“Pretty good! The dan dan noodle tasted great. The wonton soup was okay and the beef roll was a little lacking on meat. The Taiwanese sausage seemed a bit small for $7 but was pretty good.
Overall very reasonable prices and the food is pretty decent.“

“Lee’s cafe is a Taiwanese-style cafe with a hint of Hong Kong sparkle, serving the perfect mix of Taiwanese and Hong Kong food. The toast is absolutely marvelous, and I truly believe it is worth every penny. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the other dishes. The sesame cold noodles were good, but missing something—I felt they didn’t quite hit the mark. The wontons were delicious, but the braised pork belly rice was your typical run-of-the-mill rice. Nothing terribly special, but delicious nonetheless. The HK milk tea, however, leaned very watery and missed the signature strong tea taste of a HK milk tea.
Also, their bathroom sink was broken and put as a “use at your own risk”. Hopefully they have fixed this since my visit!
Yet, through all this, I would still return to Liu’s kitchen—for their toast!“

“Wow this place was so good! This was my first time here was recommended by a coworker! Wow my taste buds were so happy I ate here. Flavor in every bite. I also had an old fashioned here and I was thinking about that drink for 2 days! I would tell you run don’t walk run and grab a seat and eat here whenever you get a chance.“

“Ordered the beef noodle soup and try their Hong Kong style French toast. Their beef was super tender, and they definitely did not skip all the meat. The broth was definitely on the saltier side, but the vegetables added a nice crunch. The French toast was delicious, and the custard was so super warm and gooey, and paired with the crunchy toast it was perfect. they were pretty busy even when they were about to close, but the staff was friendly and still found a seat for us.“

“There was a 30 min wait that ended up being about 15 mins. Everything we ordered came out pretty fast and tasted amazing! The chicken dumplings were filling and comes with a tasty sauce. The Oxtail Noodle soup was delicate and tasteful as well! My favorite was Black Pepper Beef plate! I confirmed That’s what I smelled while walking past the restaurant on a previous day! 5 out of 5 stars“

“I randomly found this place when I was in the area. The restaurant itself is very cute and clean. The service was superb, we got seated right away and got our water right away. We ordered the noodles, XLB and popcorn chicken and cucumber salad. The XLB was so juicy and I didn’t expect a stream to shoot out from my mouth from the first bite into the XLB. Thankfully I didn’t hit anyone with the XLB juice. I will be back to try other dishes.“

“Everything I’ve had here is the best version I’ve had of that dish. Mapo tofu (and its amazing over fries), dan dan noodles, beef noodle - it’s all amazing. More people need to come here and support this amazing local food joint. Everything on the menu comes vegan or has an egg option (but vegan is default). Updated from previous review on 2026-09-12“
