“The burrito was okay. The good is the size — it’s pretty big. The bad part is the taste for me. The chicken had too much BBQ sauce and wasn’t fresh I think. I didn’t finish it because it was very mid. Nachos were good. I think if you are in between choices at that place, get something but burrito because my colleagues got other food and liked it more.“

“By far my favorite place to eat on campus, if not in all of Palo Alto. For how affordable it is, the quantity and quality of food you get is unparalleled. My favorite items are the chicken burrito bowl, the Aztec salad, and the pastrami banh mi, all of which are between $11 and $12 after tax. Oftentimes, one burrito bowl will last me lunch and dinner. The staff is great and incredibly efficient. When you order a burrito bowl, you will literally get it 20 seconds later.

“Wonderful experience at Ray’s Grill. Everything was great, we had such a great time.We went there on a Sunday for lunch and the place was empty. “Do you love going to Flavortown? How about dreaming with your eyes open? Then try these birria tacos. The first time I had it was from leftovers that my daughter brought home for lunch. Then I drove from Oakley to San Mateo to have them fresh. It was AMAZING! They provide extra stuff to add to the tacos, but it honestly didn’t need them. The meat was so tender & flavorful that I had to close my eyes so I could fully appreciate the taste. Then I added the extras one by one & it tasted like a new taco each time. I know it seems like I’m exaggerating, but it’s really that good! My only wish is that they had seating nearby & a second location closer to Oakley.“

“Great customer service. Fresh Salsas, every day they told me. The place is great for lunch or dinner. I had a chicken burrito. It has sour cream and guacamole rice and beens. It was good! They tell me that the wet burrito is good. After they Wrap the burrito they add cheese on top after it's been wrapped and then they add a special sauce the one they use on enchiladas and then they put it to bake so the outside cheese melts. Sure sounds tasty I would say!“

“I'm gonna really regret letting everyone know about one of my favorite spots cuz then it's gonna be popular, BUT I can't hide this one, not only do I want to see their business thrive, but I have to tell the community about the savings to be had with this place. In a world 🌎 full of 75 dollars for 2 burger meals, we have La Mexiqueña, I can get 2 Super quesadilla plates, it's called Super Quesadilla on the menu but trust me, it's a plate, you get your delicious authentic rice and beans, your yummy salad with avocado, lettuce and tomatoes, and a big ol' quesadilla with your meat (or no meat) choice, it comes with corn or flour tortilla, the corn tortilla one is aaaamaaazing. Big slices of quesadilla loaded with cheese also. So let me tell you, I got 2 of those orders okay, plus a tall size Mexican Coke... 34 bucks, ahahahahaha, 34 bucks!!!! And it filled us uP! And though one doesn't normally expect anything special from counter order service, here the staff is always kind, attentive and generous with servings.

I'm a fan of the tostada bowl but the menu has got ample variety including limited but solid vegetarian options.“

They're parked up on the curb where the car wash is so no parking lot but you can park on the street but be careful when crossing because people drive a bit reckless in the area and aren't paying much attention.
