“One of the best Fish and Chips meal ever eaten. Delicious Mint Oreo shakes, too. Busy but understandable for a beautiful afternoon and lunch time, at a place which offers such good food! Right off the beach parking lot with park and seating area, and steps away from the beach itself, Parkside Cafe is a place I fully recommend. Extensive menu helped all in my group feel happy ordering from here. Apparently popular with the local population, too. Fast and professional service. Great beach atmosphere.“

“Had to stop and use the restroom when the freeway got too jammed to wait so, detoured and purchased some giant cookies as away of saying thank you for one, being open in a very commercial area with limited options; two, for letting me use their restroom and three having very reasonable prices and a friendly demeanor.

“Our server and the staff along with the beautiful ambience of the building made this a 5 star experience. Spacious, elegant and views of Mt. Tam were not what I was expecting from a mall parking lot location. The food is pretty good too! I recommend the burger...and the affogato for dessert.“

Food was REALLY good, I got the buttermilk pancakes with chicken apple sausage and Sunnyside eggs and my husband got the bulgogi Benny, everything was cooked to perfection super delicious can’t wait to come here again!“

“Wow this place has great food and reasonable prices, and should really hire a image consultant. It has greasy diner vibes and lacks the airy inviting beach Cafe ambiance, I think they'd make a killing with an image makeover, a few salads on the menu, and an espresso machine. For now I'm charmed by the mom and pop vibes and the good very reasonably priced food. Very hidden gem hole in the wall flavor. I'll be back and I recommend checking it out. Also understated are the beautiful cliff views.“

“Visited on a random Wednesday morning for breakfast and took a seat on one of the two seat tables against the wall. A few other patrons sat along the counter eating and drinking coffee. The place was relaxed, dim, and lovely. The server was perfectly nice and I already had my order decided so in a flash I had a perfect iced tea and my ticket was in a ticket for a corned beef hash combo.

The plate was delicious with big shreds of corned beef, properly cooked potatoes and onions, and the entire eggs Benedict alongside. On the Benedict the yolk was runny and every part of the dish was hot, seasoned, and hearty.

The price was totally fair for what I got, walking out paying something like 25 bucks total and I'd gladly return. Go here to fill up on classics a cut above.“

“Easily one of the best restaurants in town. It's dimly lit and there's a great local vibe about. I guess I'll never not get nervous when an attractive lady sits next to me. I'm just happy that I didn't spill my drink. Maybe if she wasn't so attached to her phone I could have made eye contact. Great Chicken Sammy. “We had friends coming to visit from Arizona and wanted to take them somewhere special for dinner. We heard about the newly reopened Paseo in Mill Valley and decided to try it. We were welcomed by the friendly manager Kevin as we entered. After giving us a tour we were seated in the main dining room by a cozy fireplace. We ordered cocktails along with a charcuterie board and roasted Brussels sprouts. At the recommendation of our knowledgeable waiter Will, my sister and I ordered the beet salad. One of our guests had the Market Green Salad and another raved about her Potato Leek Soup. Wanting to try different entrees we ordered California Halibut, Braised Osso Busco, Mary's Chicken Breast, Rib Eye Steak, and Roasted Duck Breast with orange glaze. The taste and presentation exceeded our expectations. As we were enjoying coffee along with Chocolate Indulgence, a (layered torte) and a Peanut Crunch Bar, Chef Branden approached our table to see how we enjoyed our meal. We all told him how much we enjoyed the food, his beautiful presentation, and the smiling staff. We had a great five star experience and will definitely be back!“

“Amazing Asian tofu salad! Only issue is I carried out and didn’t see that you have to pay extra for them to mix it. That is bizarre and was super annoying but it is truly addictive and my boyfriend couldn’t stop talking about it. “Our family thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Barrel House Tavern, celebrating my son's birthday. The food and drinks were exceptional, the view from our table window was beautiful and the ambience warm and comfortable. What impressed me the most was the support shown by the maître d to his staff. The restaurant was busy but the service did not suffer. The maître d greeted customers, took drink and appetizer orders and checked in to ensure everyone was happy. We already look forward to a return visit.“
