“The place it's beautiful on the back has a little place whit plant an tarp so can enjoy outdoor whit a heating system if feel cold and the ambient it's nice for Saturday dinner and the food we'll it's Japanese food it's delicious enjoy“
“The food never disappoints!! I've been going once a week since finding out about this place! The food and price you pay no one can beat it! The service is great too they get you in and out for to go order. And if u do place a to go order online and place it on their website!“
“We have just discovered this place, it is really appreciable that it is halal and offers great flavors from Chinese and Thai cuisines. Especially try the Mongolian, Chow Mein, and Tom Yum Soup. The staff is friendly and the service is very fast“
“Has the potential to be the best Chinese food in the valley but they suffer from terrible inconsistencies. Dining in is really your only option as delivery is often cold and mushy. Lunch is great! Dinner, (same dishes), not so much. The bearded waiter is definitely a &$£€ and not cut out to be a service person. He definitely takes away from the dining experience which is a shame because dining in gets you far superior food to their takeout.“
“I was really sad when chengdu closed because I had been going there for years and loved it. I gave this spot a try a few months ago and while I do still miss it, at least this is still better than any other Chinese place I’ve found in the valley. Chengdu had a bigger menu, so while there are some things I can no longer get, this place does the basics well.“
“I just want to say that I’ve been eating at this restaurant for many years, always been happy with the taste of the food and the great service I receive. My server Jen was outstanding and manager Kim has always been great to me.Thank you for being the best.“
“This was my first order from here. I could just tell that they do care about their customers. I love Pad Thai I know it's like the most basic thing but not everyplace can hit it. Everytime I order through Postmates or door dash from different places that would be only 15 mins away, The Pad Thai would just get so dry and got no flavor when it gets to me eventho there would be a request saying "please make it extra saucy" no one seemed to ever listen. But Delish Thai Kitchen CAME THROUGH with the extra saucy and so much flavor. And they even left me a note I really do appreciate that you did that. Thank you Gonna be my favorite place to order from now.“
“I'm giving this a 4 because it's good for Chinese fast food, probably more of a 3.5 but we can't do that, the food quality is not the best but the taste is good with everything being moist and juicy, I live off of Sepulveda and Devonshire so it wasn't something I will not be going to much because of distance but had to try it and was pleased with it.“
“Highly recommend this excellent spot for takeout Chinese! Everything is very tasty, and they have a large menu and selection. Take out takes about 20 mins. I didn't see a way to order online on their website, so you may have to call to make your order. Parking lot on site but it is normally cramped and hard to find a spot. Friendly staff and easy Apple Pay options to make getting in and out quick. I really enjoyed the Kung Pao Tofu and will be back!“
“This is one of the best restaurants we know of. Not only is the food fantastic, but the owners and staff are amazing people. They are very kind and considerate, and very willing to accommodate large groups, or an occasional special request, etc. We've had several larger groups events catered by them as well and they are terrific to work with about these. And let me mention again how good the food is! They have a big menu and we've never had a dish that didn't look and taste great. It's not just Chinese food but they have some other Asian dishes as well.“
“First time here and I have to say I didn't experience any bad customer service. Everyone was very nice and attentive. My friend ordered a refill on hot tea and we were so deep in conversation we didn't notice the server had already stealthily set it down on the table. The location is what it is but don't get it twisted this is no hole in the wall, it's a small restaurant with limited seating but your food is fresh, and HOT. Can't wait to go back. I got to read some reviews after and I can see if it's busy and they're short a person that service may not be top notch. I always go into a new dining experience with the approach that I'm going to rate it 5 stars unless they give me a reason not to. I hope my fellow yelpers are civilized enough to voice their concerns directly to the staff as they seem like the type of people who will make a wrong right.“
“New Moon was AWESOME! This was our first time here... it was a suggestion of our Aunty that we met up with. Her and her brother's family had been coming here for years, and we totally see why. The food is AMAZING, and Jeremiah is super cool! His dessert suggestions were spot on. We definitely plan on bringing our family here in the future.“
“Such great Chinese food! I'm glad they're open on Tuesdays now. I usually get pick up for Chicken Fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, or Shanghai noodles. The food is always perfect and delicious. Today though... I ordered SnS Chicken and when I went to pick it up they had told me they are no longer mixing the sauce in because it gets soggy. I love it soggy!! And it's not even soggy. Just a perfect sauce mix ratio. So who ever complained about it being soggy... you just ruined it!!! I'll order it next time and ask that the sauce is mixed in.“
“How did it take me this long to find this beautiful place! Talk about hidden surprises in the city of Angels, this is one of those! This has to be, the best Chinese food in all of Los Angeles! May I recommend the deep fried cheese, I think they call it something different, but it's the cream cheese, deep-fried, so creamy, so delicious! The hot and sour soup is so amazing, it's like heaven, just like the chicken, they serve And if you're lucky - you'll be in Louis's section!!“
“I thought I placed an order online. After 1/2 hour, I went to pick it up at about 6 pm. They did not have it. (My fault) However, they promptly got my 2 items ready and even offered me a snack. Great service, kindness, and especially food. The shrimp with lobster sauce was actually very tasty, and I had no urge to add my own garlic and other spices to it.“
“Wow, when I get a craving for sushi ? it's nice to know that Le Sushi is there. The Chinese dishes are great and the sushi is very good. Best kosher sushi in Los Angeles.Dietary restrictions: Kosher restaurant with a reliable certification.Wheelchair accessibility: On the first floor with no steps to enter.“
“The food here is very affordable! The service is amazing as well. I called for pickup and I was stuck on what to order so I asked for a recommendation. She told me everything! This is the first and only time that when I called for a pickup that I chatted with the staff for a couple minutes. We were just laughing and talking, super sweet! I ordered the Pad Thai which was decent & my partner got the Drunken noodles! Both were very decent and I'll definitely come back again.“
“Great place to order some Filipino food. I've ordered Arroz Caldo plenty of times, Sotangon and more!! Customer service is great and everyone is so kind. Special thank you to Gerald who has been so patient with me when I go and order because sometimes I keep changing my mind, and thank you for making me laugh especially after having a hard day.“
“I ate here weekly when I worked in Studio City. Really good and made to order Chinese food. I recently order take out from there. BBQ pork is excellent! As is the kung pao chicken, bbq pork fried rice and the wonton soup! Just a good as I remembered. Restaurant is always clean.“
“The food and service is always fantastic here. This is my go to place. My wife and I come here at least twice a week. Occasionally we venture out looking for other Chinese Resturants that might be better, but no other place compares to this resturant. We always end up returning here. Stop by and check it out. Say hi to the owner, Vincent, or his assistant, Don. They are both super nice people. You won’t be disappointed.“
“Zen is a place I have been wanting to try for a while. I stopped because I did not want to get started on a traffic filled commute. I tried what i would call a sampler platter. I was surprised the sushi was good. The salmon was super fresh. I spent over $40.00 and left pretty hungry. LOL. I would guess that a "foodie" like me would have to spend at least 75.00 to have the meal that i would want. Its a super casual place and for a local sushi I guess in order to survive all these type places have hiked their prices so they can pay their rent. My review on the place is a bit mixed up but the quality of the fish was good which is how I usually judge a sushi restaurant.“
“Peking chicken and Mongolian beef are my favorite entrees aside from black bean noodle. Typically Peking chicken is on the spicy side with a lot of flavor. Mongolian beef is sweet and no broccoli because it’s Chinese Korean fusion. We typically frequent the Glendale location. Good foodParking: 2 parking lots“
“Absolutely love this place! Not the fanciest, but the prices are great, the potions can’t be beat, and the man who owns the place is so kind. Cash only and no delivery are the only major downsides, but for take out it is my go-to Chinese place.“
“Great choice for Chinese food nearby Universal Studios. Can't beat the prices for the food with generous portions and lots of options. Took ours to go but they had a few seats inside. Located right in a strip mall off with a few parking spots and easy access back to the roads.“
“This is the best Chinese food in all of Sherman Oaks--and believe me, I have looked. I moved here from having spent my entire life being surrounded by good Chinese food, and I was depressed at the lack of options. Until I found Bamboo Cuisine. This place does Chinese food the right way, authentically and super fresh! It's a little bit more upscale/pricier than your local Chinese takeout spots--but the price you pay is absolutely reflected in the quality of the food. I love that it's also family-owned, and the servers actually speak Chinese (and obviously, English)--which is important to me. I came here on Lunar New Year once as I was feeling home sick, and was so touched at their good mood, and accommodation. They ended up sending me home with a complimentary quart of soup, which was so kind! My usual orders are Yang Chow Fried Rice, Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings, Bamboo Chicken, Beef & Broccoli--but truly everything I've had here is delicious and authentic. I order from them at least once a week!“
“One of my favorite restaurants to this day, have known the staff for quite some time and have always joined the food. Food is pretty cheap for the size portions as well. As for the ambiance of the place its not longer dine in but when it was it felt very home like and comfortable. As for now its only takeout.“
“I saw a post regarding this place and decided to stop by to try them out, the post I saw showed that they were very generous with their portions, I can confirm that they do serve humongous portions that you can just barely close the lid of the food Container.I ordered the chow mien/fried rice with spicy pork and 3pcs fried chicken wings, I love the spicy pork, the fried rice and chow mien were also good. They have other foods I have to try out.The servers were friendly and professionalThe dining area feels kinda divey but functional and clean, I came in around 5:30pm, not sure of their operating hours. I looked for and didn’t see a sign stating their hours, I wish they have a self serve soda fountain instead of selling them by the can.Parking: Mini strip mall type parking lot“
“Tasty orange chicken. Friendly staff. Large portions and reasonably, but oddly priced.Your typical Chinese takeout1, 2, or 3 item combos with chow mein or fried riceThe reason I said this place is oddly priced is because usually the more you buy, the cheaper the upgrades between levels become. However, between the 1 item and 2 item combo, the upgrade is $1 but the upgrade between the 2 item and the 3 item is $2. Not a deal breaker, just strange. They have chili oil and the OG sriracha sauce which was a major plus. For what it is, this place is great! It’s hard to find a filling meal under $13 these days. I had a big appetite coming in and had some leftovers to spare after the 3 item combo.“
“They have the best American style Chinese takeout in Burbank. I had a hard time finding a place when I moved here and they were right under my nose! Lovely employees, good value, great portions.I will say they do close a bit early for what I would have thought for a Chinese restaurant but it is a pretty quiet suburban neighborhood.“
“My absolute GO TO for great Chinese Food!! This restaurant reminds of the great Chinese food we used to have growing up on the east coast!I always get the shrimp fried rice and the shrimp lo main. And they have great portion sizes. Even my parents eat from here when they visit from the east coast!!Thank you Emperor Express!!Brandon Larkins“
“We found this place when looking for a “mom and pop” type Chinese restaurant. It’s sort of a dive, no frills. There wasn’t anyone else there when we stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon, just a repeat customer happily picking up a to-go order. Parking was easy. The man who took our order also made the food. 2 employees total. Don’t expect 5 star service or fancy dinnerware. But do expect delicious, authentic Chinese food. It came out super fast and they even gave us extra rice when we took our leftovers home. We got the shrimp lo mein, ma po tofu, and hot tea. The shrimp was big and plentiful, the tea was a bit weak (let it steep longer if you want it stronger), and I highly recommend the ma po tofu. It was spicier than expected. We’ll be back again, but maybe just for take out.Vegetarian options: The Vegetable section isn’t necessarily vegetarian. We made sure the ma po tofu didn’t have meat in it before ordering. Vegetarian options include vegetable fried rice, lo mein, and some other basics like broccoli and simple tofu dishes. They have white or brown rice.“
“I just go down there and get what I need for one box and she’s really polite and easy to get along with. Plus she’s got the right food for me and a friend of mine I hope and she still open today.Parking: It’s a small place, but very good food and I like going there often on and I hope that she still open or they are open. Do you the fact that I kind of like that food and they give me a good quality quantity for the right price to.“
“Great find for fast, tasty Chinese food. I was delighted to be greeted by a cheerful woman. That is how you gain clients. She was pleased to assist and didn't treat me like a bother. My three-dish combo order was great, and I have to admit that they have a wide variety of foods to choose from.Food was excellent. Delicious and generous quantities. I recommend and plan to come back again.“
“This is our go-to place for Chinese food! You can get combination dinners with soup, large fried shrimp and egg roll with your combination dinner that also comes with fried rice and choice of entree, all for $10.98! That's a lot of food! Great service, great atmosphere“
“Great service, so quick to give a table and bring the food, they even pack your food to go if u have left overs and also give you some fruit as desert with fortune cookies, loved it, it was first time coming here and ill be coming back here, thanks for the service 10/10“
“I love Mom and Pop shops, this one especially. The lady that is always out front serving everyone is very nice and greets every person who comes in.The food may not be AMAZING. But it is exactly what I want from a Chinese American takeaway. The portion sizes are huge and prices are affordable. And while the prices have obviously increased with time, I would rather still come here and support a great local spot than go to some franchise.Especially throughout lockdown, I went here more than anywhere else to help where I could. Her and some of the staff is still masking for health and safety. And so will I whenever I go in out of respect. (I still almost constantly mask anyways, but I'm usually the only other customer in line that is. Whatever. Not important to the review)“
“I know the place is under a new owner and this is my first time getting takeout from them in general. The food was very hot when I picked up. I only got orange chicken and fried rice because it's just me eating for dinner. I wish there was a dinner combo. Additionally, I would like if there were some things in the fried rice aside from a tiny bit of scrambled egg, some frozen peas and carrots with a bit of onion would do the trick. Flavor of the orange chicken is great. Making the rice more interesting would keep me coming back. I'll come again and try different things.“
“Great food great deals can’t complain probably the best to go Chinese food spot in the 818 hands down definitely the spot I grew up eating here it’s bussing every time definitely stop by this place deserves 4.7 at least some of the reviews on this place are salty ppl mad at the employees last time I checked this place had the same prices and quality of food and has been here since I was teenager definitely staple in the community especially for me this is certified 818 classic“
“I went to Chinese Fast Food for the first time today. The food in general is fine - not spectacular but good for fast food - I had the spring rolls, Broccoli Beef and Orange Chicken with rice and noodles. The weakest dish was the spring rolls - they might have been sitting for a while as the were soggy not crisp - but they tasted good. Everything else was fine - I would definitely get the Orange Chicken again. I also ordered the Hot & Sour Soup and the Won Ton Soup. The H & S soup is very very good - very rich flavor and the right amount of heat (for me - I don't like it super spicy). The Won Ton Soup was spectacular - great tasting broth with tons of vegetables and shrimp and the wontons themselves were delicious. I get Wor Won Ton soup all the time from places all over town - this is my new go-to when I need soup.“
“Best won ton soup around!! I'm so glad I found this restaurant when searching for won ton soup one day. It is truly the best won to soup I have ever tried; very tasty and packed with won tons and veggies. I was definitely willing to try more dishes after that, and did! I have my family hooked on their food. Every time I call, they answer. I have ordered for pick up and for delivery. They're fast and always have been very friendly. I will continue to order from them and hope others give them a try as well.“
“I randomly stumbled upon this place and I couldn't be happier!! I purchased a boba tea and egg rolls and both were delicious! Definitely one of the best matcha bobas I have ever had and the sweet level was great!!! Definitely recommend giving this place a try!!“
“Wong's Kitchen in Los Angeles is a true haven for soup lovers, offering an impressive variety of delectable options. Stepping into the restaurant, I immediately felt a welcoming ambiance, accompanied by enticing aromas that set the stage for a memorable dining experience. As I explored their menu, I couldn't help but notice the extensive selection of soups, each promising a delightful journey for the taste buds.Among their standout soups, the Seafood Tom Yum delighted with its zesty Thai flavors, while the classic Chicken Noodle Soup offered a comforting and heartwarming choice. Not to be overlooked, the Vegetarian Wonton Soup showcased an abundance of colorful vegetables and delightful dumplings.Wong's Kitchen skillfully masters the art of crafting soulful soups that cater to diverse preferences. Coupled with their warm ambiance and friendly service, this restaurant is a must-visit destination for all soup enthusiasts in Los Angeles. Embark on a flavorsome adventure and indulge in their delightful array of soupy delights!“
“Food was supper yummy definitely better than Panda Express and plenty cheaper. They aren't stingy with their proportions and customer service was good lady that helped me out was pleasant and it seems like a family owned business so definitely support small businesses. Ok Chinese food more like yummy Chinese food wasn't super greasy“
“Small place /hole in the wall in the plaza. There is no seating so be prepared to get it to go. The device was quick and efficient. The food was piled on. Barely able to close the lid so they don't skimp out on the portions. I do wish they would ease back on the rice although it was seasoned. That was it would be more room for the other sides. The chowmein noodles were different than what I'm used to. Orange in color and more on the soft/soggy side. Not the best. The other sides were ok as well. The orange chicken was good. Sweet sticky with a slight crunch. 1 of the combo plates will feed 3 adults. Worth it if your on a budget“
“Great food! Inexpensive, dining and take-out, family dinners, free parking.Vegetarian options: Order food without meat!Kid-friendliness: Great food for family and kids!Parking: Close parking, parking lot, free parking.Wheelchair accessibility: IDK?“
“It doesn't look like much but it exceeds expectations it's a Thai restaurant if you are into that. Really nice employees they don't make you feel uncomfortable when ordering been a fan of this place for years the food is very good and it's definitely worth a try if you haven't had Thai food“
“Overall great place for $30. I mean in 2024, especially in LA you can’t get much for that money. The quality isn’t going to be grade A but for the price we were very pleasantly surprised! Pretty good sushi too and grab legs didn’t disappoint. I’d definitely recommend this place and would love to go back again!“
“Ordered here more than 3 times after finding out there is this Glendale location and the one in La Crescenta which is where I went to all the time. We always order jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles), beef with sweet and sour sauce, and mapo tofu (spicy tofu with small bits of meat). Other times we order jjang pong (spicy seafood noodle soup), Mushroom Broccoli and Snow Peas, or the shrimp sweet and sour. We ordered take-out this time and they make sure to do secure and good packaging.“
“Put in order at 2:29pm; Mongolian beef, pork fried rice, BBQ pork, shrimp with string beans, and their delicious food was delivered in less than 30min. Neighbors recommended, so great for true authentic schezuan foods!Vegetarian options: They offer a variety of options for vegetables“
“Got the chicken pad Thai which was made fresh and definitely knows how to cook it correctly. Love that they were extremely friendly and parking was easy. Food tasted great ended up really full and had to just relax for a bit. Definitely recommend but it can go towards the upper 10s in cost per person.“
