“The burrito was okay. The good is the size — it’s pretty big. The bad part is the taste for me. The chicken had too much BBQ sauce and wasn’t fresh I think. I didn’t finish it because it was very mid. Nachos were good. I think if you are in between choices at that place, get something but burrito because my colleagues got other food and liked it more.“

“By far my favorite place to eat on campus, if not in all of Palo Alto. For how affordable it is, the quantity and quality of food you get is unparalleled. My favorite items are the chicken burrito bowl, the Aztec salad, and the pastrami banh mi, all of which are between $11 and $12 after tax. Oftentimes, one burrito bowl will last me lunch and dinner. The staff is great and incredibly efficient. When you order a burrito bowl, you will literally get it 20 seconds later.

“Wonderful experience at Ray’s Grill. Everything was great, we had such a great time.We went there on a Sunday for lunch and the place was empty. Service was good as well and super quick.We got a poke bowl, fries, wings, sandwich and a butter squash salad.The nachos were awesome loaded with cheese and guacamole. “Fantastic. We’re here from out of town and chose to eat here based on the reviews for good tacos. As we approached the restaurant my brother stared, “oh it looks like a house. This is going to be good,” and he was right. This is now our 3rd time eating lunch here in 8 days. First 2 trips we enjoyed the street tacos and today we ordered the torta. Can’t go wrong with any of the meet selections but my favorite is the al pastor.

We’ll be back to Palo Alto and that means coming back to Taqueria La Cazuela. Thank you for the great food and wonderful experience.“

“This is a delicious spot to swing by and pick up a Cali Borito 😋. They put avocado and chipotle sauce on mine. I loved it. Salsa was good, and they have a nice shaded spot to sit down and enjoy the food. My borito and large glass bottle Coca-Cola was $19.“

“Do you love going to Flavortown? How about dreaming with your eyes open? Then try these birria tacos. The first time I had it was from leftovers that my daughter brought home for lunch. Then I drove from Oakley to San Mateo to have them fresh. It was AMAZING! They provide extra stuff to add to the tacos, but it honestly didn’t need them. The meat was so tender & flavorful that I had to close my eyes so I could fully appreciate the taste. Then I added the extras one by one & it tasted like a new taco each time. I know it seems like I’m exaggerating, but it’s really that good! My only wish is that they had seating nearby & a second location closer to Oakley.“

They tell me that the wet burrito is good. After they Wrap the burrito they add cheese on top after it's been wrapped and then they add a special sauce the one they use on enchiladas and then they put it to bake so the outside cheese melts. Sure sounds tasty I would say!“

“It's one of the best Mexican food restaurants in the area. They offer many home style cooked meals, but I usually go on the weekends to eat their beef barbacoa. They serve it in tacos or as a stew in a bowl to which you can add the salsa, onion, cilantro and lime. In addition they provide hand made tortillas which is the best way to have it. With great service and ambiance it no wonder people keep coming back for more.“
