We tried the Roti Canai (flaky flatbread with curry dip), Nasi Lemak (coconut rice with all the fixings), and Beef Rendang (tender slow-cooked beef in rich sauce). “Halal spot ; We were on the way to South back home and stop by this restaurant for our light dinner.
I think it’s family owned and the prices are pretty reasonable. The staff were very friendly, and assisted us in ordering. Everything turned out good, they were super nice providing us extra condiments, etc. Be sure to select your spice level wisely cuz we ended up in tears, but we still enjoyed it though.

We hope that we can visit this place again next time we are on the way back from north

“Was super excited to eat at Masala Bae. My friend had been hyping the lunch buffet for so long and we would always talk about coming to eat here on a Saturday morning. Well today was finally the day and it really didn’t disappoint.

We showed up pretty much as soon as it opened and only had to wait about five minutes before we could start getting food from the buffet. It was all so delicious! The standouts for me were the paneer and the chili chicken. I felt like these two dishes complemented each other incredibly well. I am not much of a dessert guy but I also tried the different desserts they had and I enjoyed them very much. Especially the custard with the fruits.

The waitstaff were all amazing as well. Super welcoming and friendly, they made us feel right at home. It was nice and cold inside which was also great because of the heat outside. Would love to come back and eat here again.”

Very friendly staff they all help out my daughter had the mushroom burger with onion rings and my son had the bacon cheese burger with tots. “Living in the boonies of San Diego Co has benefits…(no traffic jams)…but few awesome perks…(like Tiki bars!!) Luckily the gods aligned, in Orange Co, and our last stop was the Stowaway. Intriguing, dark-painted, one small door marked the front of a strip-mall establishment… hmmm…sorta scary…but not really!! But there were two of us, and we had researched this place…so… The doorman looked at us, said a few things and unlocked a chain. We walked through curtains into the darkest bar I had ever been in, and shuffled toward the green lit bar…which turned red, then blue. The girl bartender handed us a card which we couldn’t read…it was really dark inside. From the shadows, up walked a bearded guy wearing a black shirt with hibiscus’s, smiled, extended his hand and said, “Hi, I’m “WILL”…can I explain anything to you? We had lots of questions…about drinks, Tiki ceramics, glassware, appetizers…and WILL cheerfully explained everything…He was fun, cheery, smart, and So Nice!! He brought us amazing drinks (a Tropical Margarita, a Cococano and totally fun ceramic sculptures from which to drink…an Angler Zombie Fish with a light, and Carved Volcano mug that had a flame show-by WILL, included!! Awesome!!) Totally wonderful décor…lights, bamboo furniture, comfy stools, the Skull Cave and waterfall, starry night ceiling, cool pool tables with lotsa room around them…everything thought through perfectly!!! We are definitely going back…VERY soon!!!! Thanks so much for everything, WILL!!”

“My favorite pizzas at Pizza Shack are their specialty pizzas, specifically the House Special pizza and the BBQ Chicken pizza. Another great thing about the specialty pizzas is that they've already been discounted, so no coupon is needed. You're welcome!”

“Decided to come here for a lunch takeout and was immediately greeted with a courteous smile. I ordered a half chicken katsu and half beef belly curry and it was delicious. Chicken katsu has a nice crunch and texture to it and the beef belly has a nice crisp and soft texture at the same time. I will definitely be back in the near future to their other dishes.”

“I think I just had three of the best tacos of 2024. I walked in here expecting things to be good l, but DAMN these were some delicious tacos. Quesabirria, fried fish, and grilled shrimp were unreal! Brought together with two perfect salsas, the tacos were flavorful, distinct, and filling. You don’t want to miss El Bandito.”

“My man’s addicted to their truffle burgers, he gets 2 every time and they will allow you to add avocado and he generally gets the soup of the day every day I’m a big fan of their various white creamy pastas, including the gnocchi, I always add their chicken if it’s not included already. I also love their curry Ramen, and a few of their paninis. Alfalfa sprout sandwich & Panini Frittata. I also love their Caesar salad with added chicken.I haven’t been there for brunch yet, but maybe that will change soon. Started eating here October 2023 I believe”

“The tacos were good, I got the azteca taco that had cecina with the cactus, the asada and cabeza. The cabeza was soft, the asada was ok the cecina was pretty good along with the catcus. The salsas were also decent. It's in a market station so you can grab your own drinks and snacks too.

The staff was nice and helpful with the choices on the menu. The seating is outside with a couple of propped umbrellas which is nice during the hot days. Overall decent place.”

“My favorite sushi spot! Every time I've been in, I've had a great time, from great caring servers, to high quality fish, to delicately built plates. Hard to go wrong here. The fish can be a little pricey at times (since they're all market rate), but they do offer high quality options like chu toro, king salmon, and bluefin tuna. Good portion sizes too, whether rolls, sashimi, or other plates. Definitely check this spot out if you haven't already, you won't be disappointed.”

Be warned that there is a waiting system so you probably want to make a reservation beforehand. We registered in person an hour before closing and were let in within 20 minutes. I've never craved ramen before but I am this time!”

I also add a large cold Horchata (cinnamon rice drink) $2.99 and a side of 3 grilled salted Jalapenos $0.75 (not on the menu). This is the closest Mexican street food without driving to Mexico. My carne asada torta ate like a panini with the bread thinned by the toaster, creating a crispy-ish texture wrapped around the savoury center that burst with flavor like fireworks!

The staff is welcoming and courteous. The matron speaks both English and Spanish, in case you fear ordering outside your native tongue.

“Super clean and spacious interior with plenty of seating and very attentive service. Tucked next to a grocery store with lots of parking, and there’s even a Meet Fresh right next door if you’re in the mood for dessert after!

Tons of menu options and the portions are generous. My favorite dish was definitely the Shanghai rice cakes. It was seasoned perfectly and the texture was so chewy and satisfying. Also really enjoyed the juicy pork dumplings and sautéed string beans with sausage. Would definitely come back again for a comforting and filling meal!”

“Delicious and affordable AYCE KBBQ with quality meats. You can order select meats from the server and they also have a self serve meat bar with lots of options. Few of my favorites from the premium menu were: the wagyu beef belly, prime marinated short rib, and prime marinated boneless short rib cut.

They offer 3 menu options~ weekday lunch ($21.99), signature ($29.99) and premium ($38.99), which all include the meat station.
