“THIS IS INSANE! I cant believe i have found this amazing place! Guys i have tried all Mediterranean restaurants all over the Bay Area and trust me there is nothing close to this! You will be impressed by the food portion, quality, and price! I was never being able to finish my order! Long menu full of attractions and satisfying prices! The staff are so friendly and nice, very talented and always smiling, you will also find the owner himself serving and welcoming you with a lot of generosity and hospitality! Not only the food is amazing and quick but the vibes are so charming we always feel ourselves at home! Sorry to make it long but believe me every item on the menu deserves a story! “Ever thought of trying a local small business, family restaurant. The guy who runs this place came from Turkiye in 2008. Settled down in SFO, had a family and is living an American dream.
His only complaint is SFO is expensive. Well we can all agree to that.
Food is very tasty.
We tried falafel wrap, chicken gyro and kids gyro with rice. All of these were of great quality. Plus the Turkish delight was fabulous. Owner shared Turkish tea on the house. Plus I ordered fries in kids meal but it came with rice instead. No worries he added fries and refused to take money for it. Well I made it up in the tip.
If you are south SFO and crave Mediterranean food. This is the place.“

“We travelled from Maryland to experience San Francisco, found this local restaurant within walking distance of our hotel, and decided to give it a try. It was well worth it! The staff was accommodating, attentive and very friendly. The food was exceptional! If you haven’t tried Mediterranean cuisine or love it, this is the place for you!“

“Oh my goodness. Such a gem in the rough. Amazing food in the middle of an industrial area. I'm an old fat white guy, and the meal defeated me. For the first time in a long time, I needed a doggy bag. The Shawarma were delicious as were the pickled veggies and cole slaw. The Arabic coffee was to die for. So rich and thick!“

“Fabulous experience! My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful Valentine's dinner at Presidio Kebab. My wife tried the Yakut red wine from Turkey that was a little sweet and very good. We started with some Greek fries and Baba Ghanosh that were tasty. My wife enjoyed the lentil soup and a Greek Salad. We recommend asking for extra lemon vinaigrette dressing on the side for extra flavor. I had the steak kebab medium and it was prepared perfectly. The service was stellar, friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back:)“

“Gola is a neighborhood gem! The service was amazing. The owner gave us good suggestions to enjoy our meal. Only 3 cocktails on the menu; Sidi-bou was very refreshing and good. The Brika au thon reminded me my home food; amazing! For main course we shared the lamb tajine and jilbena with addition of lamb. Both dishes were delicious. For desert we had the créma that was very tasty. Overall it was a very nice diner with a remarkable service.“

“This Turkish restaurant is outstanding in all aspects! Our dinner consisted of the Meze Combo, which is an excellent selection of their fabulous appetizers, the Lamb Shish Kebab, with lamb that was cooked to perfection, and the Adana Kebab, which was a fine mixture of lamb and beef in a slightly spicy combination. The waiter was very polite and extremely friendly and welcoming, and very attentive to our needs. We thoroughly appreciated his recommendation of the baklava to compliment the excellent meal we had. It had just the right amount of sweetness and a wonderful blend of walnuts and spices. Due to the meal being so exceptional, we came back the next morning for an outstanding breakfast!!! We had the Menemen (Shaksouka) and the American Breakfast. And finished it off with a bowl of their Sutlac - the creamy rice pudding! Delicious indeed! Great waitstaff at both meals! Last night I was particularly appreciative of the excellent care/service they provided to a vegan member of our team. They had thoughtful menu options and cautioned against cross contamination in cooking oil, depending on how strict the person is with their diet. All of this was done discretely, kindly and supportively while also giving everyone else at the table excellent service!“

There was a weird playing music that you can't even understand or be comfortable with. Remember you don't need to play a jazz music because you have to please customers. “The hummus with chopped chicken on top was absolutely delicious. The texture was extremely creamy, almost like mousse, and the flavor was rich and authentic, just like in some of the best hummus places in Israel. I’ve been to Israel and know the food well, and this is the real experience!

The salad as a starter was also very fresh and tasty, and the pita bread was soft, warm, and clearly freshly made. The service was very friendly and attentive, making the visit pleasant from start to finish.

The only small downside for me was that the price felt a bit high for this type of street food, but despite that, I would definitely come again.“

“The food was delicious and so were all of our wines, but unfortunately the servers didn't know how to handle an allergy, which left a bad taste in our mouth about the whole experience. I'm writing a review in hopes management will take training their servers about allergies more seriously! We arrived at 5 PM, so when the person who brought our food out wasn't able to understand what we needed regarding the allergy, there were plenty of staff available that could have helped out. Instead we asked that person 3 times, and then 2 other servers. Only one of the three staff members correctly informed us of the type of nut and understood that we needed new utensils to avoid cross contamination - it was a big distraction to our otherwise enjoyable meal.“

“This place was amazing. The food was fresh, airy and packed with flavor. The restaurant was open and had many unique tables to sit. The service was fast and we received all of our food in under 10 minutes. I ordered the beef kabob platter and it was great. The beef was very tender, I could pull it apart with my hands and it was very flavorful and paired with everything very well. The side cucumber salad was very aromatic and tangy and paired contrasted well with the rice and bread. I put everything in the pita bread and it was amazing. You could tell everything was made freshly with good ingredients. The pita chips were so good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect. The staff were kind and served us very fast. This place needs more hype it’s so good.“

I think I'll get that the next time I go there. This was my first time to this venue, and I definitely want to go back.“
