“We LOVE BBQ, and, being in the military and having traveled across the US I must say I have had some damn good BBQ.. Locally you have Bandits, The Meat Locker in TO, and Green Acres over in Simi Valley. Buster’s ranks up there with some of the best. Meat was tender, well seasoned, moist and juicy, delicious! I was taken back a little by the price, but once my plate came I saw what it bought me. Let’s just say my eyes were bigger than my belly and they give you some healthy portions. If you’re in the area and hankering for some good BBQ you need to check Buster’s out to help fill that craving.

Oh, and when they say hot, it is 🥵 HOT BBQ sauce, and I loved it… I’m a Ghost Pepper/Reaper Pepper kind of guy to give you a gauge.“

“Went there a few times with my pal Harold De Wit who lives in Thousand Oaks. Lots of beer choices. They’re all cold and tasty, the pizza is great and the staff is friendly. Good experience! I will go again next time I visit.“

“It’s a love-hate relationship. On the plus side they are very responsive and generally consistent. They give a decent sized plate at $16.
Unfortunately they’re using seed oils all over the food.
Food tends to be pretty salty, but not the end of the world . for whatever reason they like being off on Tuesdays.
Dining in is like eating at a hot house. This place is made for takeout. The good part is you get real meat fix. When you replace the vegetable layer with noodles, they really don’t give you the noodles they give you the rice instead of matter what you say. I think they must’ve had meetings about this.“

The Old Rock Store is a legitimate weekend destination for anyone on two wheels. It is rare to find a motorcycle hangout that actually lives up to its reputation, but this place does.

The atmosphere is exactly what you want for a mid-ride stop, and the energy there on the weekends is great. I had a fantastic time and I already can't wait to come back. If you are looking for an authentic spot to post up during a Sunday ride, this is it.“

“I came here in the midafternoon. It was completely empty.

The server, was helpful. I chose, instead of getting the all you can eat option, I ordered ala cart.

I got the chicken with mixed veggies, fried rice, hot and sour soup and an iced tea.

The soup came out first. It was really, really good hot and sour. The flavors were balanced and you could tell that someone put care into the preparation. Note that they only serve a two-person portion, so I had to take some home.

The the fried rice and the chicken/veggies came. Also really tasty. The chicken was cooked perfectly.

I appreciate small, family run places. The entire meal just hit the spot. I'll definitely be back.“

Both were full of flavor. cocktails were great as well. Love their outdoor patio, it’s got great views of the valley. The staff were super attentive and nice. “Great place for Hawaiian bbq! Good sized portions / prices. I Got the Kalua Combo and everything was delicious, the shredded pork was nicely seasoned , and The chicken katsu was perfectly fried , and went great with the katsu sauce ! The rice was your plain average white rice it was cooked nicely and paired well with the sauces and meats ! The Mac salad was freshly made because it was still a little warm which I personally love and it was nicely seasoned , overall really good spot for Hawaiian food and I'll definitely be back to try more !“

“Visited Surajang for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We ordered bulgogi, beef brisket and beef short rib. All the meets were delicious and perfectly seasoned. The sides and apps were all fantastic especially the Korean pancakes. Service was pretty great. Well attended to and the grill was changed between orders. Everything was very clean. Would definitely recommend and go back again. A surprisingly delightful restaurant in the corner.“
