“I recently visited Curb Grill in Montrose, and I can’t stop raving about the experience! This family-owned gem is a must-visit for anyone craving high-quality food in a welcoming environment. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla with sausage and bacon, and it was hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had—packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients, perfectly cooked eggs, and a generous portion that left me satisfied. Every bite was a testament to the care and quality they put into their dishes.
The restaurant itself was impeccably clean, from the dining area to the counter, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The bright, well-maintained space made the whole experience even more enjoyable. What truly set Curb Grill apart, though, was the owner, Albert, whose friendliness made us feel like part of the family from the moment we walked in. His warm hospitality and genuine enthusiasm for connecting with customers elevated the visit to something special.

“so i checked out rise n shine cafe recently, and it was pretty chill. the place has a cozy, casual vibe, good for a quick breakfast or brunch. i ordered some pancakes and coffee, and they were pretty tasty — nothing too fancy but quite satisfying. prices are reasonable, and the portions are decent. the staff was friendly and quick to take my order. it wasn’t too busy when i was there, so it felt relaxed. overall, if you’re looking for a laid-back spot to start your day with some good breakfast food, this place is worth a try. might come back if i’m around and craving a simple, tasty morning meal.“

“Jeremy's Coffee Shop is a great place to stop and get great food at a fair price. The portions are large and taste very good. The service is excellent. Good child menu and daily specials. The coffee is good and hot. Paved parking lot and street parking is also permitted.“

“A calm and relaxing atmosphere for a nice sunny day. I would recommend the French Toast Special it has a nice touch with the blueberries, strawberries, and bananas. The Platter is also a very good choice with great portions. Although on one note, I do think the beverages like fountain drinks & orange juice have an above normal price of $4 each for a Pepsi and the Orange Juice I ordered.“

“I've been meaning to stop by for months. This was a unique yet lovely experience.
Stand on line to place/pay for my order. Grabbed my number, took a few steps where I cured my coffee, needed additional napkins and my hot sauce. Next thing I know , this lovely plate was presented. Thanks to Hannah who was very helpful to me, while I decided my breakfast. I so enjoyed my meal. I didn't feel heavy.
In the middle of Toluca Lake, Sweet salt is a relaxing environment for solo eaters, get togethers and family dining. Stop by for lunch and dinner.“

“Waitor didn't tell me about an up charge but said I could have any selection of pancakes with Breakfast. Delicious and restaurant smelled good, music was ambient, but surprise charge. My check suggested 18%,20% or 22% but when I paid the tablet started it's suggestions a bit higher and didn't let me customize to an 18% because of the surprise unchanged. When I tried it defaulted to 20%. I found it surprising that I couldn't get out of there under $24.50 for a simple pancake platter! Ouch. Restaurant empty, which was fine for a personal call I intended to make!“

“I have been going here since before it was Jinky's. I am glad that Jinky's replaced the previous place. Their food, atmosphere inside and out, and menu is fantastic for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I mainly go here for their turkey chili bowl and ice tea. Parking can be a little tricky, so pay attention to the signs. The people from the other businesses tend to confront you if you park in their spot.“

“We have been frequenting the IHOP in Glen Carbon IL since it’s reopening. Our experience has been great. Credit given to our sweet waitress Makenna C. She is the perfect waitress, she has a great personality and makes you feel so welcome. The food is great and being gf, I truly appreciate the gluten friendly pancakes and other menu items.“

“I came here with a friend for breakfast. She got the avocado toast, I got the multigrain pancakes with eggs. The service was fast. Yadiri S was our server, she was great. Super helpful, quick and made adjustments to the order when needed. Give her a raise, she’s a great server!
The atmosphere is a bit loud, but it’s a large restaurant so it’s to be expected. Wait time was zero for two people. We got a nice booth. Bathrooms could use updating, but they were clean. Parking is lot parking. Great experience, easy to order, thanks ihop!“

“The eggs were fewer, the meats more,the price a lot higher, and they no longer have the tray with a selection of pancake syrups. This new set up was quite noisy - reminiscent of "Olive Garden". The pros are that it returned to my immediate area in a spot with more parking than you can imagine. Still, their food is good and I'll be back.
Parking: We asked if they had a senior discount and they do.“
