“Food was great, definitely would go back again. We got kungpao tofu, family style green beans and crispy tofu. Unfortunately, there were no dine ins, chairs are up on tables and its take out only, which is a bummer, but they had a cool metal peacock in the entrance.Vegetarian options: Can get almost anything in tofu“
“Went there by mistake from YELP directions and glad I did. Tucked into a corner I would not have noticed, the plain outside totally fooled me with a Very nice interior, great staff, friendly customers that formed a line before it opened, and fresh food that tastes like Chinatown to me. The Mongolian BBQ is fast and very tasty! One of those unexpected pleasures that has been a neighborhood icon for 30-plus years. I'll go back frequently. Lots to eat, quality, healthy food and good prices!“
“This review is for my catering order on 11/26/22. I ordered the 18-22 person meal deal (3 entrees and 3 sides). The food was done and ready for pick up on time. It was fresh and DELICIOUS!! Guests were also very pleased with the food. I will definitely continue placing catering orders with this location.“
“We literally just walked out of lunch after walking in admittedly for food out of convenience, as we were getting our dog's teeth cleaned a few doors down and needed something to eat. The presence of Ma La Xiang Guo on the menu (and the owner's comment that the chefs are from Sichuan) caught our attention, so we ended up ordering a Beef Xiang Guo. We neglected to specify the spiciness, so it came out pretty spicy--too much for the wife (who isn't very tolerant), satisfying for me (who will gladly sacrifice his intestines in pursuit of spice he will feel every step of its journey through his body). The spice did not overwhelm the rest of the sauce, which had a pleasant, herby flavor to accompany the crunch of the lotus root and woodear. I don't know how authentic it was but I certainly found it delicious. We also ordered their green beans with eggplant. I'm used to this recipe being spicy, but either the Xiang Guo masked the spiciness or it was a very mild variant (suiting my wife just fine). It also had the crunch I expect to accompany the green beans, as well as the garlicky flavor we enjoy with these veggie dishes. Lastly, given the sudden downpour of rain, we ordered the corn and chicken soup, which was exactly the mild we were looking for--the right amount of salt, corn, and chicken in broth--to offset the bold flavors of the Xiang Guo. My wife enjoyed their bubble tea as accompaniment, but unfortunately it's a fixed sweetness, which meant this sugarblood couldn't enjoy one as well. But they're a restaurant, not a boba joint, so that's understandable. They also threw in a dessert which my wife seemed to enjoy, but I can't find the equivalent on the menu offhand. Their portions were generous enough that these three dishes were more than enough for two to eat, and we had to get takeout containers for the return trip. We're not up in Vacaville much, and if it we didn't need to have our dog's teeth cleaned, we probably wouldn't drive the hour and a half it took to get here specifically for this place. However, we will look forward to eating here and further exploring the menu whenever we're in the area.“
“siomai was so good…But the best was the service, an elderly couple came in and they both looked unsure on how to order, the male cashier approached them and asked them to have a seat and instead of making them stand in line to order, they served the elderly couple from their table. Very rare nowadays to see this and to see this from a very young man was very impressive. These 2 male cashiers’ parents should be very proud to have amazing kids and the owner of this location should be very blessed to have these kids. More power!“
“I was invited for a birthday here. It was my first time to experience to try Mongolian BBQ. You pick all raw meats, vegetables and seasoning. It was good experience. Thank you to the lady server, she is very nice and friendly. A little restaurant outside Travis AFB and next to gas station. Parking is always available.“
“Totally surprised to be able to get some good Chinese food in Fairfield. I always worry about going to an Asian spot and seeing only forks on the table. We had beef chow fun and a chicken with string beans and both were tasty and generous portions. Ambiance is basic booths with a couple of tables. I was put off by a racist couple who weren't happy with the waitress' recommendation and wanted the cost removed then as the waitress left, they start making fun of her accent. So ugly. But the restaurant owner/manager handled it well. This place is solid.“
“We don't come here often, but when we do come here for lunch (past two years), the service and food have been consistently good. Usually we order Honey Walnut Shrimp, Singapore Soft Rice Noodle (with chicken and shrimp), or Mongolian Beef. The restaurant might not look much on the outside, but inside it is quite nice. They do have TVs on the wall with some program or other, but otherwise, it's fine. We're not bothered with it and we tend to look up now and then as we eat. LOL Plenty of free parking. Restaurant is next to Safeway and just across is Costco and Fairfield Cordelia Public Library.“
“I gave this restaurant a 4 star review a couple of years ago. I called, today to place an, order of approximately $50,based on what was on the website. The PERSON, a guy told me those prices are not current. Well why in the hell are you doing bait and switch prices. This is your website. BAD BUSINESS!!!!Been a customer for 13 years. I will never go back.“
“Went there with my girl since we were craving some delicious mongolian bbq as the one in Vallejo has closed for some time (Princess Garden). This was DELICIOUS! The price is great and the cooks and host were friendly. It was raining and a lot of homeless set up camp 3 doors over, but they didn't bother anybody. Other than that, great spot and will be going there again!“
