“Absolutely adored the hospitality of the staff. We're visiting from Virginia and it was such a new experience to have table side service and staff who were engaging and interested in conversation. The tasting room is beautiful, as are the grounds. We really enjoyed the couple of hours we spent tasting wines and having light charcuterie (purchased on site). Thank you for the great afternoon and memories.“
“Great wine, great service, very knowledgeable people.“
“I had a great time with my parents there. It is a small Vineyard if you compare to the ones in Napa but I had to for a meeting in Livermore so we visited Las Positas.
My parents share a flight and we ate 2 flatbreads. All good, we enjoyed family time.“
“Was there for an event. A 80th birthday party. Was wonderful outside venue under the shade of the multiple trees. Different wines had been purchased as well as soft drinks & water. Although temperatures in the 90's there was a nice breeze so was comfortable.“
“I found a hidden gem!! This is by far my favorite winery in the livermore area. The location is absolutely beautiful and one of the owners (Rich) is incredibly personable, giving you that small town welcoming feel. They offer a wide variety of wines and even have a beer list for those non wine drinkers.
Another thing I love about this place is that it's affordable, with so many wineries in the area charging 40 dollars for a tasting of 4 wines (which is wild to me) here you can taste 10 wines for 30 dollars.
My only regret is not finding this place sooner!“

“We've lived in Livermore since 2005. Every restaurant in this location has always been excellent, and Calamari seems to have not just matched -- but surpassed all of its predecessors.
All of their bread is baked fresh daily on the premises. I can't have gluten, but I deeply appreciate fresh-baked awesomeness for anyone I bring who *can* enjoy the gluntenisian delights. The spread / dip that comes with the bread is so delicious that I would eat it on just about anything.
(Yes, even that. And yes, I know what you're thinking. Pervert.)
They have many gluten-free options, and everything is incredibly delicious. Grilled octopus was our appetizer of choice, and holy cephalopod, Batman! Nummy nummies in our tummies!
I ordered the salmon, and I've never had better. Milady had the Beef Manti -- and I was desperately jealous for a bite, but it's a dumpling made with wheat. Those of you who have no gluten issues (and consume le beeves) will have a great time with this dish.
We went with a bottle of the legendary Yakut (13.5 ABV), and it was lovely. Next time we'll try one of the other Turkish wines on offer, because this is a region we have yet to explore.
Dessert was the rice pudding (perfection), will the Turkish coffee at a 20 year old Tawny port.
One of the best meals we've ever had. We will be back: this menu must be explored to the furthest extent possible.“
“Thank you for your concern about my purchase of your boxed wine, that was very nice of you,. most of my friends drink your Franzia wine and my favorites are Fruity Red Sangria and Chillable Red which I have been purchasing for a long time...Thank you again for your concern about the boxing as we will continue to buy .“
“Awesome chill winery with great wines“
“This is such a great winery! The reds are a little lighter than many Bordeaux blends, and they also have some ligher Italian reds. The Pinot Blanc is one of the best white wines I have ever had, and garden setting is perfect.
If you see some negative reviews here, you quickly notice that it was from a large group of peopke who brought their unruly kids. Kids don't belong at a winery and I appreciate RM keeping the environment peaceful.“
“Very nice family owned winery. Came here on a sunny Tuesday riding a bike from Danville. It was well worth the effort. The wine tasting was so good. Really recommend going with the Jewel Flight, with the top red wines. It's a lot of wine for only a person, so if you are going to visit another winery it would be better to share the wine flight.“
“Great time listening to Matt Finders and friends!“
“I've not visited the vineyard and hope to soon. Writing this in appreciation because my favorite wine shop in Oakland, The Wine Mine, sells their Pinot Noir which has been a favorite of mine for years. So hopefully on one of those days for my girlfriend and I go driving around we hope to visit.
Keep up the good work.“
“The wine was delicious, the setting was beautiful, and our host, Gina, was great!“

“Nella Terra Cellars was the perfect venue for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. From the moment we first visited, the property was absolutely stunning, and it provided a beautiful backdrop for both our ceremony and reception. Our guests are still talking about how gorgeous the venue was and how seamlessly everything came together.
The staff was professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day special. They were organized throughout the planning process and helped ensure everything ran smoothly on our wedding day, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment.
The only challenge we encountered was with the required catering vendor's tasting schedule. The available tasting dates were very limited, which made it difficult for my spouse, who serves as a military reservist, to participate due to military obligations. While we understand that coordinating schedules can be challenging, offering a bit more flexibility or additional tasting opportunities would make the experience even better for couples with demanding or unpredictable schedules.
That said, this was a relatively small issue compared to the overall experience. Nella Terra Cellars exceeded our expectations and gave us a wedding day we'll cherish forever. We highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a breathtaking location, a wonderful team, and an unforgettable wedding experience.“
