“I was a bit skeptical at thinking it is another restaurant serving s*ty soy sauce drenched noodles, but it was such a pleasant revelation how good the dishes were.

The Super Wok Special Beef is the one to order! It is incredibly tender, slight sweetness to it and buttery. It it served on top of a bed of sliced oranges. It is guaranteed to make you keep coming back for more. The dish is $19+ and serving is generous.

I went back another day to try out the lunch special. This time it was the crispy salt pepper shrimp selected. For $13.75, it came with a soup of the day, rice and the entree. Serving was very generous, maybe even 2 people can share one. It was excellent!

I regret ordering the prawn crispy noodles. Tasted terrible and too salty. Kind of like an overdone soy sauce noodles.“

“We visited this location for the second time today, and enjoyed it just as much as the first time we went to eat there. The Sherman Oaks location is one of the nicest P.F. Chang’s around, as we’ve been to quite a few in Southern California. Staff is always polite and professional, and I want to give a big “thank you” to our server, Aliyah. She was so friendly, sweet, accommodating, and is exceptionally good at her job, and it really showed! We’ve had some good and bad dinning experiences at other restaurants in the past, so it’s nice and refreshing to know that people like Aliyah truly care about the customer experience. It also reflects well on the management—that being, they spend the time and effort in training and employing great staff like her.

Each dish was a taste experience, from the delicious dumplings in broth to the perfectly seasoned fried rice. The service is great and the atmosphere is inviting. “Great lunch spot or to take to go. It’s a really good value for West LA especially. Love all the small dish options, feels like I could come here multiple times a week and not get tired of the food given the variety. I recommend the mapo tofu, king pao chicken, sweet tomato and egg, and eggplant. The mini buns are nice snack for the kids too. We make our own rice at home and pair with 5-6 of these sides. Feeds a family of 4 for about $25-30! Not a big space inside so gets a little cramped during busy hours.“

“Dan modern Chinese was a pleasant surprise as the person who brought me told me it was better then din tai fung. It was not as good but the food was solid, the dumplings were great and so was the salt and pepper beef. Would come here with a date or a friend for a casual meal.“

He was able to substitute the item for me without issue. When I arrived, he confirmed my whole order for me and visually showed me that everything was there. Portions and quality were great. Hot and sour soup could've been spicier if heat is your thing. My favorite dish here has to be the cashew chicken, it's superb! I must not be the only one aware of take out from here, though the place felt quiet and offered serene dining for a few tables, the kitchen remained very busy. Multiple orders and their owners came and went in the scant few minutes awaiting my own delicious dishes. I've returned for more already but can't justify keeping this gem all to myself anymore.“

“The food here as well as service is beyond any experience I've had in LA since I moved here 14 years ago. Chinese food is my favorite, but I have never found one in this town or surrounding cities that could match this place on all points. Some places have good food but rude waiters, or good waiters bad food, you get the point. Came here Sunday after church with my mother for lunch and we were both so impressed. “I got the spicy fried chicken from my BFF who always told me about this place. At first, I thought the chicken would be extra extra spicy, but it wasn't (I could handle very spicy food. This chicken had 5/10 to my level) IT WAS SOOOOO GOOOD!!

I don't normally eat onions, but somehow they seasoned the whole dish very well, I ended up finish everything in the container!! LOL

I'm going to go get more of this chicken soon and try other items & the stir fry rice noodles (my BFF recommended that as well).“

“This was our first time at this location. They didn’t have some menu items that we have seen at other locations.

It’s a nice big open place with plenty of seating. Be aware of the tables where the air blasts down on it. They had plenty of staff. Good customer service.

The best thing was the pork dumplings, which did come hot! Tastes delicious with soup inside.

The fungus salad was a little too vinegar tasting. The seaweed salad was a good size. Tastes crisp and yummy!

Chongqing Crispy Chicken was very spicy, even at medium heat!! Eat with rice…the perfect combo!!“

Most of the other patrons were Asian. All of the staff were. All of the good was good to great.

They handled our big party (9) without a hitch and had a completely reasonable bill since we also took home 4 or so meals.“

“Chowking is one of the best Filipino small restaurants here in California. Their halo halo is one of my favorite especially summer time. Beef noodles and pork asado siopao is also really good. Employees are very nice and friendly and the parking is good too.“

“PF Changs is a reliable "go to" chinese restaurant. Their dinner special is a very good value. The portions are ample, generally have left overs. Sometimes they bring the different courses out too fast, so make sure to tell the server you don't want the food rushed.“

We had green beans with minced pork, kung pao chicken, fish filet in black bean sauce, and shrimp with lobster sauce. They are all very good and tasty. A little on the salty side, but still delicious with a "strong character" ;-)

“If you want liang pi or if you haven’t tried it, I highly recommend this spot. Other noodles were just ok. I do want to mention that the portions are HUGE, so very good value. The bowl I got could be eaten for two meals. Food was out very fast. They also sell some bubble tea drinks there.“

“I am Din Tai Fung’s biggest fan and the today went to the Santa Monica location located inside Santa Monica Place :) Stunning location and recommend sitting outside: the views are immaculate!! I got to try the new matcha jasmine latte which was a 10/10 for me. I appreciate the ceremonial grade matcha comes unsweetened and the jasmine milk tea is sweetened so it’s the perfect blend. “It was crispy noodle type of day and I wanted one badly that day. I stumbled upon this low key Chinese restaurant. The entrance is at the back facing the parking lot. Next to the restaurant is a bar that seems to attract chunky dudes who likes motorcycles. Frankly the entrance looks a bit sus.

Upon stepping in you’ll recognize it to be quintessential family run Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood. Only thing missing is the obligatory owner’s child doing homework in a corner table lol.

The crispy noodles I ordered was the one topped with prawn and veggies. The serving was quite generous and nicely plated. $14.95 for such a good serving! Other than maybe a bit more shrimp I’ll say it was a 👍👍

“We love the food from Mandarin and the service from Ling Ling, the woman who works at the front. It’s been our go to place for Chinese food for quite some time. “Well this one was a pleasant surprise. Smallish place, dark walls, some free parking in a busy area with a bunch of other eating places. Not being in SGV, didn't expect much. Ordered the half Peking duck, chicken chow fun, and beef with snow peas. The duck came out first, and our server did a great job of carving the duck at our table. I've heard that the table side carving is done, but had never experienced it. The duck was amazing! The skin was crisp, not the crispiest that I've had, but very good. Most pieces had skin and meat. The meat was tender, juicy, and flavorful. It was served with bao buns, scallions, cilantro and hoisin sauce. The rest of the duck was chopped up in the kitchen and brought back to our table in a dish. The chicken chow fun was tasty, the chicken very tender, and the noodles cooked perfectly. The beef was also super tender, tasty, and the snow peas were cooked just right. What a great meal! Not a cheap meal. The three items were about $90 plus tip, but to get such quality in the Westwood area--priceless.“

“Saw this place on IG a while ago, but subconsciously just scrolled through the post not remembering the name. I just happened to stumble upon it while getting my car serviced, and realized it was the place when I saw they were serving people fat portions of food.
