“A NorCal institution. Don't miss out on their Parmesan covered tacos filled with ground beef, melty melty cheese and sauce. Of course there's lettuce in there too, but I take most of that out. Their beans and cheese burrito is amazing, as is their taco burger. This location was clean and had friendly staff.“

“Located in the far side of a strip mall. Plenty of parking. Cozy restaurant, a throwback to earlier days. Warm greeting and attentive staff. Mostly booth seating. Food is perfect if you Are looking for Mexican food with little deviation from mild. The Chile verde was tasty but the beans (whole) and rice were bland. Complimentary chips were excellent and salsa was good. The restaurant was busy for a Thursday afternoon.“
“Love their tacos. The fish is not fried but still really tasty. Their al pastor is delicious (but saucey) and I like their chorizo too. Friend always gets the burritos because they are HUGE. BD gets their pupusas which comes with a fantastic slaw. I to the market for the seasoning on their chicken and to pick up simple items I'll need if I'm making food at home. Service has always been friendly. Please bring back the tables so we can eat there. I know it's tight sometimes but I miss the salsa and eating inside if it's rainy outside.“

“We did not know their hours and arrived at closing. We were welcomed in, served promptly with hot food and a very polite staff. The food was fresh and very good. We had been snowed in for almost 2 weeks so a hot meal sure hit the spot. Highly recommend for good food and friendly place to eat.“

“Placed a big dinner order for my family after coming home from Reno. When I got there I realized I left my wallet at home. I went in and told the proprietor what happened and that I’d be back in 10 minutes to pay and get the food, which was already prepared and waiting for me on the counter. He told me: “No, take it and come back. I know you’re good for it.” This was the first time I’ve ever ordered food here. After delivering the food to my grateful wife and kids, I came back to pay and was happy to give him a generous tip for his kind gesture. At that point he told me to go and grab any beverage out of the refrigerator that I wanted, on the house. And the food was absolutely fantastic. Customer for life. My new go-to Mexican spot in CP“

“Even though the place is a little janky, it is so good. It's obvious that everything is house made, especially the chips and salsa. The service is good, and the interior design just screams Family-Owned Taqueria. Love it here. Oh, and if that wasn't enough, that serve yummy pastries.Oh, and if THAT wasn't enough, it's connected to a convenience store. I would 110% go back here!“

“Excellent customer service & delicious food. The owner graciously accommodated our request for a take-out order with everything necessary to set up a build-your-own taco bar at home. The food was fresh, flavorful, packaged well & priced fairly. The staff we interacted with were very friendly & helpful. We will definitely be returning & highly recommend this spot for large take-out orders.“

“Casual, family-owned chain that offers Mexican favorites. Although, we did not dine in, we did have a takeout order that was ready for pickup at the scheduled time. Portion sizes were great and the food was tasty. Tried their carnitas burger, Fajita quesadilla, and abuelas taquitos. If I'm in the area again, I'll dine in for the full customer experience.“

“We tried their crispy grilled steak tacos. The meat was tender but a bit dry. Price was reasonable, and our order was ready for pickup when we arrived. These are the best tacos in Cameron Park, since Tasty Taco Box moved to pleasant valley.“

“Solid option for Mexican food in Cameron Park. It’s a sit down restaurant with a bar. The restaurant has a family friendly vibe. The customer service is fantastic. But they do get busy during peak times and when it’s a full house, there is a wait time for a table. On my last visit, I ordered the Los Pinos Carne Asada which was a marinated flame broiled ribeye. I thought it would be more like carne asada, thin skirt steak. But this steak was thicker than carne asada and was an actual rib eye. It was a bit tough to cut with the steak knife. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare to what I asked for. But it was chewy, stringy. The Spanish rice and refried beans were perfectly basic and tasty. The complimentary chips and salsa were delicious. The waitress kept ‘em coming. My dining pals ordered margaritas, they luved ‘em. Folks enjoyed their food. Crispy asada tacos, chicken burrito, steak ranchero, chicken fajitas, and chicken taco salad. The fajita plate serving size is substantial. The taco salad was served in a crispy fried tortilla shell. It was a hefty serving size as well.“

“Dad waxed poetic about the shrimp-bacon tacos, and he’s not big on talking food. My chile verde burrito had really excellent meat and was generally pleasant. It’s a stylish restaurant with careful service. Very pricey, so if I did it again, I’d go for something with a more unusual flavor profile.“

“A beautiful restaurant in downtown Placerville, California. Great atmosphere, excellent service and, for the most part, really good food. The one-star deduction is because I think that a great Mexican restaurant should have great salsa. Cascada's salsa is really bland with zero spice. Tip: if you ask, they will provide some habanero sauce that you can add to the salsa. Careful ... it's really hot, but it does improve the salsa.“
“I visited Papi's Kitchen because I learned that they also cater. While visiting the food truck I had a couple of their street tacos. WOW, WOW, WOW!!! They were delicious. After checking out a couple of catering businesses, I decided to hire Papi's Kitchen for my husband's Celebration of Life reception. I cannot say enough good things about them. They were prompt, courteous, customer service oriented, their food was outstanding and they made sure they had more than enough for all the guests. They made a big impression on my guests and many of them went back for seconds. Also, when they left their area was spotless! I highly recommend Papi's Kitchen for any event you may have, and of course, look up their schedule and visit them for lunch.“

“Food is good I got the pork tamale chicken enchilada plate. It was very good I will be back and I do recommend. My wife had the two taco combination plate with ground beef instead of shredded beef and she seemed to like hers a lot also. Five stars all day long restaurant also is very clean and the staff seem to be very pleasant.“
