“just ordered food from China Gourmet in Signal Hill, Ca.. upon entering the restaurant a young man greeted me with a hello. He was pleasent and welcoming. He took my order of mushroom chicken, mixed vegetables and rice with a two order combo. I had BBQ pork, half and half and jalapeño chicken, with two drinks. Returned home and started to dive in! WOW IT WAS AMAZING! The pork was cooked just right, the chicken was extremely delicious and chow mein was actual chow mein and not Top Ramen noodles substitute. my friend who ordered the mushroom chicken and vegetables couldn't stop eating. I've been to numerous fast Chinese food places and none of them have been as good as this place with the quality of food and the amount given. the price was moderate in today's society of price gouging it was $27 and well worth it. if you enjoy Chinese food and really want to get a bang for your buck as well as and enjoyment of flavors in your mouth go to China Gourmet!“

“Tasty Goody in Norwalk is hands down the best Chinese food place this side of the Mississippi. I go there whenever I want some ? orange chicken, and it never disappoints. The portions are huge, and the prices are great for how much food you get. The orange chicken has the perfect amount of crunch and sauce, and the noodles are always fresh. I’ve tried a lot of places, but nothing really compares to Tasty Goody. Plus, the people there are super nice and quick with your order. Definitely my go-to spot for Chinese food.“

“The first time I went here I would give it 5 stars. I went between lunch and dinner so it was quiet and calm. The food and service was amazing. The fooooodddd yum yum yum. However in my later visits the food has not been so amazing. Still good but not super super delicious.
If you go when it's busy, it can be chaotic in there. But it's cuz it's a small place and it's popular.

“If you love dumplings and yummy fried rice ... it's fairly priced , tasty and fresh. Fave dishes include the shrimp fried rice, garlic green beans ( yeah i don't even love green beans but they add salty garlicky crack here!) and the eggplant with garlic sauce with mushrooms and a dash of pork . Soup dumplings are winner. Potstickers yum.
The San Pedro locale has lamb dumplings that they need to add here!

“I came here with my family for dinner for the first time on New Year's Eve, and it was a great experience.
The dumplings were tasty and fresh, and the service was fast and friendly. My only complaint is that the chicken we ordered wasn't made with white meat, which is disappointing. But other than that, everything was fine.

“I've had their Chow mein at friendsgiving and it was one of the best I've had. Just happened to be in the area and had to try some other entrees. Unfortunately the friend that brought it over took longer to reply on recommendations, but the orange chicken and teriyaki chicken were delicious. I'll be coming back to try some of the pork I was eyeing and some other items that were recommended.

Overall a great place for authentic fast casual Chinese food that's very generous with their servings. I came in around 7PM and there was a line extending to the inside of the door.“

The lady was SOOOO nice and helpful over the phone. With that said, the food here is top notch! When I need comfort food, I get the egg flower soup and dumplings. “The family was in the mood for some Korean Chinese food and the place closer to my house was closed so we found this place. With good reviews we decided to try it. For those that grew up with Korean Chinese food, this place is just like what you remember from back in the day. They didn't try to modernize anything and just kept it as is, just like it's supposed to be. Everything was good and it tasted fresh. I usually don't order Mongolian beef as most times, the meat is very chewy, but it wasn't here. It was tender and flavored very nicely. We also ordered the Noodles with Black Bean Sauce Noodle aka Jajangmyeon. I liked it but it wasn't great. My family on the other hand thought that it was great. The Sweet & Sour pork and the Fried Shrimp with hot garlic sauce were crunchy despite us ordering to go. Their portion size was also good. I find most places charge more AND reduce the portion size but here, although the prices did increase, the portion size is still good. That's a big plus in my book. Overall, I would come back here again and would recommend it to others.“

“Today at M’s kitchen, I went with the chef’s suggestion of “cold noodles” (which is the meat sauce noodle with soy bean paste, ask for cold noodles). The pronunciation sounds like Tsa Chang lian mein, and while my mandarin is terrible the food was thankfully not. The cold noodles, cucumbers, and pork sauce hit the spot in this warm California afternoon and i couldn’t be more satisfied with both the taste and my full stomach. 10/10 Would eat again. —Recommendations— For those who want a comforting dinning experience, Treat yourself to these delicious dishes: -general tso’s chicken -spicy diced chicken -green onion pancakes -braised string beans -house special beef -braised shrimp -cold meat sauce noodle with soy bean paste —Finger foods for your office/party— For those looking to feed your office finger foods ask for a party tray (I’d get the last 3 since they are more likely “known” by the people you are feeding): -spicy diced chicken -xiao long bao -pan fried dumplings -spring rolls -green onion pancakes When in doubt, do not be afraid to ask Monica the owner for suggestions.
