The charred octopus salad is an amazing appetizer, which complimented our seafood stew and roast duck entrees. The waitress was wonderful and helped us select delicious wines. “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Absolutely-Not-Normal Stars for The Hole in the Wall! Let me tell you… The Hole in the Wall didn’t just feed me. It spoke to my soul. I ordered three street tacos—chorizo, chicken, and steak—and that steak taco? Buddy… it tasted like someone grilled the most excellent steak known to mankind, whispered words of encouragement to it, motivated it to reach its full potential, then sliced it into bite-size greatness. The salsa inside? So good I considered taking it home and introducing it to my family. My son ordered the happy hour cheese quesadilla, which came out perfectly toasted—crispy golden edges, soft cheesy center. Basically a work of art Picasso wishes he painted. Then we shared the habanero wings, which came with a medley of tomatoes and sliced cucumbers so fancy it felt like they were auditioning for a cooking show. The dressing? Absolutely delicious. I briefly thought about drinking it like a tiny salad smoothie. I didn’t… but I thought about it. In conclusion: If you’re not eating at The Hole in the Wall, are you even living? 🌮🔥🍗“

“The cook and the drummer is an amazing, extremely professional, well organized and resourceful catering company. They catered a 100+ event, connected me with local vendors such as florist and musicians; they know how to adjust to budget constraints at the same time they have a vision to make your event as impactful and amazing as you want it to be. Also their staff is very well trained. I highly recommend working with them. Our family celebration ended up exceeding our expectations. And the food was delicious!“

“My friend and I shared a wine tasting which consisted of three small glasses of tasting size. You get to pick the three wines that you want. Not a huge selection., but works. We decided to eat there and I got the crabcakes which were pretty tasty a spicy sauce on top, and there were bell peppers and with the crabcakes. My friend got salmon with the skin was very crispy which he likes but the inside was too rare and he had to ask them to cook it more. It came back, still a bit too rare, and we fed that to the seagulls….The couscous salad that came with it was the best thing of all. I would not run back there but if you’re hungry and in that exact area, it’s a convenient place to grab a bite to eat. They have a couple of different patios outside, and the staff was very friendly. The one remark my friend said was that if they’re going to leave the salmon that raw like they said they usually do, they should ask people how they like it cooked. He loves sushi, but it was too rare for him being that it was salmon. It was a great day to get away from the high heat of Sonoma. We went from the 90s to the 60s wearing a jacket. He had never gone by the school house from Alford Hitchcock The Birds, so we did that on the way out.“

“Very much enjoyed my time at the casino bar and Grill. The bartenders were very kind and Fantabulous at their job. The tamale pie was awesome. Love that it was a place where locals go. I felt like I was back in time when the days were Grandioso.“

“Went for lunch. Was fairly crowded, we luckily got there at the perfect time for a table. They were short staffed that day. But the were hustling. The food was really, really good. But it was pretty expensive. Everything is locally sourced, but still.“

“We've eaten here several times. It's a favorite of ours when we're in the Bodega Bay area. My husband and I like to share a cup of their (in our opinion) delicious chowder along with each us having one of their huge and tasty breakfast burritos.

This last time we went, we actually didn't get a chance to eat because their power had just come on after having been out since 10pm the night before. They had noticeable signage out front and they politely let us know when we pulled in. Unfortunately, our young son had gotten car sick on the drive up, so we took a moment to clean him up before leaving. The man working their offered to let us in to use the restroom to clean him up, and while I was taking that offer up, he offered my husband some towels to clean up the car (we had some, but still appreciated the offer). We just wanted to let people know that the customer services here is awesome, even when they aren't able to take customers.“

“Nice place with great food and staff. An establishment with cool atmosphere and it's well run by friendly and hospitable folks. I highly recommend hanging out for the fresh seafood and cold craft brews on tap.“

“Came for a burger at the recommendation of the Marin Burger Club. Almost everything about the burger was superb, except the bun to patty ratio. With how large, dense, and flavorful the bun was, it slightly dominated the burger. The entire time I was eating it, I couldn't help but wish that the patty were 50% larger. Even so, the view, and the ride to get to the restaurant, made up for it. Looking forward to coming back, though next time I'll explore the rest of the menu.“

“We had a lovely experience here a few weeks ago... came here for our anniversary dinner and it felt very special. We sat at a small table righg next to the window, looking out at the water. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and we appreciated the recommendations she made. Everything we ordered was perfect. Delicious cocktails and salad, we ordered two sides - the crispy potatoes and sesame green beans which were both outstanding but I will be dreaming of those potatoes!! And entrees were the Pork Chop and the black rice bowl. The rice bowl was good but was a bit light and didn't quite match the rest of the items... but the Pork Chop was perfection and the savory bread pudding on the side was very unique and we loved it. We kind of shared a little of everything. We also got dessert, a chocolate cake, which was delicious. We left feeling very full but extremely satisfied. The food was very high quality and prepared perfectly and presented beautifully. You can tell that there is a lot of pride that goes into this operation. Also, I felt that for the quality of the food, the price point was extremely reasonable. We will definitely be back.“
