“The culinary expedition to 'Smoked Heaven' was nothing short of spectacular. Each bite of the tender, slow-smoked brisket melted in my mouth, releasing a symphony of flavors that were both complex and comforting. The smoky aroma, infused with a subtle hint of hickory, enveloped the meat, enhancing its juiciness and depth of flavor. The accompanying homemade BBQ sauce, with its perfect balance of tangy and sweet, complemented the brisket beautifully, elevating the dish to new heights. The sides, particularly the creamy coleslaw and savory baked beans, were delightful, offering a refreshing contrast to the rich, smoky meat. 'Smoked Heaven' not only delivers on its promise of authentic BBQ excellence but also excels in creating an unforgettable dining experience that leaves you craving more.“

“Stumbled upon this spot because my girlfriend and I were looking for a quick take out place. We found parking really close and ordered through a tablet. We got our food in 15 minutes! We got the spam musabis, chicken katsu and bbq chicken plate and the short rib chicken bbq plate. The portions are huge and the service was really nice. They also gave us a stamp card so after ten orders you get one for free! Definitely will be coming back.“

“The food was delicious, the service was awesome (super friendly and helpful), the K pop on the TV was entertaining. I can't say enough nice things and will DEFINITELY be going back next time we are in TOWN and bringing family!Vegetarian options: Just ask for tofu instead of any of the meats. Lightly crisp and yummy!“

“Wonderful place. Definitely not a place for dining in due to limited space but the staff are pretty welcoming. Order pickup and take it home!Food is awesome. I ordered jerk chicken, goat curry and oxtail. All pretty fulfilling. Some spiciness also for all dishes. So watch out for kids!I thought parking was difficult, but actually pretty fine. I saw people just park randomly on the one way street in front of the store. And it works.Definitely will revisit again.“

“By far the best tasting bbq in the Bay Area. Not only is the food great but the staff are ridiculously friendly. Gregory is the nicest guy. When we showed up towards the end of the day he went out of our way to accommodate our order even though they had run out of some of the popular meats and sides.“

“tl;dr: Very solid standard Mediterranean food. Come before noon on weFinally was able to try this place. Came at opening around 11 and the place was empty. By noon, there was a long line so keep that in mind! Nice outdoor space in the front and back. You order online and then they bring out the food. Self service water, hot tea, utensils and to go boxes. Cauliflower: Massive portion and well cooked. Would order again. Halloumi rolls: If fried cheese is your thing, then would recommend. The spiced honey was a nice touch. Street wrap with falafel: Falafel was delicious. Chicken schwarma plate: comes with two sides. Ordered the baba ganoush (yummy) and roasted potatoes (just ok). Pretty large portions. Mint lemonade: Sweet and tart! Mint flavors really come through.“

“This is an interesting place. Have some Japanese dishes on the menu like gyoza and udon.... And contest style skewers .... And Thai ice tea? The Thai ice tea is cute though because they use the teddy bear shaped ice.Skewers are good. The servers bring them out without plates and put them on a hot plate on your table. That's pretty clever. The sets come on its own hot plate.Udon was decent.Decor is a bit weird? It's cool when you first walk in and see the flowers and lanterns and umbrellas hanging from the ceiling but there are a lot of other elements that don't seem to fit together...“

“Our first experience was a small catering order. We got The Big Onion. Everyone agreed the food was very good. The ribs were tender yet juicy. The tri-tip was surprisingly tender for a catering tray. The beans had nice chunks of meat and good flavor. Overall I'm impressed with the value. They didn't skimp on the food either. There was plenty for 11 people and the description said it could feed 10-12.“

“You will not be disappointed with the brisket sandwich. I lived in Memphis for 8 years and worked at a bbq restaurant for 3 smoking meats. This brisket was cooked to perfection, but this is the thing when I ordered I was not asked if you would like anything on the sandwich and I was too busy to remember to ask to have coleslaw put on top. Because it the meat was fabulous and the hot bbq was delicious but it was missing some veggies. I think they should ask if you want it on it, it’s so much better that way. I got the Mac n cheese side and I loved the cheese and the flavor all bomb. Food 5/5 service 3.5/5 atmosphere 3.5/5 it’s kinda like a dinner inside but small, although clean and pleasant. It is cool looking on the outsideParking: Easy parking“

“Dont miss a visit here. Lovely food with ample very fresh veggies and condiments. We enjoyed giant prawns with kung pao sauce, beef pho and teriyaki chicken (low sodium option is flavorful with a delicate sauce). All wonderful and plenty left to take home. We lunched at the patio cafe tables under umbrellas. Proprietor was fun and engaging too.“

“Regular spot when I'm in the bay. Long wait time is normal during dinner. Just make sure you check and join the waitlist on yelp. Lots of options for AYCE. The food came out insanely fast just a couple of minutes after taking the order with the pad.Lastly, it's 2024 and still a bunch of uneducated peeing on toilet seats #SMH #animals“

“Really great pub. Nice dive bar feel without the fear of hepatitis. The key to this place is their craft beer. It's all made just down the street at ECR's tap room, which is also very cool. Prices are reasonable. Food looked okay even though i just had beer. Speaking of the beer, this stuff is great. I'm so sick of being punched in the face with "all the hops i can fit into this beer" kinds of beer. It's like in the Midwest they think, "If i add more cheese, it'll be better!" No, it won't. Just like, "If I add more hops, it'll be better!" No, it won't. These folks know what their doing. Their beer has the proper balance of bitter and floral, and you still get touches of malt. It's a beer a German would happily drink warm. We sang karaoke, which my friends hate, but i love it. They could only tolerate my screeching because the beer is so good. Stop in and have a pint.“

“Tried the soft tofu (fish egg) for the first time and was amazed with it. Also the supplement dishes on the table were amazing without exception. Note: medium spice is good enough, anything higher might overwhelm you but decide for yourself of “

“I love this place as it offers one of the best Selections of Sizzling plates. You may choose your own type of meat (chicken-beef-fish with a side of veggies) or add on an appetizer.I also loved their hawaaiian plate with BBQ galbi, rice and macaroni. My ultimate favorite here is Beef Kimchi sizzling plate, calamari, walnut shrimp and crispy chicken, mango green tea, basic crispy french fries, etc.But im not a fan of potstickers though.Plus this place is super clean, with a clean bathroom as well.Servers are very attentive and approachable.I will definitely try other snacks and dish next time“

“We were not the most organized group of people when we came here. No one knew what they wanted we were a decently sized group and it took a while to get everything explained and handled. Their treatment of us was amazing they seemed to go out of their way to assist us and to be patient with us. The food was good I would definitely highly recommend coming here! Again the service was top-notch the kind of service that I appreciate when I go out to eat! Keep up the great work and if you are in the area go visit them!“

“Seafood Tofu is pretty good. I always get spicy for my soup and they make it spicy enough for the kick and not overpowering. The broth had the right taste of the cooked seafood of shrimp and clams. They add on egg that pretty much cook though so breaking the yolk wasn't possible. Maybe I'll ask them to stir it next time or leave it out. It comes with purple rice and add an order of spicy cucumber cause I didn't see Kim Chi on machine to order. I'd definitely be coming back.“

“When I need a break from cooking, L&L is one of my favorite places to order from. This location is my favorite! I've been ordering here for more than 6 years. My favorite combo to order is the BBQ Short Ribs & the Garlic Basa Fish. I always ask for specific instructions on how to cook my food and they get it right every time! I appreciate their efforts, always. Alvaro, Alex, Carlos, Moises, Gessica, Monse and Brenda are friendly staff. I appreciate the ambiance they provide.“

“Oh what a find!! We've passed by this place so many times but never had the chance to go in. This time we did and boy was it worth it! Great knowledgeable hosts with a sense of humor that goes hand in hand with the ambiance. Food was delicious! We ordered a full rack of ribs and they were probably the best we've ever tried (sorry Texas). My Old Fashioned drink was perfect - just the right amount of sweetness and balanced alcohol. We are definitely coming back again and again.“

“Surprised at how good the food was. We tried this place many years ago after a trip to Hawaii expecting it to be the same as we got in Hawaii. I remember at that time we didn't return because it wasn't the same (probably not surprising). My son said he wanted to go here for dinner and I reluctantly agreed. This time I enjoyed the food and liked the reasonable price. I got the "BBQ beef" and want to go back for the chicken katsu. I didn't have the same expectation about the food that I did with our first visit many years ago. Whatever type of food (cooking style) is served at L&L it's tasty in its own right.“

“Small chain BBQ. I still love it. If you like American BBQ, you'll like it. Everything is great on menu. Great place for burgers. Great ribs and other traditional BBQ dishes. Great sides. Good for take out or dine in. Fast for dinning in since there's no waiters and you pick up your own food. A few TVs on the wall. Big portions of food. A few BBQ sauces with condiments.“

“This place is really nice. It's not perfect, but it's good for the price; the food is good, and the service is nice. You can get your own banchan (sides) but it's not always the same banchan available (and again, ymmv when it comes to quality depending on your taste). My favorite cuts are the pork belly (we really like the Hawaiian Pork Belly and the Garlic Pork Belly), pork jowl (cheek), and beef bulgolgi (again, the Hawaiian one is great). Also good are the shrimp and the baby octopus, we had both the regular and the spicy for both seafood.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at an amazing Mongolian BBQ restaurant and it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and friendly service. The restaurant had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with beautiful decor and comfortable seating. The highlight of the evening was the Mongolian BBQ itself. The selection of fresh ingredients was impressive, with a wide variety of meats, vegetables, and sauces to choose from. The chefs were skilled and attentive, cooking each dish to perfection right in front of me. The flavors were absolutely incredible, with each bite bursting with deliciousness. What really set this restaurant apart was the attention to detail and exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every guest was well taken care of. They were knowledgeable about the menu and gladly provided recommendations. The wait staff was prompt and attentive, making sure that our glasses were always full and our needs were met.Overall, my experience at this Mongolian BBQ restaurant was truly unforgettable. The combination of delicious food, exceptional service, and inviting atmosphere made it a 5-star experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates great food and outstanding hospitality. I can't wait to go back and experience it all over again!~Sincerely a group of 6 food lovers!“

“It was the bbq skewers on the menu that intrigued me and made me want to come here, though it has no weekday lunch, my usual opportunity to go out. It's a plain small dining room with tables and a counter. You order as with dim sum; there's a paper order sheet on your table, on which you mark how many of each you want. I found a total of six skewers of various meats, plus one side vegetable, made a satisfying small meal. The whole collection came on one plate, with chopsticks that weren't really very successful at sliding the meat off the wooden skewers; I picked the skewers up and gnawed the meat off. Consistent seasoning on all the contents; I'd asked for mildly spicy and that's what I got. Quality of the food was good. It's the casual-snack aspect of eating here, plus the limited hours, which are the biggest minuses in my eyes. For what it offers, it's good.“

“For those who've lived in the South Bay (Santa Clara/Sunnyvale) you know how much of a staple this BBQ chain is. I stopped by this restaurant during a business trip to relive out my childhood. Nothing about this place has changed, in a good way! Let's break it down Service You order your food at the front, but can also have someone come to your table and order. Everyone is nice and welcoming, and will help you order if you feel overwhelmed by the amount of choices. Ambiance It looks and feels like your neighborhood bbq restaurant, with matching music chairs and tablecloths. They have light rock or country playing in the background and it's not too loud in there. I went during lunch time and there were guests sprinkled about the tables. Food The food was amazing! It was cooked to perfection, and you can choose from many bbq sauces available. I ended up getting the pork beef and chicken, with corn bread and potato salad. Their potato salad was to die for! The only thing that I guess I was shocked by was the price. My meal came out to around 6 dollars after tip, and I thought it would be closer to 30. All in all, I give this spot a 4/5 would recommend!“

“My lab mates and I came here for lunch as part of our exploration to try all the various restaurants on campus. This restaurant has quite the selection of BBQ (including some vegetarian options!) and even several beer options both on tap and bottled. Quite funny there's alcoholic options at a restaurant on Stanford's campus considering that Stanford's football stadium doesn't sell any alcohol at all!I opted for some classic options, so I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with a side of fries. For the price, the sandwich was incredibly large and filling. It was packed with a generous amount of both pulled pork and cole slaw. The pulled pork was decent, but the bbq sauce present added immensely to the flavor. They also provided quite a lot of fries as well, and it made for a very filling lunch experience - one of better food options on campus! Cost:-Pulled pork sandwich = $10-Side of fries = $5“
