“This is an unassuming little place in Washington St. near the main drag of Murphy Ave. There were lots of Pho options, along with starters and more solid dishes. We went for the Pho because we were trying to shake the last effects of annoying colds. To quote my wife, the chicken option was Photastic! Very savory and flavorful with the regular add ins like bean sprouts, jalapenos, basil and onions.
The setting was basic but upbeat, and holiday tunes played while we are. The server was friendly and attentive and made suggestions to help us choose from the menu.
To those who say the meals are pricey, we paid about $50 for the both of us with the Pho, eggrolls and tip, but we got two meals out of it, and the soup apparently takes 16 hours to fully prepare. Definitely recommend.“

“Bowl of Pho has been the hidden treasure of Pho spots here in Sunnyvale/Cupertino. My wife and I love their Pho bowls both Beef and Chicken styles, they’ve always delivered high quality food. Our favorite side dish has been their Fried Egg Rolls which are STUFFED! And the Thai Teas have been sweet and delicious! Definitely our go to place.“

“10/5/2024
The Pho Cabin
200 State St
Los Altos, CA 94022
I went there for an early bowl of Pho on a Saturday evening and got seated immediately. It's a cozy street corner location with a clean table and chair setup. We have tried to dine here before but there was always a line to get in and at least a 15 minute wait time. The menu fits on one side of letter size paper and the beef selections featured only lean cuts.
I ordered the Brisket Pho which was brought to me promptly. The beef was indeed lean and plentiful. The broth and noodles were good, nothing special.
Service was great and I guess it's popular for the lean beef selections with the wait times due to the limited seating. I prefer fattier cuts so I'll repeat if Wifey insists. Free city lot parking is nearby and usually available.
Parking: City parking lots are available but can be difficult during high times.“

“This was my favorite pho place for a few years! I brought my family and friends visiting the bay area too. Recently, however, the quality of the food dropped pretty noticeably, especially with the amount of ingredients (eg meat) in the pho decreasing significantly for the same price/ increased price. I understand things are all getting more expensive, but the core ingredient to decrease so much for me to notice and impact the flavors is quite sad. I hope they can revisit to return to the amazing pho they used to serve!“

“My favorite pho place in the Bay Area. I've tried most places around Stanford and Mountain View, but this place is my favorite. The vibes are amazing and the staff are very kind. Of course, it goes without saying that their pho is delicious and is a very sizeable portion. Also, their lychee drink it my favorite boba drink . . . even compared to Teaspoo and Yi Fang.“

“Great combo beef Phô (all the good stuff, including tripe and tendon), a large amount of meat, plus your choice of noodles... I got egg noodles and loved it.
Served in under 5 minutes...
... Huge bowl, delicious ? broth.
Considering how expensive going out to eat is today, this is the best phô deal around.
I highly recommend this restaurant... It deserves a higher score on Google.“

“If you’re looking for a place with authentic Vietnamese cuisine, you’ve found it. The people here are kind and genuine. I have nothing but positive things to say about the culture they bring to this area. Do not miss out on an opportunity to eat here. Especially if you’re from out of town!
Kid-friendliness: They don’t mind kids. All types of families here.
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s all tables you can remove the chair from and put a wheelchair“

“Food was delicious, almost authentic. Service was really great. I have a food allergy so our waiter made sure he got the right broth substitution and told us other options that worked for me. I tried the seafood pho with chicken broth. It was just right. My friend got the bahn mi and it was quite big! Crispy bread, tasty with a generous amount of meat and veggies. Would definitely come back.“

“A pretty decent family owned Vietnamese restaurant. It’s been a while we saw traditional dripping coffee, so we really liked it. The taste was authentic. For the food, we ordered one Shrimp spring rolls, one Grilled pork ball spring rolls and one Pho Tai. Pho was decent, the broth was just okay. The other two dishes were good. But, I agreed the price was quite expensive compared to other Vietnamese restaurants I have tried.I think they kinda lack of staff because one lady took the job of waiter + cashier + preparing drinks, one uncle served food and cleaned up tables, and there seemed to be only one chef. Thus, it took a bit of time for food to be served. But, the lady was very nice. She chatted with us for a bit while serving our drinks and during checkout.
Kid-friendliness: Kid’s high chairs and plastic utensils“

“When I need warm comfort food, this is my go-to. That's usually during a tough work day and I need to get away from the office for some pho. I call ahead and it's ready when I arrive for pickup. They package it well so it won't leak, the noodle and veggies are separate from the broth, and it's piping hot. My favorite dish is vegetarian pho. The portion is huge so I usually eat half and save the rest for the next day. I love it!
Vegetarian options: Mostly meat/seafood dishes but you can find lots of tofu options. Good for gluten-free with their rice noodle dishes.“

“Every clean and elegant Pho restaurant, we order their best popular Pho which is tasty and large enough for 2 kids to share 1 large size. The receipt didn’t clearly explain about No 11 that is Vegetarian Pho. My Daughter ordered it. I split some meats to her. She said it is ok. Environment is great, suitable for friends and family gathering here.“

“The baguette sandwiches are the stars here. Banh mi combination sandwiches are very good. The baguettes are baked in house throughout the day. They have a good crunch and texture, but not a deep flavor complexity. They have a lot of other items on the menu, but haven’t tried them yet.“

“This used to be a Burger King but is now a super cute pho restaurant! I love the interior so much, and the seats are comfy.
The staff is super friendly and prompt. Make sure to bring cash so you can tip them as they don’t allow electronic tips. (This is also a note for myself as I didn’t have cash when I came.)
I got the vegan pho but added chicken. There were large portions of veggies and chicken in the soup! The noodles were very bland and kind of soggy and the vegan broth is too bland for my taste but I will probably request a different broth next time.
Nice little spot I will probably come by again if I am in the area :)“

“This is our go-to Pho spot in all of Mountain View/Palo Alto/Los Altos. We think it’s the most authentic and tastes just like what my husband’s Vietnamese mother makes at home. Broth is light yet flavorful. Portions are generous. The side of toppings is appreciated! Service is very no fuss and quick.“

“Pho Little Saigon is a cozy spot for a hearty winter lunch. Their large pho bowl of PHỞ BÒ VIÊN TÁI (beef balls and rare steak), paired with a Soda Chanh, is a perfect combo. The broth is rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying, while the portions offer an excellent meat-to-noodle ratio, ensuring every bite is balanced and hearty. The service is quick, though table cleanup can occasionally lag. Seating is self-serve, and clean tables are generally available. At around $20 for a large bowl, the price feels fair for the portion and quality. A great place to warm up and enjoy comforting Vietnamese cuisine.“

“My favorite pho ga. You know it's good when it doesn't need to be meddled with. The broth bursts with great flavor content. Best thing, they don't use msg! No bloat, no headache. Maybe just a little bit more thirsty, likely from the sodium content. They attain maximum flavor, but I'm a simple girl. Most if not all of their staff is vietnamese so sometimes you'll get a limited response, but to your advantage the food is authentic in that same way. They're super, super kind and service is quick. Place is clean, peaceful. My only complaint is that the spray they use to clean tables off is way too strong and it's a bit unpleasant if it's while you're eating. Otherwise, this is definitely my go-to, without a doubt.“

“I stop by here when I'm in town every year or two and it's still one of my favorite places. I like Bambu Favorite but Bambu Combo is nice for when I want a little chaos in my drink (basically a little of everything). I like the crunchy red tapioca, refreshing herbal jelly, chewy pandan jelly, sweet milky blend of coconut and scoop of finely crushed ice.
The Bambu in my area closed down so I'm glad I can still have some here. The ambience has changed a lot since I was last here, but it's still a vibrant and unique hangout.“

“This place is excellent! All food is made fresh so all customizations are possible. We are vegetarian and they were able to accommodate with no fish sauce in curries and pad Thai. I highly recommend the eggplant dish. Service was great, the waitress is kind and hasn't messed up an order a single time we have visited.
Vegetarian options: They have lots of options for vegetarians. Normally Thai food has fish sauce in curries, but they are able to remove it because they make everything fresh“
“It's hard to describe how great this place is, I have been there twice and this is the valentine day lunch. Notice the little details, tiny mint leaves on one piece, tobiko on another. Everything is fresh and pops with flavor. You can really tell they care about the food they put out. If this was a regular restaurant in Belmont there would be lines out the door every day.“

“Stanford in campus counter style cafe offering a blend of Southeast Asian flavours. One has to lower expectations given that this is within the university and caters to a diverse set of diners, so the tastes are milder vs the local Asian staples. A good representation nonetheless of Asian cuisine. The dining area is soley outdoors but relatively clean and provides a good campus spot to have ones meal and to meet up. No toilets available.
Vegetarian options: Counter style gives you options but ask servers on specific ingredients used
Parking: Stanford University parking system in effect while free parking lots are further situated with the use of free shuttles
Kid-friendliness: Ample options for kid's tastes
Wheelchair accessibility: Spacious seating outdoors but ordering has to be done by counter“
