“I cannot believe after having been in the Carmel Valley Delmar area and so many times to Delmar Plaza, this was the first Time that I tried this beautiful Parisian bakery Café ?✨
They have the most wonderful atmosphere, the the most delectable True Parisian Desserts and delicacies, special finds gifts, mints, and chocolates… the little things that you can give to people that make them smile
One of the owners family was there and Estee was absolutely wonderful
And I say that because a song was on by the Bee Gees when I walked in with my friend, and I began to sing and she was so lovely and so nice and so gracious and I don’t know that she knew what hit her but I was completely impressed and it would be a wonderful place for a ladies tea coffee or gathering for all ???“

“Fun flavors, friendly staff, and cute little shop. Cupcakes themselves are good but not amazing. The cake was a bit dry, and to some degree there is only a good cake or not good cake; hard to be blown away by anything there. The frosting/flavors add fun options and were where the cupcakes were good, making up for the deficit in the cakes themselves. Overall, it’s a fun shop, definitely worth a try or two!“

“A cute bakery decorated in blue. The interior of the store is based on white with blue and wood accents, creating a refreshing atmosphere. The breads are neatly arranged in the showcases and shelves, and that alone makes you feel good. The lineup of small items such as coffee and tote bags for sale is also cute.“

“I'm a loyal Lady M fan from New Jersey and only visited this location once. Its selection is a bit limited compared to the stores in the NYC area, but still quite good nonetheless. Green tea and chocolate are my favorites, though they may not always be available.“
“Like a few others here, I am a native New Yorker with a love for authentic and delicious rugulach with proper and freash ingredients.Chewy's rugulach is the best there is here on the west coast.I pick up the chocolate rugulach at the cookie bar at Whole Foods Market in El Segundo, and you should too! Just the most delicious snack one could ask for. Love the raspberry (not usually a Raspberry fan of anything) and the apricot as well!“

“We just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to SusieCakes for making Audrey’s day today. She had just come from a vaccine doctor appointment and I promised she could pick out a special cupcake that I’d planned to pay for with cash. But due to COVID changes, only credit cards are accepted and I’d completely forgotten mine. We went to check the car for a card with no luck, and while out there, the employee came out with Audrey’s cupcake as a ‘gift’ instead. THANK YOU for making my daughter’s day because I was feeling so bad I was going to have to skip her special treat because I didn’t have the right form of payment. We’ll be back for sure! The cupcake was delicious!!“

“Delicious! But never know when they are open. We went on Sunday we shared with the family. We have returned on Monday @3, Tuesday @12 & now again Thursday @11am still never open again. Is it only a weekend thing? We have tried different times. It truly is the in the park. Worth it. Just wish we knew when it was open.“

“Trining’s is “in transition” and it shows. The front is a bit disorganized, but well divided into baked goods and ready-made take out products. The menu is hand-written on a wall-mounted white board (see pictures), but is easily understood and clearly legible.
Now, for the food—Very good! Loved the lumpia. The sweet chili sauce had just a hint of heat to it. Perfect!
We also got chicken adobo and pancit. Both were excellent. Since I ordered two combos to go, I was very careful not to tip the containers and tried to avoid contaminating the pancit with adobo sauce. All for naught. I must have leaned on the brakes a bit too heavily because the very fluid adobo sauce obeyed the laws of physics and colored both the pancit and lumpia. With dark, rich, peppery adobo flavoring. But—it was still great! The chicken adobo was tender and tasty, and the pancit was yummy, even though it tasted more like adobo than pancit. The lumpia, as I expected, was to die for. Crisp and crunchy with a hint of heat from the chili sauce. So good!
Well done Trining’s. Get your front together and I’ll be back. Can I bring some friends with me? I’ve got some East coast buddies who think egg rolls are the bomb. Your lumpia can easily blow that theory out of the water…“

“I ordered a pack of Spanish Bread and a spicy chicken empanada, and they were delicious! The only thing I would change would be the amount of filling in the Spanish bread, but everything else was great. The staff were nice and packed everything up nicely. I’ll definitely be back.
Parking: It’s mixed with the whole plaza, so the parking is almost busy all the time.
Kid-friendliness: There are brownies and cakes.“
