“I was really sad when chengdu closed because I had been going there for years and loved it. I gave this spot a try a few months ago and while I do still miss it, at least this is still better than any other Chinese place I’ve found in the valley. “This was my first order from here. I could just tell that they do care about their customers. I love Pad Thai I know it's like the most basic thing but not everyplace can hit it. Everytime I order through Postmates or door dash from different places that would be only 15 mins away, The Pad Thai would just get so dry and got no flavor when it gets to me eventho there would be a request saying "please make it extra saucy" no one seemed to ever listen. But Delish Thai Kitchen CAME THROUGH with the extra saucy and so much flavor. And they even left me a note I really do appreciate that you did that. “I'm giving this a 4 because it's good for Chinese fast food, probably more of a 3.5 but we can't do that, the food quality is not the best but the taste is good with everything being moist and juicy, I live off of Sepulveda and Devonshire so it wasn't something I will not be going to much because of distance but had to try it and was pleased with it.“

“This is one of the best restaurants we know of. Not only is the food fantastic, but the owners and staff are amazing people. They are very kind and considerate, and very willing to accommodate large groups, or an occasional special request, etc. We've had several larger groups events catered by them as well and they are terrific to work with about these. And let me mention again how good the food is! They have a big menu and we've never had a dish that didn't look and taste great. My friend ordered a refill on hot tea and we were so deep in conversation we didn't notice the server had already stealthily set it down on the table. I got to read some reviews after and I can see if it's busy and they're short a person that service may not be top notch. Today though... I ordered SnS Chicken and when I went to pick it up they had told me they are no longer mixing the sauce in because it gets soggy. I love it soggy!! And it's not even soggy. “Zen is a place I have been wanting to try for a while. I stopped because I did not want to get started on a traffic filled commute. I tried what i would call a sampler platter. I was surprised the sushi was good. The salmon was super fresh. I spent over $40.00 and left pretty hungry. LOL. I would guess that a "foodie" like me would have to spend at least 75.00 to have the meal that i would want. Its a super casual place and for a local sushi I guess in order to survive all these type places have hiked their prices so they can pay their rent. My review on the place is a bit mixed up but the quality of the fish was good which is how I usually judge a sushi restaurant.“

I moved here from having spent my entire life being surrounded by good Chinese food, and I was depressed at the lack of options. Until I found Bamboo Cuisine. This place does Chinese food the right way, authentically and super fresh! It's a little bit more upscale/pricier than your local Chinese takeout spots--but the price you pay is absolutely reflected in the quality of the food. I love that it's also family-owned, and the servers actually speak Chinese (and obviously, English)--which is important to me. I came here on Lunar New Year once as I was feeling home sick, and was so touched at their good mood, and accommodation. They ended up sending me home with a complimentary quart of soup, which was so kind! My usual orders are Yang Chow Fried Rice, Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings, Bamboo Chicken, Beef & Broccoli--but truly everything I've had here is delicious and authentic. I order from them at least once a week!“

“We found this place when looking for a “mom and pop” type Chinese restaurant. It’s sort of a dive, no frills. There wasn’t anyone else there when we stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon, just a repeat customer happily picking up a to-go order. Parking was easy. The man who took our order also made the food. 2 employees total. Don’t expect 5 star service or fancy dinnerware. But do expect delicious, authentic Chinese food. It came out super fast and they even gave us extra rice when we took our leftovers home. We got the shrimp lo mein, ma po tofu, and hot tea. The shrimp was big and plentiful, the tea was a bit weak (let it steep longer if you want it stronger), and I highly recommend the ma po tofu. It was spicier than expected. We’ll be back again, but maybe just for take out.Vegetarian options: The Vegetable section isn’t necessarily vegetarian. We made sure the ma po tofu didn’t have meat in it before ordering. Vegetarian options include vegetable fried rice, lo mein, and some other basics like broccoli and simple tofu dishes. They have white or brown rice.“

“I know the place is under a new owner and this is my first time getting takeout from them in general. The food was very hot when I picked up. I only got orange chicken and fried rice because it's just me eating for dinner. I wish there was a dinner combo. Additionally, I would like if there were some things in the fried rice aside from a tiny bit of scrambled egg, some frozen peas and carrots with a bit of onion would do the trick. Flavor of the orange chicken is great. Making the rice more interesting would keep me coming back. I'll come again and try different things.“

The food in general is fine - not spectacular but good for fast food - I had the spring rolls, Broccoli Beef and Orange Chicken with rice and noodles. The weakest dish was the spring rolls - they might have been sitting for a while as the were soggy not crisp - but they tasted good. Everything else was fine - I would definitely get the Orange Chicken again. I also ordered the Hot & Sour Soup and the Won Ton Soup. The H & S soup is very very good - very rich flavor and the right amount of heat (for me - I don't like it super spicy). The Won Ton Soup was spectacular - great tasting broth with tons of vegetables and shrimp and the wontons themselves were delicious. I get Wor Won Ton soup all the time from places all over town - this is my new go-to when I need soup.“
