way to spoil him and he loved her for it. He never missed a day, and his love for that shop was endless and even tho he came for cucumbers he stayed for them.

It wasn’t just for my dog though, they took incredible care of me as well. They invested their time they had getting to know me, we’d come in for my dog who needed 3 minutes and spend half an hour talking as they got ready to welcome customers.

Not to even mention the drinks are fire! 🔥 all the ingredients are super fresh and you will not find a stronger ginger juice for your wellness shots anywhere else. FruttoMania has great prices, quality of food, and personal experience. I will miss seeing them everyday and our lives will not be the same without them. Make them part of your morning, I will be envious of every customer who reads this and pays them a visit.”

“A place like Goncho Bistro makes me wish I lived in the neighborhood, the menu, the prices, the casual atmosphere were all so appealing on paper and once I went, it all delivered. I was staying at a friends nearby and wandered in on a Tuesday evening when the fish joint a couple doors down was closed.

I was greeted by whom I believe was one of the owners as he was assembling some furniture and beckoned in warmly to order. A family of three was about to order as well and I insisted not to worry about getting mine out first as I was not in a hurry and going to sit outside. I ordered the Goncho burger combo, a kiwi chicken salad, and a San Pellegrino soda. He had asked if it was my first time in and as a result didn't charge me for the beverage which was a kind gesture.

I set up outside at slightly wobbly wicker table and enjoyed the warm evening and lovely sunset in a chair that I thought was going to be a lot less comfortable than it was for my big butt. The food was ready about 20 minutes later and I tucked in. The kiwi chicken salad was extraordinary, at least to my tastes, and don't let the photos fool you there were 6 or 7 big pieces of strongly seasoned chicken in it, not just 3 on top. There was also easily a whole kiwi and maybe even a whole medium avocado in it too. The spinach taste fresh and the minty vinaigrette was refreshing and really tied together a unique salad at a borderline bargain price. The burger combo continued that trend. At 18 dollars it was piled with perfectly roasted little potatoes and a really hearty burger for its size. The beef was juicy, rich, and cooked at a perfect medium by default. The beefy flavor was in harmony with the strong sweetness of the carmalized onion and mozzarella making for sweet savory bites reminiscent of some of my favorite burgers that use fig or bacon jams. The mustardy-mayo sauce was perfect for the little potatoes and the cheese on top was nice, but could totally be omitted in my uninformed opinion.

Paying about $30 for all of this at a bistro in Sherman Oaks felt like great deal and really contributed to the joy of such good food. I don't think I would've been disappointed or upset if it was closer to $40, but it wouldn't have felt as hospitable or special as money gets tighter these days. I will be back again and again as the entire menu is so appealing and offers some uncommon flavors and dishes. I'm confident they will all be executed perfectly and priced more than fairly based on this experience. Go here please!”

“So, my girlfriend and I hit up Zen Toro for her birthday, and let me tell you, it was fantastic. That edamame with the soy glaze? We were practically licking our fingers. The rolls were fresh, and we kept looking at each other after each bite like, “Yep, that’s good.” And the shishito peppers? Just the right amount of char and that sauce had us dipping them like there was no tomorrow. We enjoyed it so much that we’re already talking about when we’ll be back. “I recently tried this dessert shop and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, the croffle was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, the pancakes were fluffy, and the matcha had a rich, smooth flavor that really stood out.

“This place is literally my favorite place to get chicken teriyaki out of any place. Including “fancy” sit downs, take out, literally just any place… the way the chicken tastes here is unbeatable and the price is amazing too. Could eat this place everyday and be happy.
