“My husband was craving Teppanyaki so we came to Yamato on a Saturday night and it was pretty crowded but since we really just wanted the food and didn’t necessarily want to see the “show” we were seated pretty quickly at a nice spacious booth. The servers were very friendly and attentive. We got the hibachi steak and shrimp and the hibachi steak and scallops which were both delicious. The fried rice was extremely flavorful and the portions are generous. The side of veggies was absolutely amazing. The price point is also very good. Some teppanyaki restaurants are extremely overpriced and Yamato is priced fairly especially for how much food you get. The atmosphere is fun and lively and perfect for celebrating birthdays, graduations, etc.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly atmosphere. High noise level for babies but very fun and lively for littles.“

“Just had dinner at this restaurant with my two sons. We had Tonkotsu Black, Tonkotsu Shoyu and Teriyaki Chicken Bento. Service was prompt, prices were good and the food was delicious. I didn't know we had good quality Ramen in Santa Clarita. We'll be back for sure.“

“First time coming here and it was delicious! Tried the short ribs, chicken kebab, beef kebab, and shrimp kebab. All of it was really good, but the short ribs were my favorite, then the shrimp. The hot sauce on the shrimp works really well together. The plates come with plenty of rice, small salad, a potsticker, an onion ring, and some sort of sweet crispy wonton. We ordered in person to go and the order didn't take too long, a little less than 10 minutes I think.“

“My kids love ramen so we came by to check it out. They had so much fun picking thier packet from the wall, cooking it and adding the toppings. The staff was so friendly and accommodating!

The kids picked a mild ramen and it was perfectly spicy. We got a couple sushi rolls that were also delicious. We will definitely be back!“

While there appeared to be other food options in the area, I decided to give this place a try.I ordered their beef dish with noodles. It was a little pricey and they did charge me a fee for using my card. But when the food finally came, it was really good. Very flavorful and quite a big portion. The meat wasn't all gnarly either, which is always a concern when ordering beef.One thing to keep in mind is that their menu in not that big.They did say that they've been open for about 4 months or so. I hope that this place makes it. There were not a lot of customers in here when I visited. They do seem to be more of a carryout type place though. And I also visited in the morning when it first opened.Overall, this place does have a few minor flaws, but the food is good quality and the portions are pretty large.“

It's plenty of food and the katsu was bigger than my hand.It's located at the food court area inside of Galleria market so it's an easy spot to go in and get lunch. Parking lot can get full but at 2pm on a weekday, there was plenty of parking.I've ordered from here multiple times and haven't been disappointed. Great spot“

“The store itself felt a little empty decoration wise. They had one waitress working, but she was very attentive. Each table had tablets(ours lost charge) where you could order everything. It's great especially if you are introverted or indecisive and need extra time. If you prefer, they do also have regular menus. The food itself was amazing. They brought every thing out fairly quickly. I highly recommend the shishido peppers for an appetizer. Definitely coming again.“

“Some of the freshest Sushi, Sashimi and Nigiri around, I legit drive 45min to an 1 hr 10 min depending on traffic just to eat here. All you can eat but its not your typical all you can eat. I love the white fish Sashimi and the Spicy Tuna Salad.“

“I ate here yesterday (06/13/2025>11:35am) and really enjoyed the food—it was delicious! However, I was a bit disappointed with the service. The waitress seemed upset and not in the mood to engage. I understand that everyone has bad days, and we never really know what someone might be going through. Still, as a customer, it's always nice to be greeted with a smile—even a small or polite one makes a big difference. A warm welcome really helps set the tone for a good dining experience.

I have been here three times now and it does not disappoint! There are two menus, the full menu the restaurant offers and a paper menu for ordering sushi. I love the sushi and sashimi they have. Each time the waiters were friendly and so were the chefs. You are even able to see them cut and prepare the sushi! The sushi rolls we ordered were so tasty and it was so good. Highly recommend visiting!“

“Omg they have been around for a while now in Saugus, and I have passed by many times thinking that they won't have anything for vegetarian people since it's a sushi spot. Boy, was I wrong! “he food was very good, portions are large. I'm not cool with how they put mayo in the handrolls. The fish is fresh and the service is snappy. There's a nice variety of rolls and dishes on the menu. Unfortunately for me, most of the rolls have Shellfish in them. My friend was happy with the variety. It's a nice, cozy environment good for bringing a date. There plenty of parking in the adjacent lot. Overall, I recommend Sushi Ko.“
