“I don’t know why this place has less than 4 stars? We sat outside and ate lunch here after an 8 mile hike from Mill Valley and the food was really good. I had a Benedict #2 with shrimps and crab and a root vegetable hash. Great stuff! They also have a coffee kiosk/bakery and a more casual menu for take out.“

“What a gem of a restaurant! We unintentionally stumbled upon Bolinas earlier this month while on vacation. When the Muir Woods closed due to the government shutdown, we pivoted, and we are so happy we did. Our party of 8, which they so accommodatingly allowed us to spilt into separate tables for 4 adults and 4 tweens, had the best time on their patio. The service was stellar and warm, the atmosphere was friendly and there wasn't a stranger to be found, and the food was even better than both those combined. Thanks to the whole crew for being the highlight of the day.“

“My family and I recently moved into the neighborhood and stumbled across Redwood Cafe, and it has quickly become one of our favorite local spots. Although they’re only open from 6am–3pm, this is absolutely a place you can’t skip out on.

They offer a great selection of breakfast and lunch options, plus a Greek menu that gives you even more to try. One of our favorite things is that they rotate different soups almost daily—there’s always something new and comforting. The owner, Leo, and his entire staff are truly wonderful and make you feel welcome the moment you walk in.

The cafe itself is small, cozy, and full of locals who clearly love being there—you can feel the happy, community vibe while dining. Redwood Cafe consistently goes above and beyond with customer service. I often bring my mother with me, and they genuinely treat people like family.

We love this place so much that we try to stop by at least once a week. Thank you for the delicious paninis, amazing soups, and the great selection of desserts. We will absolutely continue supporting local businesses like Redwood Cafe!“

It has greasy diner vibes and lacks the airy inviting beach Cafe ambiance, I think they'd make a killing with an image makeover, a few salads on the menu, and an espresso machine. For now I'm charmed by the mom and pop vibes and the good very reasonably priced food. Very hidden gem hole in the wall flavor. I'll be back and I recommend checking it out. Also understated are the beautiful cliff views.“

“We visited the restaurant, my friend, his 11 year old son, and me. We didn't have a reservation, the staff was kind and they invited us to reserve a table and while waiting they invited us to have a few drinks at their bar. We ordered coffee and a juice for the kid, and it was delicious, we waited at the outside patio, that has a wonderful view of Marin County. Once our table was ready, a staff member came to take us to our table and was kind enough to take our cups. The food was great, the staff was always kind, warming, and professional. Definitely I was felt welcomed. My friend and his son had a wonderful time. Plus the place is amazing. This place is worth every penny.“

“Place was a little difficult to find. Google maps a little confused. But stay strong it will be well forth it. Great service from owner & her daughter Breanna & Vicente & the cooks & staff. Excellent food. Very delicious. Great diner with beautiful old school counter. Highly recommended!!“

“Visited on a random Wednesday morning for breakfast and took a seat on one of the two seat tables against the wall. A few other patrons sat along the counter eating and drinking coffee. The place was relaxed, dim, and lovely. The server was perfectly nice and I already had my order decided so in a flash I had a perfect iced tea and my ticket was in a ticket for a corned beef hash combo.

The plate was delicious with big shreds of corned beef, properly cooked potatoes and onions, and the entire eggs Benedict alongside. On the Benedict the yolk was runny and every part of the dish was hot, seasoned, and hearty.

The price was totally fair for what I got, walking out paying something like 25 bucks total and I'd gladly return. Go here to fill up on classics a cut above.“

“Amazing Asian tofu salad! Only issue is I carried out and didn’t see that you have to pay extra for them to mix it. That is bizarre and was super annoying but it is truly addictive and my boyfriend couldn’t stop talking about it. I wouldn’t change a thing except the staff was rude and the salad should be mixed without an up charge!“

“I tried the buffalo wings here and they were amazing! Super crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The sauce was just the right mix of spicy and tasty. You can choose how spicy you want it, which is great. The staff is really nice and the food came out fast. The place has a chill and fun vibe — perfect for hanging out with friends.
