“We love Si Bon! We are regular breakfast/ brunch customers but decided to go there for my birthday dinner. I started with their wonderful garlicky escargot in a waffle and my husband started with mushroom soup. My husband had Fried Chicken for his entree while i treated myself to steak frite, with hangar steak. Both were wonderful. Service was en pointe. The diners next to us were rather noisy and loud but the patio on this spring evening was delightful. And Si Bon gave me a free dark chocolate mousse to celebrate my special day.“

We wanted to try a Coachella Valley favorite- the date shake.
We came across Lappert’s and decided to give them a try.
The store has a fun vibe to it. The gentleman working was very friendly and helpful. It looks like they have a very broad and creative menu, and can make just about anything that one could imagine. My husband ordered the date shake and I opted for the small cup with 2 generous scoops.
The standard cookies and cream was probably the best version I have ever had. It appears as they make all of their ice cream themselves.
For my other scoop I tried the Navels and ganach. What I really liked was that it was an orange ice cream and not a sorbet.
It tasted like one of the boxed chocolate flavors.
I would say the real winner here was the date shake. It has a very unique flavor, but not too strong. They used date ice cream and vanilla ice cream.
I would definitely recommend Lappert’s!!“

My husband receives his after-stroke physical therapy at the Eisenhower clinic in the same shopping center and so we drive in from the Washington Street side and pass Tiffany's twice a week. No one knows how we could have missed our first visit for so long!! *****Big word of advice: Parking is easier if you go across the lot and walk up because there is constant traffic passing behind you if you pull in out front. Lots of cars can be difficult to see as there are many other businesses and I had to move stealthily and try to see around delivery trucks blocking my view. There are spaces across the lot, always. People who know me are aware 1) I don't wait in long lines for food and 2) Parking must be survivable. For my friend's birthday I wanted to surprise her with some great items she would not have time to buy for herself. I was thrilled to step into one of the sweetest, cleanest and most attractive bake shops ever. The young man at the counter was so great and helped with my questions. Did I only buy a cupcake for my friend, you ask? No, I made sure to buy extra items to bring home and do "quality control" if you know what I mean. Haven't you ever bought a big bag of treats before, taking only a portion out for the recipient? Have you not placed the most beautiful cupcakes into the fridge and looked forward to having fun later on? But not too long in the future? You have to visit and check out this assortment. Cupcakes are frosted while you're there. Only fresh ingredients we all want to see are used for these sweets, too. There were choices galore- And Happy Birthday cookies!! Of course I got one! I gave it with the cupcake. (I'm not a monster.) This beautiful hidden gem creates gluten-free, keto, and vegan sweets. You will swoon at the flavors on the labels here. I have no idea how I left the shop without two big bags but I carefully got my one big bag home instead of dipping my hand in while driving. I cannot drive by now without whispering "Best cupcake ever" and bowing my head, smiling.“

The banh mi was easily one of the top 5 I've ever had (I'm a big banh mi fan). The tofu was delicious as well. I also loved how they make the spring rolls from scratch.

We usually make stops throughout the places we visit to try the Peruvian food and this is it. The ceviche was fresh and had all the authentic ingredients it’s like if we were sitting in Peru eating. “Tommy Bahamas hosted my rehearsal dinner for my wedding, a total of 16 adults and 4 children. They went above and beyond. Initially, we were on the outdoor terrace surrounded by other customers. I asked if we could be more secluded since some of the family and guests wanted to say some words. They proceeded to move our entire group to a different section of the terrace for a more private and quiet setting. It was incredibly kind and generous of them to do so. Benjamin, our waiter was also terrific. He was prompt, thorough, and the service we received was unparalleled. The food and drinks, as always, were tremendous, and my wife and I could not be more satisfied. They even gave us a piece of pina colada cake as a celebration! Thank you again to the entire Tommy Bahama staff for a wonderful evening.“

“We were looking for some tasty breakfast at lunchtime and we found this place on Google with really high reviews so we decided to give it a try. They are only open for breakfast and lunch, close at 2, fyi.

When we walked in it gave off the old school diner vibe which we like! We were greeted right away and let them know we wanted take out. We sat at the bar and chatted with them while deciding what to order. Such friendly and accommodating staff! We are staying in a hotel so they made sure to provide us with all of the condiments and things we needed to take our meal back.

I ordered the Monte Cristo and it was divine! It was our favorite out of everything because it was packed with flavor and they were these cute little mini sandwich bites we could all share. My parents got the eggs and hash browns and really enjoyed a nice, simple home cooked meal. My daughter got the grilled cheese and fries and she thought the cheese was a bit too much, but otherwise she really enjoyed it.

They also had pies in a pie display and these awesome looking cinnamon rolls. We visit the desert often and will be adding this place to our regular rotation! Family friendly, lots of food options at an affordable price and free parking! We will take it! Check it out next time you are in Palm Desert!“

Instead of letting the fruit rot on the trees, why not pick the fruit to sell or even donate to a food pantry? I was saddened seeing all the fruit going to waste.“

“We dined here last night for our anniversary not expecting much as we were just in Paris last month (Also location is on a strip mall). Needless to say we were pleasantly surprised of the food and service. Hubby had the escargot and I had the octopus for starters. He had the veal cordon bleu and I had the halibut for entree. Kudos to Chef Emmanuel for a very tasty French food and special shoutout to our server Gina. She is exceptional, seasoned and we can tell she loves her job.
