“During these times where Ubereats and other delivery services are king I placed an order through a delivery service but it didnt give me much choices on breads. I know what subway offers but Postmates was only allowing me to pick Italian (boringgggg). So I called and verified with Chris that he would change the bread type to what I wanted (Italian herb and cheese). Little things like that make a huge difference. Also I have attached a note left in our order due to them not having avocados which we paid for in the app. That's customer service! Thank you very much Chris.“

“This is BY FAR one of my favorite sandwich spots in Los Angeles!

Everything about the sandwiches here is absolutely perfect - from the perfectly crunchy dutch bread, to the generous toppings and ingredients in each sandwich that is both filling and yet also not overpowering in any way.

It's an unassuming exterior for the most part - but within, the seating is ample for anyone wishing to dine-in.

I've also experienced nothing but the BEST service and friendliness on all of my visits to this establishment.

They have both hot & cold sandos, although my personal favorite remains their main staple - 'The Melrose'!
Delectably delicious with plenty of creaminess, flavor, and texture. Nothing overpowers other ingredients.

Spice level wasn’t too spicy perfect level! Not over powering. Price was very good for the amount of food you get! I got two things and a drink; didn’t even break 17 bucks. The blue cow print theme is adorable. There’s even a little cow you can pose with. I wish you would bring one to Reno now! I’m going to dream about the couscous for years to come.“

My wife just brought me back a Mr. G's (she did it right and got everything on the side that wasn't meat and cheese) and it was still the best Sandwhich I've ever had. It's truly that good. Lived walking distance from this place for a few years over 10 years ago and I'm so happy and not surprised it's still making the best sandwiches in town. All the reviews are correct. While the lot isn’t huge, it’s manageable, and you get one hour free if you let the parking attendant know you’re dining at Mendocino Farms, just a small extra step for a great meal. “We discovered Tasty Town Café by accident when taking our baby to his pediatrician—it’s right in the same building, and the amazing smell coming from the café convinced us to give it a try. Now it’s officially become our little tradition after every appointment!

Parking is easy, the café is clean, and the staff is always so friendly. The food is honestly so good—fresh, flavorful, and made with care. We’ve tried the sandwiches, wraps, and coffee, and everything tastes gourmet, like it’s made with real, handmade love. Even my picky husband is obsessed with their food, which says a lot.

I’ve also heard him coaching and training others and I can tell he’s an amazing leader. I come by this location at least once a month and always have a great experience.

Parking: There’s street parking all around the intersection, just depends how much you need to walk. Service is usually quick enough that I can put in a quarter for 15 minutes at the meter and I leave well before it runs out.“

“Fantastic place with a good variety of food. I enjoyed the fat Jerry, which had delightfully tender steak, crispy chicken fingers and fries, all seasoned perfectly to compliment eat bite! I'll definitely be going back again to try something new. The fat shake #4 with oreos was probably one of the best shakes I've had in a few years, so don't forget to get your shake on while you're there. “First time here yesterday and happy to keep coming back, had the hot pastrami sub and it was seriously good loved the mayo mustard combo with chopped tomato onion and pickles combined and layered generously over the whole sub Also had the Tonys special sub .. lots of fresh and tasty deli meats mortadella hams salamis and again the in-house mustard mayo combo .. awesome sandwich For a side I had the bow tie pasta which was cooked al dente with plenty of the marinated artichoke hearts and a great authentic Italian feel and flavour As this had now developed into leftovers for dinner given the size of it all I took us home a tiramisu for dessert later, and as with everything else well worth the eating Opened in 1979 and still going strong .. it’s easy to see why“

As of right now they brought back the MEAL OF THE DAY which includes 2 cookies or chips with a small drink and if you want a footlong it’s just an additional 3$ which to me sounds like a perfect price and meal.
