“The food is really great, the portions are great as well. However, the issue I have with this place is that we placed the order on the phone and confirm with them that it will be ready in 10 to 15 minutes which is when we would arrive.

Then they didn't start the order until we arrived there and paid for the food. If that's their policy, they should have told us that and we would have gladly paid over the phone.“

“Burning X really surprised me. Lately I have been eating AYCE KBBQ too many times that the flavor and meat quality has been just okay and these spots claimed to be really top tier kbbq spots has been a let down. It's good but not OMG, I want to go back again vibes.

BUT!!! Burning X's LA Galbi, is absolutely delicious. I am soooo in LOVE. To the point we stopped eating the marinated boneless short rib, rib finger, wagyu beef belly, premium short ribs, pork jowls and just focused on LA Galbi with the 3 bones. We order 5 orders. It comes in a set of two. It really has a great balance of flavor not being too salty or sweet or bland and the tenderness, amazing . Honestly all the pieces were excellent!

Next time, I'm gonna ignore all the meats and just get the LA Galbi Short Rib ( with the bones)!!!

“Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Friendly staff, quick to go service, and delicious food! The spare ribs were my favorite with the meat falling easily off the bone. In my opinion, 1/2 rack is enough for 3 people. I didn't realize this and ordered 1.5 racks 😅 I loved the onion rings. However, not sure I'd pay $10 for them. If you love ribs, I definitely recommend this place!😋“

“Located in an industrial park. with tight angle parking in a single row. Small-ish restaurant, with indoor dining space plus a covered outdoor space extending off the front toward E. Miraloma Ave. Young lady at the order counter greeted us immediately & was very friendly. Interior spaces looked clean & tables were kept attended as the busy Saturday crowd turned over. My wife & I decided to share a Sandwich Sampler as our first visit meal. I'd read good reviews about their brisket, but I found it to be of average quality & maybe overcooked. The sausage was slightly better in flavor & juiciness, and the turkey was very good. Overall a satisfying meal experience, and I'd recommend Blake's Place if you were craving BBQ.“

My 9 and 11 year old were charged the adult price, but hey it's only $21 for menu A. They usually just eat brisket but they liked the beef belly and ribeye bulgogi this time around. “We were recently passing through Pasadena and boy, did Yelp come through for us when picking a place to eat! Craft by Smoke & Fire in Old Town Pasadena ended up being the perfect choice. It was a beautiful evening and we opted to sit outside. We were lucky enough to have Stephanie as our server…and also lucky to be there during happy hour – you gotta love a 2 for 1 drink special! It was hard to choose between all the craft cocktails, but we ended up ordering Lulu Lemons which were excellent! I play mixologist when entertaining at home, and when I expressed interest in recreating this drink for our friends, Stephanie was kind enough to share the recipe! The menu is full of yummy Texas-style BBQ options made from locally sourced meat, and it was hard to choose. We landed on brisket grilled cheese with a side of mac & cheese (can you have too much cheese?!) and a harvest brisket salad. Both were so delicious. The outside table area was pretty full and although she was covering a lot of tables, Stephanie was knowledgeable when guiding us through the menu, super attentive and personable to boot! “Delicious! We stopped in with a group of 7 on our way to the Great Wolf Lodge for dinner.

It was easy to order. Your biggest decision is one plate or all you can eat. The one plate is very generous so you've really got to be hungry to make all you can eat it pay out. There are a bunch of rules if you decide to do all you can eat posted on the wall.

Once you pay, you get a bowl to fill with the meats & veggies. If you have kids, you might encourage them to fill their bowls. You can either eat their leftovers or take them home with you.

The meats include meatballs, beef, pork & chicken. Too many vegetables to choose from. Three types of noodles. Vermicelli, egg & something else I can't remember. Two of us went egg and while the nameless noodles were good (the other 5 people got them) I think the egg is superior.

You pick some sauces and the chefs cook up your meal.

Hot & fresh!

There's a restroom and a fountain soda machine. You can also just get water.
