“Great neighborhood spot for refreshing smoothies, açaí and more! I always come for the build-your-own açaí bowls. They are affordable and the larger size will definitely fill you up! Service is quick and friendly too.”

“We had a wonderful cozy experience headlined with a delicious Turkey Cranberry Sandwich. My partner had a Chicken pesto which was scrumptious. The new owners are very courteous and took extra time to ensure we had everything we needed, even giving us a complimentary Cinnamon roll. The environment and location is as sweet of a neighborhood experience you can find in the LA area.”

“The coffee here is amazing. The barista is friendly. And the ambiance is quiet and intimate. When you walk in, it’s very open and welcoming. The barista was very knowledgeable on any of my questions and we traded recommendations on some local Portland roasters. I got a spro and cortado, while my wife got a Sierra tonic which actually made me like espresso tonics. Hands down this is the best oat cortado I’ve ever had. The milk was steamed with perfect microfoam, and it really accented the bean’s natural sweetness. I didn’t catch his name, but we were there at noon on a Saturday after thanksgiving. Anyway, stay frosty Sierra Madre, Peace.”

“We have dined here a couple of times when we come back to visit family. We are never disappointed. The food is quite good. Portions are on the larger size, so expect to have leftovers to bring home (or just go nuts and indulge).
However, the dinning room is comparatively small and not intimate. That isn't that big of a deal, but you should be aware of it going in. I would recommend a reservation if dining later in the evening. If you arrive earlier, they can usually seat you.
Parking is on the street (but that is par for the course in Sierra Madre), but be prepared to have to drive around a little to find a spot.
The only negative was on our last visit. The front of house was clearly understaffed. The one waiter was doing double duty as the bar tender. So, speed of service was not on the menu.
A solid choice for dining and will we will undoubtedly visit again.”

“This place is pretty decent. All I really get here are fish and shrimp tacos. And I think those are pretty darn good. If I'm going out on a limb I get a bean and cheese burrito. No fluff, no nonsense, just a burrito to the dome that makes me fart. 🙂 Anyway, I think it serves better food than the other place in Sierra. Madre that's just my opinion. Service is fast and there's some good people working here. So come here eat a fish taco and shut up. Love, me. 🙂😘”

“Hiatus= opportunity for another stop in the LAtte tour. Today’s pilgrimage finds me in Sierra Madre at Syndicate, a fantastic find nestled comfortably downtown on Sierra Madre Blvd. Plenty of street parking and a beautiful place to take a stroll if you don’t score a spot immediately out front. The vibe is instantly welcoming, decor is colorfully minimalist, that’s probably not a thing, but it’s the best descriptor I have. The baristas are friendly, skilled and true devotees to all things coffee, even willing to share some potential sites to visit on the next LAtte stop. The coffee itself is excellent, rich, flavorful and no hint of bitterness. I went with oat milk this time and it paired perfectly with the blend, rich creamy, delicious! I can wholeheartedly recommend a visit should you find yourself in the area, or even if your not- expand your horizons and make it a destination, it’s worth it.”

“Great place to stop and have a bite to eat , they serve beer and absolute kind service, can get busy during the weekend and parking can be difficult, but their is a parking lot across the street for local patrons visiting the village eateries that are here in the area. Great atmosphere with people very courteous, overall a great area to visit .”

“Located in downtown Sierra Madre, Sierra Madre Pizza co serves a wide array of various pizzas and toppings and assorted other items as well as offering lunch pizza slice specials parking can be found in the back in the front of the location or you can park in the public parking lot and walk across the street, some of the best pizza I've had.”

“Lots of vegan choices here with faux meats. I ate my falafel and fries. The fries were a light golden, crunchy outside fluffy inside, generous portion, but it costs extra. The falafel (about five in the wrap) was good, a little dry, but good chickpea flavor 5/5...but I wished the lettuce wasn't so "spring mix from a supermarket bag" and clubky chunky...I like to see more finesse...but the pita was the thick fluffy kind and the sandwich was well wrapped so you could hold it without too much falling out. I enjoyed the cute Sierra Madre ambiance inside...though I was kept waiting so long in the place i nearly left...about 12 minutes alone before someone emerged from the back, without as much of a welcome or greeting. Well, I was excited to be there at least. Anyway, no check ins from any server but I tipped the guy 15 percent anyway, and he did thank me for that. I ordered a beef and chicken combo with rice and the proteins were grrrreat 5/5. It survived the half-hour drive home. Suggestion: Ask to have the pita bread packaged outside the container. The pita was under the proteins...alas mushy soggy unrecognizable....not smart, sorry. So if you want pita that isn't mush, beg to have the pita on the side. One star less because of that decision to put bread on the bottom for a takeout order. My mom didn't get any pita 0/5 and that's a shame bec it was the fluffy kind.”

“Cozy restaurant full of character, good vibes and yummy food near a babbling creek in a mostly hidden canyon - what’s not to love ?❤️”
