“Really good food! Love the chips and salsa and tasted several drinks ~ A hidden gem slightly off the footpath of old town Temecula. Not open late (till 9) but a relaxing atmosphere to dine in that will not burst your eardrums like other establishments. No over the top theatrics, just really good food and drinks, tastefully decorated and a great patio. Can’t wait to go back : )“

“This place is amazing! The prices are reasonable and the food is fantastic, had the 3 tamale dinner plate with beans and rice. The tortillas are the best! Just be careful which salsa you choose ? I accidentally chose the hottest one but regardless, incredible meal! Went there with my church congregation and we all left full and happy ? looking forward to the next visit!! 5 stars well earned!!!!!“

“My family and I went on Sunday for the first time to have lunch at La cocina. Julio was our waiter and was incredible. The service was amazing and the food was great! I had Camarones Al Mojo Ajo, and they were so good. I highly recommend this restaurant. 😊“

“We decided to celebrate my mom's 90th! Bday celebration. There were only 4 of us but we started off w complimentary chips & salsa, then we had a hamburger w fries, chile Verde combination plate, chips w cheese, beans & jalapeño & the Agua Chile green salsa ceviche (VERY HOT). My mom had a Margarita & a complimentary flan w candle! The food was delicious & well served. This is a huge restaurant w indoor & outdoor seating, I highly recommend it.“

“The restaurant itself is ok, calm, pretty chill, the food and the service tho 10/10 i ordered myself a ceviche it was 10 with tax such a good portion and the girls (servers) were kind! Asking if everything was good and even gave me different options for salsas picantes 🫶 thank you for being nice to me and i do recommend! Maybe next time imma get aguachiles! Thanks again! ✨🤌 10/10“

“Came for the fried ice cream and tried the food. Not the usual sequence, but that's how we did it. We've been here about four times in the past two weeks. Food is really good and service is great. My wife had the macho burrito (I think that's the name). It was huge. The pozole is delicious as well. Our new favorite place.“

“Really really enjoyed our time here! We’ve been a few times now, and I will definitely consider this a “go-to” place for an easy, quick, delicious bite to eat.
I would highly recommend the tortilla soup, any burger, chicken sandwich, and the fish tacos. Service was smooth and respectful. Food came out hot and correct.
Lots of brews to choose from as well. If you’re into ciders, they have those as well. Super impressed and grateful for the clean location and kind staff.
Looking forward to the next time!
Side note: they have a clean patio that is dog-friendly!“

“yes I recommend their food ... but you need to speak slower to the employees on what you want & check your order before you leave . twice already I tried to get the double chicken avacado Salad .. first time I got some citus salad second they gave me some chicken protein bowl non of these words are in the meal DOUBLE CHICKEN AVACADO BOWL !!! Very disappointed with tonight dinner !!“

“Got a Congo burrito and it was sooo good. Everything was full of flavor. Salsas were yummy too. I was happy to see dino nuggets when I opened my sons kids meal. My son is a picky eater but those are his fav, so that was a big win. They also followed my notes and did not put pico de gallo on my other sons cali burrito. Ordered on door dash and food was still hot. Will definitely order again.“

“What can I say. Whatever the name may be, wherever it is, whatever the cost, it's still Don Jose food that I grew up on and loved in Artesia for over 40 years. This location is not the traditional Don Jose/Ricardo's layout with a truly California Mexican restaurant feel but it's very nice and comfortable. The food tastes the exact same. The staff was great and I will be back until either it or myself no longer exists.“

“PRIMOS MUST BE INDIVIDUALLY OWNED AND OPERATED. THE NACHOS ARE VERY DELICIOUS. ALL PRIMOS ARE NOT THE SAME. I HAVE EXPERIENCED ANOTHER PRIMOS AND IT IS NOTHING LIKE THIS ONE. “This place is as clean as it comes. The staff and manager go above and beyond, and the food is tasty and delicious, and the service was so speedy. This particular Rubios gets 5 stars from me for everything. They truly take hood care of this business and welcome their guests with open arms and great service. Great job, team Temecula Rubios.“

“The vest breakfast burritos around! Ordered 32 burritos cut in half and wrapped for a work function, they had them ready on time, hot, and gave me two large containers of red and green salsa along with a ream of napkins. Carried it to my car too! I highly recommend! Everyone loved the burritos.“
