“My wife and I wanted to try a restaurant we've not experienced and was able to find Redwood with the help of Yelp. The restaurant had a cool laid back feel. My wife is vegetarian and they had some nice choices. We started with a dish of Fried Chickpeas. Then the Route 1 Sourdough Bread and Butter was tasty. The Fried Potatoes were really temperature hot served with a nice aioli. Route 1 Pita & and Babaganosh was our favorite dish. I enjoyed the Yellowtail Crudo. The service was attentive and friendly. We look forward to returning:)“
“You order from a kiosk or at the inside counter. We ordered from the kiosk outside. We ordered fish tacos, garlic butter oysters, clam chowder and kids grilled cheese with 3 drinks. Flavor was amazing and the ambiance was perfect. We opted to eat on the picnic tables right next to the beach/cove area during sunset. It was amazing! Bring a sweater cuz it was a bit chilly but awesome nonetheless. They don’t serve you, you pick up your food after being called. Overall great place.Parking: Plenty of free parking but it fills up fast.“
“We drive from Auburn to have clam chowder and a crab sandwich. It is always worth the time. It is consistently delicious.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: We are almost always able to park in their handicap parking in front.“
“Excellent food - we ordered the lobster roll and crab sandwich and both were delicious! I preferred this restaurant over the one next door. There is a great amount of seating inside and outside, quick service, and small parking lot but there was street parking behind the restaurant. And there was a restroom there which was perfect for those traveling“
“We ordered the olives, and caviar cones and the crabcakes. Perfect! All just beautiful. So much artistry and thought went into the smallest detail of the food. I was impressed with the quality. Sebastopol is lucky to have this kind of cuisine served for lunch and dinner. Our server was very professional as well.“
“We brought our dog and sat outside on the pier. We had great service amazing raw oysters chowder and homemade soft buttery bread, so good! It was quite a drive but the scenery along the way was pretty and we enjoyed the drive. They have an inn across the street, perhaps we'll stay next time.“
“Great little spot on the north side of Bodega Bay off of route 1. It has a little restaurant, a coffee shop, and a gift shop in three separate small buildings. We ordered the fish & chips and the fish tacos. Both were pretty good. The homemade tartar sauce had a unique flavor and really went well with the fish. The parking is right off route 1, which I would imagine is crazy packed during high season. Great place to stop with a nice outdoor patio! Decent wine selection by the glass.“
“The best casual seafood restaurant ever!!! They have the most crisp and tender fish and chips you’ll ever eat. Hands down the very best and we’ve had great fish and chips in the UK. All locally sourced and sustainable ingredients, the very best that Sonoma County offers. Oh and their soft serve ice cream is <chef’s kiss> the best!“
“Cozy little seafood restaurant in The Barlow. Comfortable space. Casual, friendly service. Only two types of oysters available when we visited but they were both delicious. Oddly, the spoon provided for the mignonette sauce was extremely large, like a large serving spoon, which was cute (?) but not helpful when trying to ladle the sauce out of its small shallow dish. We also ordered carpaccio and octopus. Everything was delicious. Wine list focused on oyster friendly wines, which I appreciated, including a strong selection of Champagne.“
“Our group had chowder, crab sandwich, fish and chips and fish tacos. The chowder Wes good, not great. Crab sandwich was really good, as was the fish and chips. Feedback on the fish tacos was that they were good but needed more fish.Parking: Parking is available down the street in the marina lot. It’s a little bit of a walk.“
“My favorite spot in the area - exceptional food! The crab sandwich is a must, as is the chowder. This is my #1 of 5 chowders I have tried in the area. The crab is prepared with light mayonnaise and lemon juice so the crab is the highlight. The toasted bread with the melted havarti make this sandwich a standout! Very friendly staff and nice rustic location on the water. The crab traps in the parking lot next door give a fishing village vibe. I look forward to returning.Visited after a high 50s morning at Doran Beach - AWESOME DAY!“
“The food here was hot and delicious. The upper seating area was cozy, and the bar was chic and casual. Our server, who was new and had moved from Alabama to California in 2020, was gracious and wonderful. Many thanks to him, and to the kitchen.“
“Exceptional chowder - clams, cod, leeks and bacon - delicious. Visited for an early dinner after an afternoon at Dillon Beach with my dogs. The views from the restaurant are gorgeous; Highly recommend making this part of a North Marin/Sonoma Coast trip!“
“The restaurant setting, decor, and staff are great. The staff is very friendly and efficient. They seem to appear just when you need something, like more chips or salsa. It's great. I just wish there were more options for salads or soups. ?Dietary restrictions: The food is fresh and delicious, however there aren't too many options for a vegetarian or vegan. The Portobello fajitas are vegan and amazing. There are a few salads, but you will need to ask to have some items taken off. They are very happy to accommodate requests.“
“We celebrated our 48th wedding anniversary at Drakes ! The food, the service and all of the staff were excellent. They were very personable and made sure every aspect of our meal was perfect.Thank you Drakes for making our 48th anniversary wonderful!“
“We had the pork chop and pasta with mussels. The pork chop was huge but unfortunately a little dried out. The pasta was good but the mussels were small. We sat outside by the fire pits and it was absolutely beautiful. Our waitress was very friendly and the bus boy never let our water glasses get empty.“
“A warm, cozy beacon of light, warmth, and most importantly delicious food and drink in the tiny town of Valley Ford. Walk past the locals with their tales of lore, imbibing cider from apples that fell not a hundred yards away, and arrive at a the bustling dining room where friendly service delivers piping hot plates of Southern comfort flavors. Why this place doesn’t have a Michelin Bib Gourmand distinction is a mystery. Try one of everything, and definitely inhale a plate or two of the most scrumptious beignets outside of New Orleans.“
