“Wonderful little wine bar! We loved our Chardonnay. Nice assortment of wines. Almonds and olives were great. We were curious about the orange wine but didn’t want to order. Our server, Feliciano, was kind enough to bring us a small sample before we left so we could taste which was very thoughtful.

Only reason I give atmosphere 4 stars is because it’s very loud inside. Other than that, it’s great! Outdoor patio is lovely if you can snag a table.“

“If you are in the fashion district of Solana Beach or going to a concert at the Belly Up and are looking for great little Sushi place, go to Kai Ola Sushi! My wife and I were looking for a place to get some food prior to a concert at the Belly Up and came upon this great little restaurant. The vibe and atmosphere is very cool, the Sushi was delicious, and the service was great! The Sushi chef was very personable and friendly and even educated us on some of the Sushi rolls he was preparing, while we sat and ate at the Sushi bar.“

“I just happen to be in the area and came across this cute little wine store and tapas restaurant. I love the warm and inviting atmosphere, very clean, and the staff was friendly, dressed nicely and attentive. My friend and I ordered some delicious Zinfandel and the hummus plate was excellent. “We love our neighborhood go to spot for excellent wine and beer choices and perfect bistro food: salads, small plates, flat breads and out of this world cheese boards. Lucky to have so close and with such friendly staff!“

“An absolutely amazing dining experience! Went at high tide (not King Tide) but still special having the waves come up to our window! It was our 21st wedding anniversary and they did everything to make it special. Special table right on the window with waves up to our window. Custom personalized menu and glass of champagne to toast. Stefano was so classy and treated us like royalty. No rush at all and excellent service all night. There were a few mistakes made like timing and steak a little undercooked but they were so apologetic and went way above and beyond service to correct and make things right (way more than necessary) The lobster bisque was probably best ever and our Poached Butter lobster and Waygu Ribeye were spectacular. Everything was fantastic and how they took care of us over very minor mistakes, was stellar! We will be back for other special occasions and highly recommend for special dining experience.“

“I think the best way to start this review is to be honest about my obsession and the chokehold this place has on me. It's borderline unhealthy at this point. I can't seem to stay away. LOL. No but seriously, I am completely and utterly in-love with this place. I am a huge sandwich person but so I am particular about where I go. Has to ya know, check alllll the boxes etc. Ernie's has stolen my sammy-heart. I believe I've had every single sandwich on the menu at this point and I enjoyed every single one of them. If I HAD to choose my favorite sandwich, they would be these:
-Italian on Dutch crunch roll
-Crispy chicken caesar on Dutch crunch roll
-Curry chicken salad on focaccia
-Tuna on sourdough ( always add the hot pepper salad)

*I love the dutch crunch roll for any of the sandwiches but the focaccia also steals the show quite often.

I've been here for dinner as well and my recommendations would be:
-Charcuterie board
-Bruschetta boards ( you pick 2) but my faves are the prosciutto one (the prosciutto is chopped up super small so it's perfect and not all stringy like it can be at times) which comes with mascarpone, pistachios, arugula and lemon curd. My other fave is the brie, green apple with honey and sea salt. Another thing to mention is I'm not a huge brie person BUT I adore it if it's triple cream brie. This my friends, is triple cream so it's fantastic.
-The fries are also fantastic and the chocolate chip cookies are fire. I'm not even a sweets person but I inhaled it when I tried it. It was delish.
-Italian chopped salad- so good and really light but somehow filling at the same time. In the best way possible. I get it all the time.

They have a huge wine selection both at the bar and in their fridge section which you can browse while you're in line. They have a wine club as well!

I always love a more local mom n pop type place in general vs chains and this place is just a vibe no matter what time of day you go. The word is definitely out though so it can get busy so cozy up at the bar for a cold one while you wait if you run thirsty like me, ha! Or they have plenty of outdoor seating if you want a nice breeze. The owner is rad, the entire staff is sweet, accommodating and overall they just absolutely nailed it here. Go see what all the hype is about, you'll leave with a full belly and a smile.“

“Rosinas is consistently excellent authentic Italian food. The only food downside ( which is why I gave Food a 4 out of 5 rating), is their Ceaser salad...it is consistently bland, really watery, and tasteless...such an unpleasant surprise given that ALL of the other salads are so delicious, and ALL of the other food is delicious. Rosina, PLEASE update the Ceaser salad..it is really awful.“

“My husband and I have been here for the very first time and we immediately fell in love with this place. The staff is amazing, they know how to treat you and make you feel at home. Alice is very passionate about her job and we loved her homemade desserts sooo much. A special mention to Michele, a very young yet extremely professional waiter, who contributed to create a cozy and pleasant atmosphere! As Italian, I can say it's hard to find place such Alice's where you feel so vividly the warm of our country. We will definitely come back!“

“Crust & Brew is a great spot to chill, watch sports, or get together with friends. Their happy hour deals are great, and everything on the menu has been great! I’ve had the pasta, pizza, and finger foods. Nothing I’ve had has been bad yet.

From the moment you walk in, there’s a genuine sense of community. I met some amazing people and truly felt the family atmosphere that the owners have created. A big part of that comes from the team—Alessa, Reggie, Fernando, Andrew, Connor, Trianna, and Shawn—who were all fantastic: welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaging, making the experience feel personal and relaxed.
The space has a modern wine-cellar vibe, complemented by a really well-curated mix of music. You can immediately tell the owner is hands-on and has a great eye for building a team that fits the culture—friendly, passionate, and never pretentious.

“The fish and chips were delicious! The waitress was very helpful and attentive. Beautiful sunset and ocean views! Only 2 downsides- high noise level and having to pay parking garage fee of $3.00 per 30 mins after the first free hour. I ended up paying $18 for parking.“

Corner Pizza has imaginative blends of fresh spices and ingredients that make each pie a special occasion. Add to that their excellent selection of local craft beers and wines, and it walks ahead of any other local pizza restaurant. Music and a mellow laid back patio tops it off. “A really good Italian restaurant specializing in traditional pizzas with fresh ingredients. We were glad that they had vegan friendly options for one of our guests with allergies. Seafood linguini was tasty and the lamb shank entree was generous and rich. Quiet on a Sunday lunchtime and service was quick and efficient. Will definitely come again!“

“We've eaten at the Mediterranean restaurant many times and love the ambiance, food and service. Very good friends were visiting and we wanted to take them somewhere special to celebrate a birthday. This was the perfect spot. Aaron was our server and he was wonderful. Between the 4 of us, we sipped 2 Hugo Spritzs , 1 Bloody Mary and one beer....all created using their unique recipes and all were delicious. I'd highly recommend any of them. Our salads and sandwiches were tasty but quite large, so either split them or go with a hearty appetite. The venue overlooking the Pacific is gorgeous,the service is outstanding and bar drinks are top notch. You won't be disappointed. Trust me.“
