“During these times where Ubereats and other delivery services are king I placed an order through a delivery service but it didnt give me much choices on breads. I know what subway offers but Postmates was only allowing me to pick Italian (boringgggg). So I called and verified with Chris that he would change the bread type to what I wanted (Italian herb and cheese). Little things like that make a huge difference. Also I have attached a note left in our order due to them not having avocados which we paid for in the app. That's customer service! Thank you very much Chris.“

“Defrankos was our first stop on our 12 day vacation from Canada. We got off the flyaway and walked down a few blocks with all of our luggage in tow. The staff were incredibly friendly, they gave us such a warm welcome to California… but beyond that the food was AMAZING. We are currently sitting at the airport going over our trip and all 3 of us agreed the very best food we had on this trip were our 3 subs from Defrankos. ❤️

“Had a hankering for pizza and came here. I ordered a pepperoni, mushroom and onion pizza and sat in my car and absolutely destroyed this thing. It was so good! Nice crispy crust, perfect tomato sauce to cheese ratio and the toppings tasted fresh. Banger of a pizza. ?“

Very busy the whole time we were there. But they were fast and friendly. Prepare for cash only ( no higher then 20's).

They could put a little effort into upgrading the seating area. A relative says it's looked like that since he was a kid about 40yes ago.

“Paulie’s is really good food. I drive by here for work all the time and have never been disappointed. Note: definitely not a budget eatery, but quality is good. One thing I love is that they seem to pay attention to the little details. They have great cold cuts, huge cookies, and even their own drinks.

I’ve also heard him coaching and training others and I can tell he’s an amazing leader. I come by this location at least once a month and always have a great experience.

Parking: There’s street parking all around the intersection, just depends how much you need to walk. Service is usually quick enough that I can put in a quarter for 15 minutes at the meter and I leave well before it runs out.“

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fat Sal's, and it was an unforgettable experience! I ordered the "Fat Jerry" sandwich, which is a glorious masterpiece packed with ribeye steak, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, a fried egg, crisp bacon, grilled onions, melted American cheese, and fries. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors, and it truly lived up to the hype.

The parking is tight although there is underground parking on Verdugo (this location is on Glen oaks & Verdugo). I recommend the tuna or meatball sandwich or steak salad. They also have sides & sweets. I'm sure the menu is like any other Subway although the quality all-around is above & beyond.

“Quality of the food at this location is just like the others. Can't speak to environment because I did a pickup, but it was crowded when I was inside and there were staff making sure dine-ins were taken care of, so no problems with foot traffic.

Service was fast considering I put in my order about 30min before, drove over in <10min, and bag was ready. Didn't have to interact with anyone!

Probably the hardest part was finding parking because this Mendocino is part of the Americana, which is paid garage parking. Street parking is tough due to location.“

“This place was phenomenal. We expected an ordinary sandwich shop and we got gourmet sandwich perfection. Four of us got four different sandwiches and they were all incredible and unique. I had the Milanese and it was amazing. Also, get the fries because they are divine. The presentation was beautiful, the staff were friendly and the strawberry lemonade tasted homemade. “My family and I visited this location yesterday, Antonio took our order, his disposition, and he was very friendly and gave us suggestions. Hubby had a wrap, the elite it's new, I had the Italian herb and cheese foot long bread, and chose #8 garlic with olive oil, honey mastard and garlic oile my veggies, our lil one had kids meal, that was a good deal 6 inch sub, snack, cookie and juice. For the most part, it was tasty. However, too much SALT got from the grilled chicken, not to sure if the bread herb and cheese would have contributed and hubby said same thing SALT, thankfully the veggies helped and I am glad I didn't take the bacon. Subway take that into consideration, wherever you all source your rotisserie chicken from. Imagine eating this daily that sodium, can be a problem, for one, send up a person blood pressure, so be mindful when ordering. Our meal cost altogether $37.15 and he filled it up which was great. We got cookies, as combos are no longer available for the wrap or footlong. It has been a minute since I had a subway like 4 yrs ago. ??‍♀️, so this was news to me. The regular chocolate chip cookie was good. The double chocolate has a brownie taste, too much sugar for me. I would definitely visit again, probably try tuna or meatballs. The large menu offers everything from breakfast to subs, hamburgers and sandwiches, to various plates, including Korean dishes like bulgogi (a marinaded beef dish). I highly recommend the pepper steak...a good portion of beef with lots of peppers, a bit of mayo, and cheese. The rolls are nicely toasted, adding to the overall flavor.
