“Aloft Sunnyvale on its own is good enough value for money spent. However, what truly stood out was the customer ser ice of its front desk. Shoutout to Michelle for helping me out a ton when I was trying to extend my stay. No excuses were made and she found a way to get it done even under difficult circumstances. Roy was also great with the room upgrade when he saw that I had brought a friend and might have needed a bigger bed. 10/10 Customer Service!“

“What a blast. I went down to Beefy's last night with my wife and a friend of ours for a dart tournament. There were at least 40 people chucking darts. Everyone was very welcoming as the dart community usually is. TBH, I got a little clostrophobic as there was nowhere to move after each throw. It was packed. Too many tables and chairs in the way The tournament was played on 5 boards simultaneously, and they have a practice board inside and outside. The boards were all lit very well with LED surrounds, and we used the provided tablets with DartsConnect app for scoring. Some people brought snacks to share. Priced seemed a little high ($8 Modelo draft) on drinks, but what bar isn't nowadays. There is plenty of parking in front and back. League Darts on Thursdays and tournaments on Saturdays. Overall, I had a very nice experience there and will definitely be returning.“

“They have 3 pinball machines, 2 pool tables, 2 electronic dart boards, a jukebox, an ATM machine, and all sorts of memorabilia on the walls and ceiling available for their patrons to enjoy!! The atmosphere can go anywhere from calm and mellow during midday, to exciting, jovial, entertaining, and filled with dancing and laughter in the late evenings. As far as the patrons, they has a great, blended environment; so no one will feel out of place if you decide to go. “Last night sept 27th, 5 of us came to get drinks and chill out. We were greeted at the door by a nice young lady and 2 quite, but still chill guys. The explained that there was an event for Turkish music happening and that it was almost like a private event. They did give us the option of paying $50.00 per head to get in, but that wasn’t a thing feel me? Either way im leaving this review because no lie Ive never seen that many beautiful Turkish women waiting to get in to what looked like a modest bar/venue. I think I saw my future wife there, well I wont know for sure cause I wasn’t paying the 50 to get it. If you went Im already knowing you had a good ass time. Can’t leave a review on the food or service since we didn’t even make it in, but on vibes alone? 5 stars.

“I’ve been eating at El Caminito twice a week (one lunch and one dinner) since 1998. I recently discovered a menu item I had not tried before, the chili relleno Del Mar. It is absolutely delicious! And whereas most of their dishes come with about a tablespoon of shredded lettuce with French dressing, this one has a proper side salad. I love French dressing and El Caminito is the only restaurant I found in the bay area that serves it, so to be able to get it on a real salad is a treat. The presentation is the most appealing of any of the dishes I have tried on their menu and the flavor is simply wonderful. The service is excellent (Hi, Stephany, Andrea, Gloria and Gabriela!) and prices are reasonable. They keep winning Best of Bay Area awards from the San Jose Mercury News and it’s easy to see why. They also have an excellent catering program, so get your company to hire them for your next function!“
