I actually thought this place was a liquor store in passing. Sally is a great bartender. Very personable and a joy to converse with. There's 3 pool tables and ample room for a crowd.“

Dimly-lit, medium-spaced tables, service is good but a bit overwhelmed when they're at capacity (which is often!). Parking is limited on the street but doable.

Have to say the NYC location is better, but honestly would need to do another visit to confirm. Distinctly remember the self-made hand rolls in particular being quite good in New York and not nearly as memorable here.“

“I absolutely love coming here, the bartenders Grant and Miguel are so unbelievably kind and always give the best recommendations! their drinks are delicious, prices on par for LA bars, and honestly some of the smoothest tequila I’ve ever tried. Grant has the best playlist, a lot of 90s hip hop and r&b, it is the key reason I keep coming here and will continue to do so. My only wish is that they reopen the club section soon, I’d love to have more dancing room. 10/10 all around, give it a try :)“

“The Great White Breakie was delicious, I loved the combination of goat cheese and sourdough. The folded eggs were also really good, especially with the bacon slices. Overall the flavors were really well balanced on this plate, and I enjoyed how you could mix & match the different ingredients to your taste. The Caesar Salad was very good, would recommend adding grilled chicken on the side. We also liked the coffee here, especially the Shaken Iced Latte!

“From the outside, The Airliner looks like a dive bar serving standard dive bar fare. But make no mistake, Chef Vinh Nguyen has created a stunning menu of excellent, creative, and absolutely delicious food!

We had a tasting for my daughter's wedding, and we were served such terrific items as Green Chop Salad (spicy thair dressing), Hunan BBQ pork ribs, Green Curry Crispy Rice, onion noodles, and tater tots with Gochujang glaze.

I forgot to take pictures, but everything looked as great as it tasted.

The next time we are in LA, we look forward to going there for dinner, and we couldn't be happier that Chef Nguyen will be catering our daughter's wedding!“

We ordered 2 coffees a sandwich and a cinnamon roll. The coffees were amazing, the owner made me a custom coffee. I asked for 'Something Sweet' and the drink was so good we ordered a 2nd one. Cinnamon roll was hot, sweet, and cream cheese frosted. Licked the bowl clean! Breakfast Sandwich was made with fresh ingredients and was so tasty! “Sun light hours, this is a neighborhood bar with 50% of patrons being regulars. Staff knows everyone, and it's very welcoming. Come at night if you want a good drink and a loud dive bar. Ever since Ember’s Lounge closed down, this has been my spot. It’s cash only, but there’s a ATM machine there. I love the digital jukebox that allows you to play all kinds of music.
