I was ready to retire my use of Nespresso but assuming the new machine works as it should, they've regained a dedicated customer, thanks to Tony.“

“I was looking for a place to do some studying and a friend recommended Verve. It’s a nice spot to just enjoy some tea and do some reading. There are a lot of people who seemed to be working, and a small group just there to socialize a bit. Everyone seemed respectful of the environment. You can pay for the tea once and get a couple steeps, which I thought was a nice touch. I’ll be back!“
“Everything about this place is great - I walk here from my apartment at least 3-4 times a week to start my day. All of the staff members are wonderful and the coffee is always *chefs kiss*.I feel like the only thing missing is a “sit down” atmosphere. I’ve never had a more flavorful espresso tonic. So complicated yet easily understandable. Their concoctions are carefully and skillfully crafted to give you something you’ve not had elsewhere. For that, they get my seal of approval. I had the Lavender Bourbon Buzz and it is delightful. Really deep espresso flavor with hints of bourbons from the retired bourbon barrels they used, all tied together with a dried lime wedge. I feel like a new world has been opened to me.“

“Came at 8 when they opened before stopping by the flower market. There wasn't anyone here and I possibly though they are running late or wrong hours ? I waited about 10 mins to walk around in hopes someone came and right as I was ready to leave someone came to open, thankfully. I order a chia which was good, the barista was sweet to let me try the concentrate. Their concentration is good not too spicy and has a licorice touch but when it was made into a latte it lost that good flavor. Next time I'd ask for a little more chai but that is my preference I orders an shot of espresso on the side to taste the body and flavor without the mix of the latte.good pulled shot As much as I wanted to only give 4 stars because they didn't open on time, I would be doing wrong because there is not context, maybe an emergency or some business issue who knows but life does happen. “We were around the area doing errands and needed a little pick-me-up. We searched on Yelp and this was close in proximity. Our visit was on a Friday afternoon, around 2ish. We found parking right away on the street. The place was filled and had a short line. We ordered their green peach iced tea and cortado. The iced tea was lovely and it didn't taste bitter. The espresso on the cortado wasn't bitter like other coffee shops we've tried around LA. Even though the place was filled during our visit, there were still tables available. From stepping into the establishment to drinking our drinks, it was probably 10 minutes. The staff are friendly and quick.“
