“Best coffee shop for miles - everything about jpeg is first-rate. The baristas are serious coffee pros, and the drinks they make are among the best I’ve had. They roast on-site of course, and the variety and quality of the beans guarantees your next bag of jpeg will be yet another new adventure. We are Lucky to have them here in town.”

“A great bakery, full of yummy baked items, prepared meals to go, breads to take home, sandwiches, salads and yummy desserts. I always stop here when I'm in the Sierra Madre area. They offer baked breads and prepared entries. Prices are a bit high, but worth every penny.”

“Super delicious açaí bowls! I got the House bowl. The fruit and all the other toppings are super fresh and delicious, and there were just the right amounts of them. Açaí was the perfect temperature. Chef's kiss.”

“It's become a yearly meeting place for my friends and I to meet here at this lovely and quaint establishment. I love coming into Sierra Madre, a tiny gorgeous little place that lets me forget the hustle and bustle of the city. The restaurant itself is cozy and the service awesome. The food is delicious and tastes fresh. I have had the mushroom risotto and the chicken dish that was fabulous. The salads are also fresh, light and tasty. The desserts were wonderful. Not heavy, not powerful sweet, just perfect. I had the creme burlee on one occasion and the brownie on another. We have tried other restaurants in the area, but for me this is my go-to when in Sierra Madre.”

“Delicious pizza, a warm atmosphere, and fair prices. What more can you ask for? I got their large BBQ Chicken and shared with 2 friends - it was excellent! Highly recommended.”

“This place is pretty decent. All I really get here are fish and shrimp tacos. And I think those are pretty darn good. If I'm going out on a limb I get a bean and cheese burrito. No fluff, no nonsense, just a burrito to the dome that makes me fart. 🙂 Anyway, I think it serves better food than the other place in Sierra. Madre that's just my opinion. Service is fast and there's some good people working here. So come here eat a fish taco and shut up. Love, me. 🙂😘”
“Anita’s cake is perfect in every way, even though I am not a big fan of sesame flavor cake but I have to say she has her magic way to make all ingredients blend in beautifully. This matcha sesame mousse cake is so soft and so smooth, u can taste the matcha and the sesame with the right amount of sweetness. This is the second cake I tried from her, her Earl gray cake is definitely heavenly and a must try. Her cakes are simply fantastic. Would want to try more.”

“Hiatus= opportunity for another stop in the LAtte tour. Today’s pilgrimage finds me in Sierra Madre at Syndicate, a fantastic find nestled comfortably downtown on Sierra Madre Blvd. Plenty of street parking and a beautiful place to take a stroll if you don’t score a spot immediately out front. The vibe is instantly welcoming, decor is colorfully minimalist, that’s probably not a thing, but it’s the best descriptor I have. The baristas are friendly, skilled and true devotees to all things coffee, even willing to share some potential sites to visit on the next LAtte stop. The coffee itself is excellent, rich, flavorful and no hint of bitterness. I went with oat milk this time and it paired perfectly with the blend, rich creamy, delicious! I can wholeheartedly recommend a visit should you find yourself in the area, or even if your not- expand your horizons and make it a destination, it’s worth it.”

“Known for their creamy and delicious ice cream but they also have sorbets, popsicles and baked goods.
Cute location with a small town feel. No inside seating but scattered benches outside to enjoy dessert.”

“Lots of vegan choices here with faux meats. I ate my falafel and fries. The fries were a light golden, crunchy outside fluffy inside, generous portion, but it costs extra. The falafel (about five in the wrap) was good, a little dry, but good chickpea flavor 5/5...but I wished the lettuce wasn't so "spring mix from a supermarket bag" and clubky chunky...I like to see more finesse...but the pita was the thick fluffy kind and the sandwich was well wrapped so you could hold it without too much falling out. I enjoyed the cute Sierra Madre ambiance inside...though I was kept waiting so long in the place i nearly left...about 12 minutes alone before someone emerged from the back, without as much of a welcome or greeting. Well, I was excited to be there at least. Anyway, no check ins from any server but I tipped the guy 15 percent anyway, and he did thank me for that. I ordered a beef and chicken combo with rice and the proteins were grrrreat 5/5. It survived the half-hour drive home. Suggestion: Ask to have the pita bread packaged outside the container. The pita was under the proteins...alas mushy soggy unrecognizable....not smart, sorry. So if you want pita that isn't mush, beg to have the pita on the side. One star less because of that decision to put bread on the bottom for a takeout order. My mom didn't get any pita 0/5 and that's a shame bec it was the fluffy kind.”

“This place is great. It has a really small town feel to it, so you feel good giving them your business, but yea, the pizza is great. It’s a great thick crust and awesome toppings. They are always friendly when you call in your order and then also when you pick it up. It’s in the middle of downtown Sierra Madre so it’s a fun place to hang out. Definitely recommend coming here!”

“Cozy restaurant full of character, good vibes and yummy food near a babbling creek in a mostly hidden canyon - what’s not to love ?❤️”
