“Had an all-around great time here at The Crabby Crab! A friend and I had been threatening to come for years and thankfully we finally pulled the trigger. I started off with one of the best Micheladas on the planet. Super flavorful! Then moved on to the clam chowder (pictured) which was amazing. Thick and rich. I highly recommend you get it with everything. Then we split a boil with snow crab, mussels and peeled shrimp in the garlic butter sauce. My friend can't do spicy or I would've gone with Cajun but I was in no way disappointed with garlic butter. The wait staff was super attentive and polite. Great atmosphere. Super appreciated the parking lot in the back.Parking: Small parking lot behind the restaurant. Can fill up easily during busy times.“
“The Daddy sauce is addicting! I always get the Daddy Shrimp Bowl with daddy sauce and it's always perfect! Recently tried the Wet Daddy Wings and they are terrific! Perfectly crispy and good amount of meat on them!Service is always great at this location! I love the small cafe vibes ! 10/10“
“The food was so good that I totally forgot to take a picture. We stopped by around 8 pm on a Friday night, there was no line and we got seated pretty fast, service was friendly and phenomenal. The ambiance was nice and neat, I like the decoration. We ordered muscles and king crabs and it was so good as we requested mild and it came out pretty good. I highly recommend this new place.“
“I was in a part of town I rarely visit & played "Yelp roulette". I rust type in "highest rated" in current location & see what looks interesting. I'm glad I found CF Food Kitchen. It's a fairly nondescript restaurant with a simple interior in the corner of a small pod mall. It was "Wellington Wednesday". Other items looked great, but I've never had beef Wellington, so I figured, "Why not???". It comes as a three course meal plus warm, perfectly crusty bread. I picked lobster bisque which was very rich, creamy and lobster-forward even without many (any?) lobster bits. I took the desert to-go. The key lime pie was solid. The Wellington was good, not great. The pastry was kind of doughy & the mushroom duxelles was fairly flavorless. Luckily the beef loin and Demi glacé were excellent. Also the dollop of whipped mash was great with the Demi glacé and a few small veggies. The roasted gold beet was small, but the star of the veggies. The server was amazing: warm, welcoming, caring and knowledgeable. I hope I'm back in the area to try other items. They definitely focus more on the food than the ambiance, though.“
“I give the food at 3 it's not the worst food but the atmosphere and the food don't coherent the atmosphere is great but the food and the pricing don't go together the food should be a little bit better for the price and then the atmosphere and the price would go great I always get the gumbo and the small crabs is complete mush but the rest of it is deliciousParking: Limited parking... The parking lot has about 7 parking spaces that's usually full but there's free neighborhood parking“
“I was going somewhere else but the wait was too long and I am glad it was, because that's how I found this place. Way cheaper than other Cajun around here. Tastier, great service, beautiful decoration, TV and great music. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.“
“This is a casual, plain looking, decent size restaurant. It has a very small and inadequate parking area on site, but there is street parking available. The service is average and unhurried. The prices are moderate and its kind of a nice, informal place to go. The Fish and Chips was exceptional. The clams are served in large plastic bag with lots of garlic butter. They're small but its a good portion. They were out of several things including lobster and oysters. The garlic noodles side dish was tasty, cooked perfectly and was excellent. The restaurant's decor is very much like a typical New England shoreline (non-tourist) local restaurant with tables, a brick wall, standard decor. It was plain and comfortable. I might suggest that you look at the menu online before going and call to see what they're out of. All in all, it was a very good experience and is definitely recommended. We'll be back. “It was my first time here, although I'm allergic to everything from the sea except fish, which I only eat 3-4 times per year, I was able to find something that I could digest. The chicken tenders with lemon pepper fries are a must-have!! Coming from the Caribbean, the seasoning used for this dish is one I've never experienced. This plate can be ? so be careful!!!“
“Ordered fresh oysters. They were nice but so small in size. Never had oysters that small. It's like a quarter sized coin. Ordered the crab but was not told it was a frozen crab. The texture was not very nice. Crab was charged as such though. Also, I ordered clams, shrimp, eggs, potatoes, and the calendar fries. All were as expected but the clams were very nice and large. Last comment is the spice level. Seems Westwood' XXX is different than Rosemead's XXX. Westwood XXX is not spicy at ?“
“I attended Les Sisters last day of the smaller location and I am thrilled to say their 2nd larger location is the spot to support. More room for people to eat, enjoy, support and return with family, friends or co-workers. Don’t forget they do have takeout. Yummy food for your tummy.“
“Stevie’s should be highly recommended by anyone who’s ever been there. The menu selection is as large as the itis that’s gone getchu after trying to walk away from the table. My only advice is to look at the menu before you go to save you and your partyparty some time. The menu is vast, and you won’t be able to choose just one thing, but understand if you have to!“
“There was a two hours wait but we waited it out and the food was very good. The service was quick once we got in. Not sure if it was worth waiting two hours and not being seats until very late into the evening but my family enjoyed themselves.“
“Mache is amazing server! He took care of us! He made we understood what was the best way to eat at The Drunken Crab!!The foooood was AMAZING!!!!!! My god. Raw oyster, the best! The mussels, shrimp, sauce delicious!!!!! 3 sauce mix - on point! And we liked the Bloody Mary Saki! And the music was hitting the spot.“
“This is my first time eating seafood boil at a restaurant and I had a great experience here! Luis was our host and he was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and came out quickly. I ordered the shrimp (head on) and snow crab with daddy sauce and medium spice (I didn't feel that it was spicy, but perhaps that is just my tolerance). Would definitely recommend to friends.“
“I frequent this place quite a bit and love it! Bill is our favorite server when we dine-in. We call him Mr. Bill. He is always friendly. The food is awesome. At least the crab leg seafood boil is. That’s all I get and my friend likes the crawfish. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. This past weekend I ordered take-out. The young lady who took the Oder over the phone was kind as well as the young lady when I picked it up. Always a great experience.Parking: Huge parking lot shared with other establishments“
“First time here I have to say the service was outstanding. The place was very clean and the food was excellent so savory finger licking good definitely, I come back definitely I would recommend someone thank you Bella for your recommendation with the K of C mix Cajun seasoning.“
“Was able to try this food truck that was parked on my street. Haven't had a seafood boil in a while so I was pretty excited. Got the special #2 with lobster tail, 1/2 pound of shrimp, sausage, corn and potato for around $34. I got a mix of mild and spicy Cajun for a good medium spice. The first thing I noticed was how much flavor was in the sauce. The sausage, corn and potatoes were all great. The shrimp was good, just takes a little work as normal with seafood boils. I would prefer an option without the head-on. The lobster tail was the only mild disappointment, due to the meat being a little tougher than I'm used to with lobster tail. Overall the food was pretty good and the service as well. I'd try it again to get the crab leg and shrimp special.“
“Chef Marilyn's has been a staple in LA for many years at this location and the other location across from McDonald's near 43rd. Lines are always long as it's a takeout location but the food is always good. I get her prices went up but what hasn't these days. Inflation is real for food, groceries and gotta keep staff at competitive wages. The food is so bomb nothing is never nasty chicken meatloaf spaghetti yams greens cornbread smothered chicken and her gumbo is everything. We love it here and will keep visiting. Her ambiance is a to go so it's busy and staff can be a bit slower but they are friendly. Some of the best soul food on the west coast.“
“Love love love Cajun/Creole food! I was more than pleasantly surprised to find this gem in my neck of the woods, and am happy to report that Mardi Gras Tuesday will be my go-to Cajun/Creole joint for the foreseeable future. Mind you, I'm no expert on the cuisine, but I've been a fan for a long time and can happily endorse the Étouffée (crawfish), the Jambalaya, the Mac and Cheese, hushpuppies, and the friendly service at Mardi Gras Tuesday. *Though the cornbread didn't necessarily wow me, all and all, it was a great meal for the portions, price and quality. And considering they got slammed as soon as we walked in (around the start of the Super Bowl), the service was quick and we were in and out of there with bellies full of comfort food within an hour. Can't wait to go back!“
