“Have enjoyed the chicken rice bowl many times over the years, and it is very consistent. I typically go through every drop of their kmg sauce, which comes with the dish automatically, but consider ordering extra. Must get extra side of gai lan cause it's that good.“
“First timer here and the food blew is away, in a fabulous way ?Simple menu, and food is simply unpretentious and delicious. Chicken white meat based menu, paired with soup and rice. It's clean, it's tasteful, it's just good. If you're in this neighborhood you should give this place a try! ????“
“Ordered the Buffalo sandwich and crispy chicken sandwich... there wasn't much crunch to it but they had good flavor. Other than that the chicken was sort of cold and the tots didn't have much flavor but overall it was good to try out.“
“Hidden takeout spot inside a spacious Dogpatch building. Loved the larb tofu, the flavors, the crispiness. The broccoli was okay, a bit bitter, almost as if the seasoning was slightly burnt. The curry was very oily, but very delicious. Portions are on the small side, but the low prices reflect that. The person we picked up the food from was very friendly. The menu is limited, but if you're looking for some simple Thai food and flavors, some is better than nothing!“
“A hidden gem, food was really good and arrived fast, really filling and budget friendly.Because the place is kinda hidden in a building, it was a little empty but the service and atmosphere was really nice.We ordered a beef chow fun, a garlic chicken dish (?) and assorted appetizers. The beef chow fun was so good we could have called it the best affordable in town, the beef is tender and tasty and the flat noodles are nicely sauced; the garlic chicken dish was our least favorite because of the amount of vegetables which we weren't a fan of, the assorted appetizers was a good sharing plate with a little of every appetizer, each tasty in their own way. The waitress was patient and really nice. The street it's located in has a bunch of stuff to do and more things a few streets away as well. We had a really nice time at the restaurant and afterwards as well.recommended.“
“Decided on a late night fix for fried chicken and this hit the spot! Got the 6 piece hot and sweet with pickled radish and corn on the cob. Corn on the cob was a little bland but the chicken made up for it! Would definitely dine here again.“
“I'll start by saying that I really love NLB and NLC, the food is so dang good. I'm giving four stars because they clucked up one of the things we ordered. The Cali Cluckwich came with no tempeh bacon or avocado added on, and we didn't have time to get it fixed because we were crunched for time on a work lunch break. Without the extra ingredients added, it was a little plain and just a classic cluckwich. We didn't even have time to get a refund or anything.Other than that, taste-wise the food was good. Also, I've always loved the customer service at the San Francisco location, the employees are always so happy and friendly.Hunny Hickory TenderClucks were delicious. I chose all fries, no slaw, and it might have been one of the largest sides of fries I've ever got at a restaurant.Vegetarian options: Fully vegan! Awesome!“
“I stumbled upon this place after having a few drinks at bamboo bar, and I was glad that I did! I ordered the sucio, and a side of potato salad . The chicken sandwich was made perfectly, and it was juicy! It just needed extra sauce, which came at an additional cost of $1.25, for a small container (insert sad broke face) . The potato salad needed a bit more flavor too. The service was really chill, and even offered to let me charge my phone while I was waiting! Over all I would most definitely stop by, and try my sandwich with another side.“
“Lunch at The Roost is one of our favorites in SF. As a pescatarian, this is actually the ONLY chicken I eat, anywhere - and it is delicious. The adobo seasoning is fabulous. Cole slaw has a unique flavor that I wish I could replicate at home. Do try the sweet potato croquettes, but leave room for their brown butter cookies!“
“This is THE spicy chicken sandwich restaurant in the Bay Area. The spice level is perfect, they use dark meat (not white meat), and the rest of the sandwich complements the chicken perfectly. Love this place and would recommend it to all spicy lovers.“
“I got the ginger scallion ginger chicken with rice and a side of the broth! It was amazing!!! they could have used some chili oil on the side for an extra kick! But it was prepared very fast and filled me up as I was just got finished with a salon appointment! Pretty affordable for San “
“We had What the Cluck cater and the food was delicious! We had the crunchy chicken with rice, it came with a sweet sour looking sauce and cucumber slices. We also had the mango sticky rice. Ordering was easy and delicious! I would come again.“
“Relaxed setting to get their famous fried chicken sandwich with a chicken claw in it! The official menu item is the Claude the Claw. If you go frequently, they give you a card where after you order 10 sandwiches and get the next one free!“
“This place is insane. So yummy. The staff is so sweet and helped me find what I would like. There bone broth is out of this world. You honestly can't get anything bad here. They play a lot of 80s music so the vibes are totally there. Thank you flybird.“
