“One of the best dim sum and bao buns I’ve ever had — absolutely incredible! The place is spotless, which is very important to me, and everything looks stylish with a beautiful and cozy atmosphere.
My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Mama Grace. She is such a warm and kind person with an amazing positive energy, and you can truly feel how much she cares about every detail of her place. Thanks to her, I even learned how to properly eat dim sum — gently open it first to let the steam out, add a bit of soy sauce or chili oil if you like, and enjoy it without burning your mouth. It made the whole experience even more special, and I love learning these cultural details.
We also really appreciated that even though the restaurant was about to close, no one rushed us — that level of hospitality meant a lot. As a lovely gesture, we were treated to sesame balls, which I tried for the first time, and they were absolutely delicious. I also highly recommend the chicken bao — it’s amazing.
Thank you for the wonderful food, warm atmosphere, and genuine hospitality. We will definitely be back!“

“I can’t believe I’m writing a review for dim sum on the Westside because for years I basically gave up trying to find it. Usually if you want good dim sum, you’re driving farther east.
I didn’t even know this place existed until a couple of weeks ago. We both love Cantonese food and figured we’d just order a bunch of dishes and see what happened.
The funny thing is I knew after the first bite. If you grew up eating Cantonese food, you know that moment. Everything just tasted right. I even ended up speaking a little Cantonese with the waiter, which was so much fun and something I rarely get to do anymore.
We definitely over-ordered. Har gow, siu mai, chicken feet, chow fun, rice noodle rolls, spare ribs, cucumber salad, BBQ pork buns, sesame balls, egg tarts, Peking duck… I’m probably forgetting something.
The Peking duck was excellent, the chow fun disappeared fast, and we left with enough leftovers for several meals. Honestly, finding authentic dim sum this close to home feels like winning the lottery.
We’ll definitely be back. (We ordered enough for 4 people. I literally wanted to taste as much as I could for the first time)“

“What an awesome little restaurant that popped up here. Was looking to try something new and found this amazing little bao spot. The most amazing thing is how they fry these bao. The bottom is hard and crunchy and the top is soft, making a soup filled bao in either seafood, curry or the standard pork. They sell them in quantities of 6 and 2 to 3 is enough to fill me! Highly recommend a quick lunch or dinner here, you won’t be disappointed in the authentic flavors.“

“Qi Steam Kitchen is so good! We tried several items from the menu, including the chicken wonton soup, chicken xiao long bao, beef noddle soup, beef and vegetable dumplings, scallion pancakes, and pan fried pork bao. All were delicious and came out so quickly! It’s a small restaurant, but there are still several places to sit. There is a small parking lot. The server was very attentive.“

“I sampled their famous xiao long bao, delicious dumplings, savory fried rice and garlic string beans. Each dish was a taste experience, from the delicious dumplings in broth to the perfectly seasoned fried rice. The service is great and the atmosphere is inviting. Don't miss this place for authentic Taiwanese cuisine and unforgettable flavors. It has the taste of home.“

“I haven't been able to try this restaurant since it reopened and I had just the time to do so today. All the dim sum was great, just no BBQ pork buns 😂. The dumplings were thin skinned and tender and tasted similar to what I had in China and the waiters were friendly!“

“Been coming here for as long as I can remember - I suppose as long as this iteration has existed. The H.Way Frontier is a place you’re introduced to early on if you’re below the line film crew in Burbank running with a rigging or art dept./set Dec crew. This storefront carries on the tradition as I’ll often bump into fellow industry crew here.
All that stuff is well and good but the real reason we congregate here is THE FOOD. There are other good Chinese restaurants in LA but this place to me is by far the best. Consistently wonderful, delicious, very good portion sizes and a nice menu variety. It’s quick (15 minutes or less) and the lunch specials are a great deal. I’m not usually this gushy about anything but Frontier Wok Too deserves every bit of praise I can throw at it. If my family is in the mood for Chinese Food there’s only one choice for us and that is right here. With no traffic it’s still a 20 minute drive one way but it’s worth every minute once we’re sitting down to eat it. You can’t go wrong at Frontier Wok Too. If you haven’t tried it you simply must and you can be the judge.“

“Handmade with love. Tastes as if I'm at my Halmoni's house. Delicate, real and subtle Korean flavors of my childhood, not too sweet or salty. My bf and I ordered the steamed veggie dumplings, chive pancake ((better than my Sumo's! Shhh)), king sized veggie dumplings, side of rice and miso soup. Cooked to order -- be patient. Soft textures. Sweet, hardworking couple. Our fav is the steamed veggie mandu. Vegetarian friendly. Perfect meal. ❤️❤️❤️🎶🎶 I love this place, if I lived in LA I'd be here all the time.“

“Dine here today while on a break from work and enjoyed it so much. Immediately went into my list for favorite restaurants for a casual fast bite. I got the walnut shrimp and it had the best crunch I’ve ever had in this type of dish. My lunch all came along with pancit aka noddles, rice, and a buchi. All for 10 dollars. All delicious.“

“We had the lobster meatballs, egg custard buns, and pork and crab dumplings. The flavors and textures were so interesting and totally scrumptious. Everything was made fresh and brought out piping hot. We've travelled the U.S. extensively and are foodies, so let me tell you this place is a true authentic gem which should not be overlooked.“

“We’ve been coming to Green Apple Bistro since before my grandkids were born, and now they’re already 9 years old—that’s how long this place has been part of our family tradition.
The food is consistently great, and the service is always excellent. One of the main reasons we keep coming back is Eddy, who always gives us the best service. We genuinely look for him every time we visit because he makes us feel so welcomed and taken care of..Even though we live about a 45-minute drive away, we never mind the trip because it’s always worth it.
We’ll definitely keep coming back for many more years.“
