“Great views and yummy food. Menu is quite eclectic with an Asian and Middle Eastern twist. Our waitress Jambeth was nice and politely asked us when we sat down if we had a show at the Pantages. That was very thoughtful and much appreciated. As it was we were there for my birthday and so we were not in a rush and could enjoy the skyline and cuisine. Ordered the shrimp cocktail, chicken liver and charred carrot starter. Had Cacio & Pepe, Charmoula and Duck Confit as our main. The head chef was not in town that day so the sous was serving us. The best dishes were the ama ebi, tuna tartare, and ceviche! And the fish and chips (amaida, matsutake) and crab fried rice was not impressive for this price point. “Compared to a few years back this street food spot has gained a few more food stalls to neighbor it. There is now a bbq meet place, a salad and fresh foods place and a dessert one. I got three plates, one pad Thai, one pork fried rice and one of their new ground pork with egg dish. Pad Thai is good as always, fried rice was lacking flavor as before but they have seasoning for you to use. Their ground pork with egg was so good but holy crap it was spicy. It did have a good spice though I recommend it.“

“I have tried almost every Thai restaurant in the area in an attempt to find the best curry. Today I chose takeout for my first visit to Sri Siam Cafe. You'll be glad to know the place is tidy which is a plus (I usually order takeout to avoid unsightly decor so it doesn't cloud my judgement.) Upon entering, I was greeted by a server and cashier but I already know what I wanted after seeing review photos on yelp. I ordered the Green Curry/Soft Shell Crab dish and a side of rice. My jaw dropped at the $30 price point but I had already made up my mind. I could have easily switched it to the curry w/crispy pork for far less. My initial reaction opening my bag was that the curry serving was not big enough and I had my fingers crossed that there were at LEAST 2 crabs in the lunch size box so I wouldn't have to throw a food fit! To my surprise the box was PACKED with crispy crab pieces! I already had about 5 pieces before i took the picture and the curry tub was full. Super tasty seasoning on the meat too! Just wish I had some vinegar dipping sauce. 5/5 would come back!“

“Food: Ordered a Hainan Chicken set and a sprite. I originate from Malaysia. Our Ipoh chicken rice is slightly different from this dish but ever so slightly. Only difference is the sauce. Overall, sauce was great, chicken was nice and tender and perfect considering it's a Hainan Style dish. Rice was nice and firm, you could taste the chicken fat in every bite of the rice. (Extremely recommended to pour sauce over the chicken.) 10/10.Service: Not much to say about service, this place is kind of a small neighborhood type of restaurant. They didn't bring our food out together... nor the tables around us. Our dishes were practically locked clean the food was good.. but our dirty dishes sat in front of us for nearly 30 minutes before anyone ever checked on us. They never refilled any kf our drinks. Might come back for the food one day but this was quite the buzz kill for our experience here.“

“I'm half Thai but not vegan, and I brought my vegan friend here. The food was pretty good in our opinion! We got Thai tea (good, considering it's vegan), egg rolls (just OK for me but I generally don't like restaurant egg rolls), and drunken noodles (pretty good). The dining room is tiny but nice and bright on a sunny day. Our waitress was friendly and patient while we looked over the menu. “BEST pad see ewe I've had in LA! I'm quite picky when it comes to Thai food. I'm one for authenticity when it comes to food in general. So I like to learn the history & stories behind the food, and the people the food represents. Very friendly & welcoming service. Bright, simple, and clean ambience. The fried mango-sticky rice rolls are an excellent and a quite ingenious version of the typical mango & sticky rice dessert! I also appreciated the check out process with their handheld device & they take Apple Pay. From the beginning as I entered I felt welcomed, again throughout the service was like being waited on by family, all smiles; and to the end of the meal, bows and smiles! 3 suggestions though: 1. The Thai tea could have been done with little less milk and more tea, and maybe offer other milk options like almond or soy milk, but it was still very flavorful and smooth! 2. I would like to see an upgrade in the glassware used for drinks like the Thai tea, hopefully in the near future. 3. Need better professional pictures up on Yelp. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical in trying this restaurant as I saw there were only 94 other reviews, yet it all averaged 5 stars! So I always make a point to try restaurants that possibly may have been overlooked or underrated. This place is definitely an authentic gem one all would enjoy! “The mango sticky rice here is so good! The mangos were really fresh and there were plenty of slices that came with the dish. The crispy bits on top are also an unexpected yet delicious addition and pair well with the sticky rice and sauce. “The most authentic Thai restaurant we have found in LA! Very close to what you'll experience in Thailand. We ordered the Som Tum, Tom Yum soup, pumpkin curry, Pad Thai, Eggplant, Hot Basil with tofu (probably a bit more plain than we expected), Pad Woon Sen (most SoCal Thai restaurants botch it, but Chao Krung Thai masterfully presented a perfect, dry, fried version) and mango sticky rice. I would come back again in a heartbeat. Among the cons are difficult parking, slow service and very dark interior.“

“We came on a Sunday, it is somewhat busy. The location has a few small Thai stands. We ordered the mango sticky rice coconut cakes and green onion coconut cakes. They are $10 ( each has around 8 pieces ).The coconut cakes are sweet , creamy and flavorful, they made it right in front of you so they come out warm. The mango is sweet and not sour so we are satisfied. Remember to bring cash cause they accept cash & zelle. After they take your order, they give you a ticket and they make your food. You just need to bring that ticket to get your food.The wait is around 25 minutes for the food, and there are 3 long tables next to the stand so you can eat there. We walk around the Thai grocery store across the coconut cake stand when waiting for food.It is a nice place to experience some Thai coconut cakes! Would recommend this place.“

It was amazing!!! It’s not a typical Korean kimchi fried rice. It has garlicky and tangy flavors. The runny egg yolk blended well with the rice.We also got cream cheese crab Rangoon, fried dumplings and veggie egg rolls. LOVED their sweet and sour dipping sauce. We asked for extra to bring home.Very casual, fast and friendly service. You order and pay at the counter. We order everything gluten free other than my main dish for the night and my wife and I were amazed on how delicious this was. My wife sweared up and down no way this is gluten free because how delicious and well flavors were. Definitely a safe spot for gluten free. The service was very easy and fast, plenty of parking out front and pickup table was easy. Inside they had nice relaxing music tables to dine in made it seem nice and homey.
