“This place is a great stop for anyone who wants a quick bite and lively atmosphere. Plenty of windows to look out and see everyone. It's right next to the Oxbow Market so it's often busy but somehow there is always a seat and very little wait. Huge menu with lots of options and new specials every month. Friendly and responsive staff, amazing milkshakes. Vegetarian and vegan options, even wine to offer as well. Definitely worth stopping in, it's a staple for a downtown Napa experience. Parking is only 1-2 minutes walk from Oxbow Market. Thank you, Gott's!“
“It is a very large place, very good atmosphere, the food is delicious and healthy, the portions are quite large, the price is quite reasonable, and the service is good and the food usually does not take long and the atmosphere is quite calm, kind of romantic dinner but for breakfast.“
“I just ate here for the first time since its post-covid reopening. My hamburger was sizable, done to perfection and accompanied by crisp lettuce and a thick slice of Bermuda onion. The fries were good as well. The only drawback to the meal was the can of Coke instead of a fountain serve, but that's not enough to knock off a star. Overall, it's still the best burger in the Richmond. Another reviewer laments the loss of its 1940s diner vibe. I have no idea what that person is referring to. I've been coming here since the early 70s and I can assure you that the decor has not substantially changed since that time - wood paneling, micro red and orange wall tiles, counter stools as well as booths along the window, and even the clunky mechanical cash register near the door. It's damn near a time capsule of that period. I'd also take issue with Yelp's description of the place. This is not a "retro 70s" diner. I can assure you it's looked like this since, well, the 70s.“

“Their gnocchi is heavenly, squishy soft and melt in your mouth divine. Their pizzas are great too. The patio offers amazing outdoor seating and the restaurant has a great upscale yet casual atmosphere. Looking forward to visiting again once their renovations are done.“
“I can see why this place has 5 stars. Very friendly staff and very clean, the food was delicious and the OJ was very unique. I had the breakfast sando with croissant. Also had the potatoes very delicious. Would like to see an ALL Organic plate instead of only some items for the price but overall very tastey.“
“One of the best sandwich spots in the city, they open as early as 7am and their sandwiches never MISS! Service is great the ladies behind the counter always have a smile and have great attitudes when you order your sandwich. I always get the Italian combo or the pastrami sandwich and it’s always bomb.Pro tip: ask to get your sandwich toasted!“
“I live in Sausalito incase anyone thinks I’m a regular and I’m trying to plug a friend’s place or whatever. This is the best breakfast in Marin. Food is so fresh and the staff are exceptional. I work in the service industry and don’t usually leave reviews. Really evident team culture and refreshing attitudes all round. Well done to all!“
“goodness gracious is this a great spot. i got the benedict and some OJ. the OJ was VERY fresh squeezed, like it tasted ice cold and squeezed in the last few minutes. The benedict was unbelievably good and i am committed to trying to replicate a bit - though i will go back over and over again to try every other dish.“
“This is my absolute favorite place for a weekday lunch in the Marina. All of the ingredients are so fresh and everything I have ordered has been amazing! My favorite is the Californien (love the habanero mango hot sauce) with a side salad. They really don't skimp on the side salad, both in terms of size and toppings (figs, pears, pumpkin seeds, manchego, etc.) and the prices are reasonable too. The staff is so friendly as well. Cannot recommend this place enough!“
“This was a real gem. Inside this cozy , authentic French bistro , get brought right to Paris! We enjoyed authentic dishes, extremely attentive and charming service , and had a lovely dinner pre- Cirque de Soleil at Oracle Park. Tasty dinner and impeccable service. I'll schlep from Oakland to come again and again . Truly great experience .“
“Hayes Pizza in San Francisco is nothing short of a pizza lover's dream come true. Situated conveniently close to the University of San Francisco, it has become my number one go-to spot whenever I crave that perfect slice. The pizza here is consistently top-notch, each bite bursting with flavor and crafted with care. But what sets Hayes Pizza apart isn't just their delectable pies, it's their service. The staff here are the epitome of friendly and hardworking. Every visit feels like I'm being welcomed by a group of old friends, which adds a layer of warmth to the entire experience. While the ambiance might be likened to a typical pizza joint, its charm lies in its simplicity. The space, although on the smaller side, is always spotless and radiates a cozy vibe that makes you want to linger just a bit longer. In summary, if you're in San Francisco and in search of a memorable pizza experience coupled with stellar service, look no further than Hayes Pizza. Can't wait for my next visit!“
“Some of the best and freshest sushi I've ever had and I can't wait to come back here. My friend and I actually let our server order for us and everything he brought to the table was sooo good. He also recommended this delicious dry sake that paired very well with the sushi. I believe his name is John. He was an awesome server and knew all the right things to order for us. I highly recommend these items: Hirame Izukuri with habanero truffle ponzu Spicy tuna soft shell crab hand-roll (I don't think this was on the menu. Our server recommended it.) Hamachi (always a crowd pleaser!) Kanpachi (oh, this was probably my favorite fish we ordered. This and the salmon.) Salmon (from New Zealand. It had this wonderful hint of savoriness that you don't taste in Atlantic salmon) Ocean trout Aged tuna Fatty tuna Uni If you're not sure what to order, just ask the servers and I'm sure they will point you in the right direction.“
“An actual gem of an eatery in SF. I hope only people who appreciate what hard working staff and owners do to make a plateful of ingredients into a most interesting and delicious meal - go here and eat - if they haven’t already. Love that it’s in a neighborhood - love that they have a dog - love that the staff are all pleasant - and love the food. Thank god for places like this - gives me hope.“
“Unique salads, healthy ingredients and quite large portions. You should empty the container into a larger dish at home and stir the ingredients well.My favorite is the Vibrant salad, which has an outstandingly complex flavor mix. I still usually add the excellent lentil balls“
“4 stars for a blunt caprese salad. Otherwise, fantastic pizza (dough was godly), perfectly al dente salmon pasta, and appropriately creamy tiramisu. Ambience cute and great for a first date or otherwise. Certainly one of the best if not the best Italian pizza I’ve had in S.F. (equal or better to Montesacro and Berreta and certainly better than Tony’s overrated pizza). Overall, highly recommended but avoid the starters.“
“Can't find a better sandwich.Any other sandwich chain only scores 1 or 2 compared. The roast beef was tender, thinly sliced, the onion jam sauce so delectable, the bun was perfect. Been years since I've had a sandwich meal that surpassed the taste of Q's.It's an 11.“
“omg ?. this place is jus spectacular. i’m obsessed ?. i got two hot pastramis (one on a roll and one on rye) with peppercini/onions/pickle. the husband and wife are the sweetest and most gracious hosts. benji is fantastic too. this place does not nor will not disappoint. it’s jus soooooo good. ?“
“One of the best wine bars in the city! Totally unpretentious, incredibly welcoming, and always a good time. The menu has a few changes regularly and there's ALWAYS a fantastic and varied wine selection. You can tell that every person who works here is passionate and loves what they do, one of the true gems of North Beach.Great spot for a romantic date in the evening, perfect place to chill with friends in the afternoon. Highly recommend the tastings - especially on Wednesdays! If you get a chance to take a class DO IT! You'll learn so much!“
“If you are looking for lunch the proper French way, this place is it - cozy cafe with a small menu, everything cooked to order and served by the chef, and dining without looking at your watch. Had the Tarragon Chicken Sandwich as recommended by the chef and was blow away. The bread was just too good. Not a place for a quick meal if you come in during lunch rush, but we'll worth the wait.“
“As a pizza connoisseur, when I heard about Roman style pizza, 'pinsa', with a different dough, I was immediately curious. As they note on their website, pinsa dough is made from a combination of soy flour, rice flour, and wheat flour, creating a crust that is light yet crunchy and satisfying. We ordered the Formaggio di Capra e Spinaci for some greens to go with, and then got the Quattro Formaggi and Prosciutto e Fichi for our pinsas.I find salads from pizza places to be very hit or miss; and Gusto Pinsa's salad was certainly a hit. The salad was perfectly dressed - it had a ton of flavor with the dressing, tomatoes, goat cheese, cranberries and walnuts coming together to provide an interesting textural contrast, with a nice hit of black pepper. The pinsas were the star of the meal though, as expected. Although I'm not the biggest fan of cheese only pizzas, the Quattro Formaggi was excellent! It was super cheesy and salty (in the perfect way), and the splotches of sauce provided nice balance to the saltiness of the cheese. The Prosciutto e Fichi was the preferred pinsa by myself and my partner, with the prosciutto and fig glaze providing a nice saltiness and sweetness that contrasted very well with the Quattro Formaggi. If you haven't tried Roman style pinsa yet, what are you waiting for? These pinsas were delicious and somehow felt much lighter than eating a regular pizza. We will be back!“
“A great little gem in a bustling historic location. Great to sit at a little table in the plaza and watch the people and pigeons! Friendly and prompt service. Drip coffee was fresh and hot. High-lite was the tasty croissant breakfast sandwich. Made fresh on the spot and not reheated like most cafes. Lots of toppings and options - next time I’ll try a veggie bagel sandwich!“
“No nonsense pizza shop serving great food with friendly service Picked up some pizzas here for my Girlfriend as she was overseeing her Students at a conference. We ordered 3 Large pizzas with one topping each. Pizzas were prepared very promptly (within 20 minutes) and were available for pick up. The pizza portions were huge - slices tasted really good too. Service was also very friendly - the staff let me wait inside for a ride as it was cold outside Would definitely order from here again, for larger groups or even just for myself 5/5“
“Loved this place! Will bring friends back.I love the variety of dishes they have (they have sooooo many seafood options for those who are pescatarian or eat halal)!!! It makes me so happy to find a Korean spot with so many seafood options. The lady (seems like owner) is so sweet and friendly!“
“Amazing food, quick, and the most friendly service! We're from Ohio and found them on Google maps on our way back to the airport from wine country... And although it's in a bit of a strange location, it was fantastic, all 8 of us loved it! Don't hesitate, GO!“
“Kurabuta pork and truffle oil dumpling soup easily served two as did the fried organic chicken breast sandwich on an Acme torpedo roll. Soup was complex and wonderful. Sandwich was hearty. The house-made pickles were just one more excellent thing about it. Will take pic next time. Big sandwich. Pick up times are accurate, if you arrive very early they have beautiful cookbooks to page through. Service is excellent. Once I found parking right in front. More often arrived at pickup time, order was ready, back in car in less than 5 minutes. Also, parking on west side of 23rd just north of Macdonald. There are fewer spots on east side of 23rd because of curb cutouts for the large McDonald's parking lot. (And if you see a hint there, OK.)“
“The sausage factory in Castro is a top notch restaurant! The food was great and the service was excellent. The atmosphere of this small restaurant is one of the very best.Booth by the window so you can watch the people move around on Castro street! It’s a must visit and dine , prices a very good considering you are in San Francisco.“
“I saw the sign on the sidewalk and decided to try for lunch. I got the Cenote with chicken, which is basically the John Holmes of burritos. As a hetero, I felt slightly awkward yet still managed to enjoy (hmmmm…) Seriously, it was delicious and packed with plenty of chicken. Some parts of the burrito were randomly cold, which I think was caused by the rice not being hot. You should fix that. Also, there is waaaay too much lemon in the water. Like unsweetened lemonade. It was undrinkable. Maybe give folks the option to have lemons or not.The chips and salsa were pretty good, with two salsa options included. But they didn’t give enough of either to finish the chips. If they fix the water I’d gladly eat there again. Or maybe they have bottled water? Just thought of that… duh.“
“Best sandwiches in San Francisco. The daily specials are my favorite. The flavor combinations are so creative and incredibly delicious. Their classic tomato soup is wonderful, and the perfect addition to any sandwich. Service is always friendly. I would order from them every day if I could.“
“Love their breakfast burritos- ham, chorizo or bacon. Full of flavor and good size. Florentino is a gentleman and kindly makes our food. Love it here.I am told by other patrons their chilaquiles is the best, I just can't get past my fav - ham burrito. Husband loves the one with chorizo.“
“Great place to eat after the theater. Great food, nice ambience, an overall happy experience! Try the empanadas--delicious! My husband had the Cuban sandwich, and I had the ropa vieja. Delish! This is a minor complaint because our waitress was really nice. However, I will say that a gentleman was a little ornery about where to seat us. We arrived at 4:00 P.M. to an empty restaurant, and he wouldn't seat us further away from the door, where we wanted to sit because it was cold. He said that they were saving the seats for the big crowds that they expected. However, by the time we left the tables we would have desired were filled with groups of two or four. They turned off the fans, so we were comfortable, but his attitude got us off to a bad start. The rest of the visit was great, and we would recommend this restaurant and would return.“
“My experience at Napa Valley Burger Company left much to be desired. The burgers were average in taste and didn't quite justify their price point. Even the fish and chips, while decent, didn't stand out. Considering the overall lackluster quality, I found the food to be somewhat overpriced for what was delivered. Still, I wholeheartedly enjoyed their service and atmosphere.“
“We live around the corner from this popular Ramen Restaurant and we finally went in and tried their namesake dish. It was early for dinner' around 5:15PM, and the friendly waitress sat my wife and I in the window. We were both hungry after a day of hanging out at Baker Beach so my wife ordered the Spicy Fuku Red Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen and I had the traditional Fuku Tonkotsu Ramen. Serendipitously, they had $1 beer on special and we both chose a Sapporo which were served in perfectly frosted beer tankards. Iced waters arrived as well, and we were all set. It's a popular neighborhood place and within a few minutes a family of 4 showed up, and not long after, a table of 6 sat down and ordered. The Restaurant itself is spotless, and I liked the butcher-block table tops and comfortable chairs. Our food came quickly and it was delicious! The two servers checked in to make sure we were doing okay, and their timing was perfect when we finished our main course. Also on special was a free scoop of ice cream and my wife and I both ordered the excellent Matcha flavor. All in all, we had a perfect experience, the food was very tasty (the broth tasted rich and yummy - just how we were expecting). The service was excellent, the decor and ambiance clean and comfortable. We'll be back with our eighteen year old twins when they come from college next month!Parking: Huge amount of daytime-metered spots (Free after 6PM and all day Sundays) available in this area of Clement StKid-friendliness: I've seen people having dates here, and earlier in the evening, whole families chowing down“
“The pizzas are always fresh, hot and delicious - it's my favourite in the area. The crust is thin and the toppings are really good. The staff are always polite and friendly and you can enjoy your pizza with a drink while watching a game on the TV's.“
“If this was a movie, it would be rated 127% on Rotten Tomatoes. I ordered the Bacon Cheddar Jalapeño Bomb Fried Chicken Sandwich and I am so happy that my mouth has not met a napkin yet. I'm only half way done and HAD to post this review. Wow. Wow and some more wow. WOW! What a killer sandwich. Highly recommended for people that like a lil spice in their food. Cheers!“
“My favorite place in San Francisco, everything seasoned with an amazing delicacy, there is no waste in anything on their menu (The chicken in any presentation is ufff, the Brussels sprouts or the Umami not to mention...), the place is very clean, the very careful attention and always everyone with the best attitude in the service.. they got 100Vegetarian options: Very healthy food for demanding tastesDietary restrictions: Gluten free menuKid-friendliness: Dishes well suited for childrenWheelchair accessibility: There are no steps in the premises“
“My favorite place in SF for a quick lunch during the work week! I get the create your own salad and the woman that makes it is so so friendly and really hooks it up! I call it the salad of my dreams -- so many yummy, nutritious things you can add and so big that it's always 2 meals worth. The chicken shwarma plate is also to die for.Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten-free options“
“This place is a local treasure. Affordable lunch deals with tasty and unique foods, this is one of my favorite go-to places in the area. The owner is always very kind and I have yet to try something on the menu I didn't like. Not only do they have great pizza, they have noodles and shish kabobs - which are again a personal favorite.“
“The wait wasn’t terrible, was told 15 min, we waited 15 min. It’s loud and yet somehow cozy at the same time. Loved all the fishing lures hung from the ceiling. Didn’t expect lures to make such good ceiling decoration!I enjoyed the gnocchi with shrimp, it was good, however; I have had better. If you are a gnocchi person, maybe order your second favorite dish. My friend had ordered the special crab pasta with pancetta - it looked quite delicious.I recommend dining here! Service is great and food was delicious.“
“Cash only! For a quick slice of pizza that hot, fresh and tasty Marcello’s pizza is tough to beat. Their dough is chewy and bread like, the cheese is thick and chewy. I like to sit and eat inside on a wet and cold day. For about $5 it’s a good eats.“
“Coming from NYC, I thought we had the best sandwiches. In this instance, I have to admit that the sandwiches at Sandwich Boss are unique, delicious and without comparison. The selection is so wide that I have eaten here 2 days in a row. This place is a must for the sandwich lover!Has a super friendly atmosphere to boot.“
“This is a cafe that I've been to a few times for lunch, and it's a great place to get a quick sandwich in the heart of FiDi! While it is in the lobby of an office building, it does have its own area with seating in case you want to eat there. The service is friendly, and typically it only takes five minutes or so for your order. I usually get the Roma's Club with Dutch Crunch, and for the size of the sandwich that you get for the price (which is fairly affordable by SF standards) I think it's a pretty good value. The ingredients taste fresh, and I am usually pretty full afterwards. Nice spot to check out!“
“Charming little cafe tucked away in Fort Mason with a peaceful vibe and a beautiful view of the bay. I ordered a hot matcha latte and a vegetarian breakfast sandwich. Both were wonderful. I was also able to get some reading done in such a pleasant environment. I will be back - what a hidden gem!“
“amazing authentic Thai food, you can tell as we were the only 'pale faces' in here :) fast and polite service, prices reasonable for Japantown, we had coconut soup, very filling with the side of rice, and Pad Thai, smothered in a flavoursome sauce.“
“Great sandwich! Im a vegan so I saw a few comments on the meat quality and all I can say is maybe the roast beef could've been more tender but that's not always a restaurant issue... Otherwise! Great sandwich. Juicy. Filling. Excellent aiolo amount...yeah.“
“I really like Lou’s Café. The bread is always fresh and delicious, they have great selection of sandwich options, and it’s a very good value. This location is off the street in the interior of the block, so it is quiet and there is a nice, tranquil outdoor eating area next to it that is very pleasant. Highly recommend!“
“Ordered the Shake your bahn bah sandwich which comes with a mixed salad, was well made and delicious. Bread was toasted beautifully! Also ordered the shrimp po-boy wrap, which also came with a mixed salad. Wrap was ok, should've substituted the wrap for bread as in the banh banh, would have been much tastier. The salad was great, really liked the house dressing.“
“This is a long-running SF small business office-lunch institution with long-time employees; we are so lucky to have businesses like Working Girls' Cafe in our city. After the pandemic when I returned to office at a new tech job in the Embarcadero area, I was delighted to see that there was a Working Girls' Cafe in my building (I would go to the New Montgomery location often in the Before Times). At this location, Faheem, German, and Sebia are friendly to all customers (regular and new alike), and serve up a delicious variety of breakfast offerings, and lunch sandos and salads. I am so grateful and happy for what they bring to the downtown community. Thank you, Working Girls', for existing!“
“The team of 2 owners have done a healthy & delicious search for all of their food & drink items.A favorite is a tortilla wrapped Mt Baldy BLT washed down with 16oz of hot chocolate.Try to bring a reusable, insulated cup to avoid a San Anselmo food vender ‘Single-Use’ to-go cup fee.Parking: Adjacent Pine St self-pay city lot is less than 39 steps away.“
“This place is insane. So yummy. The staff is so sweet and helped me find what I would like. There bone broth is out of this world. You honestly can't get anything bad here. They play a lot of 80s music so the vibes are totally there. Thank you flybird.“
