“Awesome little hidden gem on the back of the shopping center. They got a lot of stuff. That's good here. The paninis are amazing. The pasta dishes are so good. You won't regret any choice you make here. I've been coming here for a while and everything here is good.“
“I love little hole in the wall places. They are usually the "good spots." This was no exception! Amazing pie! Simple and amazing! I didn't want to wipe my mouth. I just wanted to lick them to get every drop of the perfect sauce.“
“This Italian restaurant makes me yearn for my hometown in central NY! Authentic feeling with a very full menu to choose from. We ate in the bar area on a very busy Saturday evening. My husband had a beautiful plate of linguine and clams, the flavor was distinct and excellent. I had the lobster half-moon ravioli in a really nice tomato cream sauce. The spinach salad was also quite good. Special mention of the warm bread with traditional olive oil & balsamic available for dipping. All the food was served at the right temperature, service was truly excellent, from the valet, to the hostess to the bartenders and servers. For dessert, we brought home Tiramisu and we both agreed it was the best we have ever had! We look forward to returning for another wonderful dinner...soon! Recommend reservations.Parking: Valet parking.“
“I'm from NY. I'm a sandwich guy. I've eaten sandwiches on 4 continents. Their meatball sub is, easy, a Top 5 sandwich I've ever had, maybe top 3. It excels in every possible sandwich category. I just finished one. Spectacular.“
“Even though we had a hiccup with our order and it took a long time for our food to arrive, the staff was up front and very apologetic. They comped us a dessert because of it. Good customer service when there was a problem rates a decent score. Food was excellent.“
“I know this pizzeria for about 6 years. They have the best pizza in Winnetka, if I don’t exaggerate they have the best Persian pizza in Los Angeles. Every time I have a party, it doesn’t matter birthday party or just having my friends over for a football or basketball game, everyone ask me to order some cheese or pepperoni pizza from Thyme. We all recommend this place. Next time instead of ordering pizza from Domino’s or Papa Jons, try Thyme Pizzeria. You won’t regret. Also they have this heart shaped pizza which is good for special occasions like Valentine’s Day or anniversary.Vegetarian options: I’m not vegetarian. But I believe that if this place offers a fully vegan menu, vegetarians can find lots of vegetarian options. I’m not sure if they allow substitutions on their vegan menu it. But it doesn’t hurt to ask. Definitely, they have tons of vegetarian food.Dietary restrictions: They have another menu a full vegan menu with bunch of vegan specialty pizzas, vegan pastas, vegan appetizers, and vegan desserts. Also they offer gluten-free and cauliflower gluten-free pizzas. I’ve never tried those options.Parking: There are lots of free parking spaces.“
“Food is good. Atmosphere is great ? But the parking is something else. It's very small and if there's no parking whatsoever you'd have to park somewhere else and it's not easy to find parking there at all. This restaurant is very pricey. A little expensive for someone/families who are on a budget.“
“Highly recommend. We are visiting from out of town and all 6 of us said it was the best meal we had and best service all trip! Thank you Christa!Portions are large, so order wisely of you are sharing. Enjoy.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pizza tasted closes to regulate pizza as possible...my son enjoyed it.“
“Visiting from WI, randomly chose Mr Pizza and I was blown away! The guys in charge seem to really care about the food they send out. Not much of a dining room, I would recommend just doing carry out. That being said the ingredients and overall taste were FANTASTIC, one of the top 5 pizzas I’ve ever eaten! If you’re in Van Nuys give these guys a shot!“
“Food quality and customer service are the best aspects of this deli. I saw how the staff treat their customers with respect and kindness. The food is so delicious, and the value is unbeatable. The signature Philly Pastrami Cheese Steak sandwich is a heavy hitting culinary masterpiece balancing the savory meats and melted cheese with the crisp green lettuce and tomatoes.I have been waiting too long to return and try their calzone the size of your head! No kidding, it has to be hands down the best place for a calzone, preferably their chicken pesto calzone. Their menu is immense, and could spend years trying out all their food.If you are in Los Angeles North Hollywood area, Roma Deli does not disappoint the hungriest foodie.“
“Ike's has the best vegetarian subs around! Well, from what I've tried anyway. Few months back I tried their Freddy Krueger sandwich (not vegetarian) on their dutch crunch and it was great. The dutch crunch is delicious. I also tried their James and the giant peach recently and it'll be my go-to anytime I visit for sure! All the ingredients come together perfectly and the vegan fried chicken is good too! Their sandwiches come with a candy (caramel apple lollipops) and as someone with a sweet tooth, I love it. Service was good and my sandwich came out in a timely manner. It's a great place to grab a bite after running errands in the plaza.“
“I love this pizza place. It so delicious and always satisfies my cravings! They are super friendly 10/10 and pizza is SO GOOD 10/10. They were super kind enough to deliver my pizza (my address was slightly out of there delivery range) Delivery was fast and easy. My food was still hot and very enjoyable.“
“Our friend's 75th birthday was on March 29th 2024, and he chose this restaurant for his birthday dinner. The food was very good, the service was friendly and attentive, and we had a lovely evening! I really enjoyed their Chicken Marsala entree!“
“This is a casual, local, Italian restaurant with incredible food. I always start with one of their tasty soups and we share the chopped Italian salad. (One of my favorites) All of the entrees are perfectly seasoned and well prepared in large portions. Don’t miss this great neighborhood gem.“
“I’m 39 now” been coming to this place since I was a kid! Absolutely amazing food and service!!!! Hands down the best pizza you will come across in the entire valley!Make sure to try it out yourself, you will not be disappointed “?Parking: It’s on a Main Street you can’t miss it.“
“DeFranko’s is an OG sandwich stop in the valley. They have been around for over 50 years. It’s a little hole in the wall stop with no indoor dining but they have a few tables and chairs outside with a very small parking lot.The service was just okay. They definitely get a lot of orders in person and over the phone. There was a line out the door. I recommend calling ahead because they do get busy!I got the Italian sub for my parents who were in town and a chicken salad for me. The chicken salad was just okay. After reading more reviews, I wish I had gone with the pastrami because that one seems most popular. My parents enjoyed their sandwich but wish it had more meet inside.I will definitely come back again by calling in and trying something new.“
“The Pizzeria Factory has etched its name in my culinary hall of fame, thanks to its culinary prowess showcased in the best vegetarian calzone I've ever tasted. The Vegetarian Calzone at The Pizzeria Factory is a work of art. Each bite unfolds a medley of flavors, perfectly harmonizing a variety of fresh vegetables and delectable cheeses. It's a veggie delight that transcends the ordinary and sets a new standard for calzone perfection.Pairing this gastronomic wonder with local IPAs from 818 Brewery adds another layer of enjoyment to the experience. The curated selection of IPAs complements the calzone impeccably, creating a symphony of tastes that lingers on the palate. For those seeking a culinary adventure that marries craftsmanship and flavor, The Pizzeria Factory stands as a testament to excellence. Don't miss the chance to indulge in their vegetarian calzone paired with the local brews—it's a journey worth savoring.“
“I requested on my booking and in person from the hostess not to be seated next to the door. It's always drafty and uncomfortable, yet we have been sitting next to the door. Also, the tables have been side ways - what makes the space between the party far away from each other. We came only 6 people and I couldn't make a conversation past my son who set next to me. Other than that, Kevin our waiter was great and food was delicious as always.“
“Christian, the Argentinian dude who I believe is the manager is the best. Super friendly and the rest of his staff really takes care of you! If you want something done a certain way just ask! Been coming here since I was little with my mom and Nonna. Hope this place stays around forever!“
“The food here is delicious, we got the pizza, salad and wings , it was all delicious, friendly staff here too, they gave us great service, always checked up on us, the environment felt welcomed, if your looking for new pizza try Guido's!“
“Giamela's is a classic go to and has been around for so many years! Consistent quality subs generously topped with diced onion and pickle (if you opt for it). Always a treat and blows away the chain sub "shops". The only downside for some my be that it's cash only.“
“Our office has been ordering Vincenzo’s on a monthly cadence for nearly 2 years and they always deliver high quality & delicious food with top notch service and care. We couldn’t be happier . Special thanks to the crew and the manager, Maria for delivering with 100% satisfaction!“
“Solid pizza, we ordered the general combo and also got their chicken pesto. Both were delicious. I'm a big fan of chicken wings, so we got those as well. Medium size wings but packed with a lot of flavor. I have eaten wings from pretty much everywhere nearby and I'll give these ones a solid 8/10. I wanted them hot and I wish they could have gone hotter.Otherwise, great food for the price and I'd definitely order again.“
“It is authentic Italian food. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. When Italians eat Italian food in United States they get disappointed. After Sugo I understand why. Everything tastes so much better the real Italian way. If I remember correctly Cook is from Milano. Definitely Recommended!“
“I've been here once before but came here yesterday and this sandwich was HEAVEN!!!! It's a small but it was pretty big! Lol My boyfriend ordered the ravioli and he seemed to enjoy it as well! Customer service by our server was so good! She was talkative and engaging with all her customers I wish I got her name! I recommend coming and I will be back!“
“Party of four! Food was delish! Service was excellent! The only down side for me, is that the atmosphere is more bar like than nice Italian restaurant. It's small with tables very close together, no booths, no table cloths (even for Valentines Day). This seating makes for more noise and less privacy. TVs with sports/news. They do have a nice sized outdoor patio with heaters, but they were not seating there when we went on Valentines Day evening (it was cold that night) It was very busy! Most dishes ran around $21- $25 range. Didn't have wine. I enjoyed the yummy bread, food and service, so we'll be back!!“
“Stopped in for the first time just now. Everyone was friendly, great service, and the Fratelli Pizza was amazing. I usually hate pizza but my husband wanted to go in so we did. This was a life changing experience. Forgot to take a pic until I was almost done devouring the pizza.“
“I remember coming here as a child and thr owner and his wife always kind to me they literally watched me grow up i absolutely loved theyre pepperoni pizza a fried eggplant! I cannot ever seem to find this type of quality pizza anywhere else even mh mom agrees! Hands down the best pizza anywhere! I remember as a kid used to love watching them prepare pizzas great memories owner and wife were always so kind to me!“
“Great pizza ! So many great selections to choose from. The BBQ chicken pizza is to die for. Must give the Lemoncello and Margarita pizzas are my ultimate favorites ! Don't leave without trying a Bavarian Pretzels are cooked to perfection!“
“I had the pleasure of dining at Brami's Pizza today and it was an absolute delightful ,The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the lasagna & the spinach pizza. Both were bursting with flavor and had the perfect blend of ingredients.besides the fantastic food, and exceptional service,The staff were attentive, friendly, and efficient. 20 minutes, and the food was ready will definitely see you again to try more from your menu“
“The server was top notch. The vibe is pretty chill. 4 stars only cuz I got a margarita pizza and it was just a cheese pizza with some basil leaves tossed on top lol. That said it was a pretty good cheese pizza so I was ok about it, just funny.“
“Can't back to LA to visit and friends asked what I missed eating out here. Did a quick Google search. Giamela's?!?!? Pepper steak?!??!?!? !? <Drool drool> Yaaaaaas!! Deliciousness!! Last time I came, it was a little too salty but this time it was just right. So good!!!! And right across the parking lot is a Yum Yum donuts and Baskin Robbins to grab some dessert.“
“It's a great cozy neighborhood restaurant nestled in Shadow Hills. We are always greeted with a smile and wonderful welcome by the staff. This gem has a nice assortment of delicious food to choose from, and the service is always great! I can never make up my mind with all the choices on the menu. But before we we select our meal, we always start off with their amazing cheesy garlic bread. This is a must! If you go on a Friday night, then order the clam chowder, too! Once we have dived into the bread, then we select our meal. I have had their lasagna, which cheesy goodness, it never disappoints. I've also had their chicken fettuccine, spaghetti arabiatta, rib eye, and clams pasta. It has all been so delicious and flavorful.Oh yes, can't forget their desserts. They have tiramisu, bread pudding and Creme Brule cheesecake, which is my favorite!I can't say enough about this jewel of a restaurant, it's so lovely! It's our favorite place to eat! We love it!!!“
“Great place for families and beyond. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu.A few times during our meal managers came by to ask if everything was okay.I really like the vibe of this placePizza came out quick and the crust was delicious. The free cheese rolls was also a nice touch to start the meal.“
“Walked in and asked for the most popular sandwich and it was the Italian. It’s made with their in-house fresh baked bread and as you can see from the picture, can hardly close because of the generous amount of meat. It’s the closest place to an old world deli in Santa Clarita. Plenty of free parking and they have a good sized market with Italian groceries. I highly recommend this place!“
“Really amazing kabobs!Got the combo platter (chicken, shish, and luleh) and it was more than enough to feed two! Came with your choice of appetizer as well. We opted for the hummus and NGL, it was 10/10. Spreadable, delicious, and light. The veggies on the platter are roasted tomatoes and jalapeños. Perfection. If you love garlic, that garlic sauce is ~~ CHEFS KISS. Worth that $0.75 extra. Spread it on everything.A little bit of a wait for the food is a given so don’t be impatient. Our wait was only 15-20 mins. We dined in.Totally worth. We’re from out of town and it was our first time there. The lady who took our order was so kind and took her time explaining the different items and sizes.Definitely coming back next time we’re in the area!“
“Updated review... after 2 years, went back to Piccola Osteria... they have figured out the staffing and optimized the menu. The updated interior is fabulous... the have an amazing and lively bar area, a new floor to ceiling glass wine cellar and the food and service are top notch. Had pasta and soup... the soup is creative and homemade... as is the pasta. Will definitely be back!“
“Nice italian restaurant here. They have a deli and offer a wide range of italian items. I ordered the meat lasagna and enjoyed it! It had lots of cheese and was delicious. The plate comes with some garlic bread pieces which were also the perfect texture and tasted amazing. It was my first time there and I definitely recommend it. There is a nice ambiance from the decorations to the dim lighting in the dining area. Their menu is great and has lots of options! 10/10“
“Tried the three cheese lasagna as a first time customer. Not disappointed at all and will be back to try the items on the menu. Suggested the place to my niece who reminded me that she had them before several times before. She even had this place catered some of the food they had at their office party.“
“With less than a weeks notice they took our reservation for 30 on a Saturday night. Our group was traveling from Washington State and selected this restaurant based on Google reviews and location alone and we were not disappointed. Our junior roller derby league intends to be back in the area at least once a year and this will absolutely be our go-to team dinner spot on future trips. Food was delicious and service was excellent! They really made our group feel welcome and we all left full which can be hard to do with a bunch of teenaged roller derby players after a game day!“
“We both had no idea how wonderful the chicken Marsala, ciopino, ceasar salad, and bruschetta would be. the custom-made ciopino. I'm relieved we made it and am forward to return. Also excellent are the servers! Five-star service, thank you,“
“Amazing Pizza. I wish I found them sooner. We do pizza every Friday for the kids and they LOVE their cheese pizza. I would also like to compliment their response to errors. My first Pizza arrived slightly cold and looked overcooked. I called for a replacement Pizza and they sent one in 35 minutes no questions asked. Pleasant staff, pleasant delivery and the Pizza is perfect. Thank you! You have a customer for life.“
“I wish I could give a higher rating I recently ordered thru door dash I was surprised with huge portions and extremely reasonable pricing and my pesto past was great the same for meat sause and the garlic bread smelled great and was even better when eaten“
“Great local spot I've enjoyed for 20 years. However I recently switched it up and tried their sandwiches. BOMB! So good. Though the steak and cheese could have used one more scoop of steak to fill out the bun. Bit really good and I'm glad I added it to the Friday night routine.“
“This place is so tiny. But, it really packs a punch. With a deli counter, baked goods, a selection of imported goods, sandwiches, and even some ready made frozen meals. They cram a lot into a small space. But, it's all very authentic. My mom loves the cold cut sandwiches here, so I've been eating them for years. I've also had the turkey sandwich. The turkey was sliced thinly, and the bread is always wonderful. Their sandwiches are always fantastic. And, the frozen baked Ziti is a delicious and convenient way to enjoy a restaurant quality Italian meal at home.“
“Of all the kosher pizza places in the valley, LA Pizza has the best pizza by far. I've been in the area for a couple of decades and I've tried all of the kosher pizza places out here. None of the other ones compare. The other places do weird stuff like have sweet crust or add sesame seeds to their crust or their crust is too thick or their sauce just ain't quite right. LA Pizza has pizza down. Plus, their salad dressing is pretty great too. That's why LA Pizza is still thriving even after that trash competitor restaurant opened up next door.Compared to non-kosher pizza restaurants, it is on the mid-expensive side but it's not more expensive than other kosher pizza spots out here.Maybe I'm semi-biased because I grew up going here and I met my first GF here but their pizza is the best in the area. I know pizza. Ask my ever-growing belly if you doubt.“
“love this place! really old school feel on the inside. the bread and butter alone are to die for. they also have an amazing caesar salad. the pizza is delicious. they are heavy on the toppings, which may or may not be everyone’s preference.their pastas are okay“
“It's one of the last, old-school restaurants in the SF Valley. They serve high quality, family style Italian food (e.g., not artisinal, nouvelle cuisine), and they have a great bar. Think Musso & Frank, Jr. with occasional live entertainment with a warm, gregarious community clientele and staff.“
“Guido's Pizza is the best all-around. Whether it's the one in Sylmar on Polk and Glen Oaks or the one on Osborne and Glen Oaks. You can never go wrong. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted, and both places treat you with respect.Guido's Pizza was a big hit for my son's school. It was delivered on time for the school party they were having. I ordered two extra large peporoni pizza's and my son said that all the pizza's that were not from Guido's were never touched once. The kids were amazed with Guido's that even the parents asked me where I got the Pizza because they wanted to buy some for the holidays.Five stars to both Guidos Pizza.“
“Ameci pizza makes the best taking pizza dough I've ever had. It's one of those pizzas that you eat to the very last crumb because it's that good! We've tried all of their special pizzas and our favorites are the Mediterranean pizza and the Deluxe pizza. We also love ordering the Calzone. It's so perfectly cooked and delicious every time. The hot wings are also out of this world good, perfectly crispy and drenched in sauce! They are super generous with the toppings on any pizza you order and their quality and flavors are super consistent every time. Last week I had ordered from door dash and the dasher forgot to bring our hot wings. I called the store and he had one of his drivers bring it to our house immediately. So friendly and phenomenal customer service. We have ordered well over 10 times from them and they have never disappointed us yet. I highly recommend trying them out.“
