“Steamed fish filet with chopped chili was very good. I usually get this dish or similar at most Sichuan or Hunan places I go but this one stood out with the combo of fresh chilis, pickled chili, fresh ginger, strong black/white pepper flavor and (I think) coriander dusted on top. The sauce did something to my mouth that I can't explain, but I'll come back to do more 'research'.“

“Solid food that's centered on a Taiwanese menu but mixed in with a bunch of other Asian cuisines, like Korean Army Stew. They have a super extensive hot pot menu, and the spicy dishes are truly spicy.
Prices are very reasonable and quantities are large. Service is solid too. I'll definitely be coming back!“

“We had a good evening and Kristen is a great staff member. I hope you enjoy my favorite pen. 😉 Kidding. As for desert... I have NEVER been a fan of anything banana related. You have to try the Banana Spring Rolls 🤯. Crispy, deep fried, sliced and presented like a sushi roll covered with warm caramel sauce. Add vanilla ice cream 🤯🤯
Get this!“

“Ordered Shrimp & Chives (turned out to have pork) dumplings, Chicken & Spinach dumplings, and Beef Roll (there's a Beef Pancake also, so make sure of your order). Took out Mapo Tofu.
Loved the chicken spinach dumplings, which had a dab of sweet sauce and with the table hot sauce (go easy - it's quite spicy), with cucumbers cut thin. They are really great: 5 stars. These guys know how to make dumplings skins!
Beef Rolls were a tad greasy, and the dough was a bit thick. They're a 4 star.
TBD on the Mapo Tofu, but this dish was said to be good by other reviewers.
Kinda hole in the wall and simple strip mall locale. If you're down for a casual atmosphere, it serves.“

“Very Americanized Chinese food. The Chinese chicken salad was very interesting, especially the hot mustard sauce (also btw, not sure why it's called a Chinese salad bc this dish isn't really a thing in China? At least not that I've seen). The Tao Tao beef was tender but a bit too salty for my taste, though it did have a mountain of rice to pair with it. Was a fan of the wonton chips!“

“Ordered the Wonton soup and the Egg Flower soup over the phone, and arrived at the restaurant in a couple of minutes, and the order was ready for pickup in non-spill recyclable plastic containers. That was fast. The soups tasted pretty good.“

“My parents started going here 25 years ago when they first started dating. Now, I am 21 years old and I live in Seattle, but we still make a point of making the trip out to Sunnyvale everytime we visit because of its continued amazing service and amazing food, and we always tell our friends to eat there if they are in town. Our favorite dish is the Beef Chow Mein (Hong Kong Style) and we always order one whole dish for every person in our group. I am sure it is supposed to be split between multiple people but it is just so good! And we don't come to California so often so it's a special treat. King Wah Chinese Restaurant has a special place in my heart (and in my stomach) thank you for the great time and great memories“

“Darda Express did a fine job with orange chicken (tender and sweet/spicy), Mongolian Beef (a bit different style than other places but still found it good), mixed vegetables (appropriately crisp and not overcooked), pot stickers, and egg rolls. It is a very good neighborhood Szechuan Chinese Restaurant. They also allow you to bring your own containers for take out that they fill with your food so you can be zero waste like I am. Plastic single use disposables are terrible for our environment.“

“Lunch special for 1 item (chow mein or fried rice + 1 item) is around $11.50! Very reasonable prices and good food.
The workers there don't speak English, so I had to have the customer next to me translate in Chinese to order.
Food is yummy. Natural. Not too oily or greasy. Very delicious! seems like a lot of solo tech employees come here for lunch and order food!
plenty of parking as well.“

“The ladies who work here are super sweet. I rarely have their steam table food as I feel like it looks a bit sad at times, but their banh-mis are AWESOME. They also have these refrigerated puddings, and other miscellaneous Vietnamese goodies which are all excellent. I also had good luck ordering freshly made food as well.“

“The serving speed was incredibly fast, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal. More importantly, the rice noodles were absolutely delicious.
Kid-friendliness: Many high chairs and kids don't need to wait for a long time, because their serving speed is super fast.“

“Got the only vegetarian noodle dish which is the pickled potherb mustard noodles. Substituted the rice noodles with regular noodles which was chewy and cooked perfectly. Yummy soup and good portion size.
The spicy crayfish rice noodles was flavorful but a tad bit too spicy for me. The rice noodles were just as good, great bounce to the chew.
Will definitely come back! I just wish there were more vegetarian options.“

“We came here for dinner and ordered zhajiang mian, another fried noodle dish, and, on the waiter’s recommendation, the salt and pepper fried eggplant. It ended up being our favorite, so we’re really glad he convinced us to try it!
The waiter (also maybe the owner?) is super enthusiastic and loves to suggest dishes you might not have considered. I didn’t find it pushy at all. First, he's running a business and, of course, wants you to explore the menu. Second, he mentioned that if we didn’t like his recommendation, we wouldn’t have to pay. It was actually refreshing, especially since positive, enthusiastic service isn’t what Chinese restaurants are typically known for (as a Chinese person, this is pretty normal to me). I also noticed that he doesn’t pressure people who aren’t interested, so he really knows how to read the room.
This spot is definitely getting added to our regular dinner rotation!“
