“Quaint small town restaurant. Food was great and served quickly. Went for the burger but got the prime rib Instead. The cut was great and medium rare was perfect. Served with a salad and baked Potatoe. No issues with the service as they were very attentive and were very accommodating to request's after food was served.“

“This place is small and amazing! The staff was so welcoming! My husband had a fried chicken sandwich with fries. I had the fried catfish, tried the black eyed peas, and shared the Mac and cheese!!! We were so impressed! The catfish is definitely southern. We enjoyed everything including the service. Food came quickly, cooked perfectly. The cornbread is so delicious!!!!! It was clean, we loved the wrapped silverware. We will definitely be back! Also you cannot beat the price!!!“

“I love this place. Good food, reasonable prices! It smells amazing as soon as you walk up and reminds me of all the little mom and pop bbq places I would go to growing up in NC. Honestly everyone was kind, good service, and quick! The potato bacon soup was phenomenal and the beans are really good! Lunch special is the best price I have seen in ages. 100% coming back“

“Rib Shack serves up some real quality BBQ in a quaint, homey location. I'm mid way through a SoCal BBQ kick and stopped here with some friends after the San Diego Spartan. Food was ordered at the counter and served in Styrofoam containers, which we ate in the patio seating area. The selection is great, from your standard meats (brisket, ribs, tri tip) to more off the beaten path choices like catfish. You can order most options as a sandwich or part of a combo platter. Of what we tried, the ribs were the clear winner (truly fall off the bone tender), but everything else was great as well. The Mac and Cheese side also deserves its own shout-out - the perfect level of creamy and cheesy! Everything is clearly smoked on-site - you can actually see the smoker from the outdoor seating area, which is a neat touch. I'd definitely recommend if you're in the area or passing through!“

“First time here and it was awesome! Went in as a family of 5 everyone everyone enjoyed it! We informed our server it was our first time and he was great! He directed us the whole way, even made suggestions. You can eat here as an adventurous eater or picky eater. Ask questions, try new! Enjoy! There are healthy options, comfort options. Everything is fast and efficient. They even change out your cooking top. Our server Huong was funny and fantastic! I absolutely love the center cooking idea, kept my whole family involved and engaged. Teenagers didn’t even think about their cell phones. We got to try all sorts of stuff and found new favorites. I would recommend this restaurant for families or for date nights. The layout and atmosphere allows for both without distraction. The music is fun and entertaining. We have a kiddo with intense food allergies who carries an epi pen on him and this is like a new favorite for him! Everything is separate and you combine on your own. For us this is AMAZING! We tend to go to the same safe places for him but now we have a new staple! 5/5 would be back and would recommend.“

“We stumbled upon the Swiss Grill at the Vista Farmer's Market and it was just amazing! I ordered a whole chicken, it looked so good just rolling in front of my eyes. The meat is very tender and juicy, the skin is of a crispy golden brown - yum! I am actually from Switzerland myself and let me tell you this food made me feel right at home. The potatoes were both soft and crispy with the perfect amount of seasoning. I also had a pleasant chat with the owner Daniel who lived a few miles from my hometown - so we ended up talking about stories from back home!“
