Absolutely worth the wait but definitely recommend getting a reservation if you can.

We ended up sitting outside which excluded us from getting any alcoholic beverages which was fine because we got drunk on pizza!

We split a Caesar salad, pickled vegetable appetizer, and ordered two pizzas for three people. It was more than enough food and we polished off the meal by splitting a tiramisu. It was define!

The dough really was the star of the show here with a soft chewy texture at the center, but a crispy crust.

I definitely wanna come back and sit at the bar as I’m sure it’s fun to watch them make the pies as you’re enjoying them.“

Stopped by around 8pm the other night and I believe Jeremy was helping me, nice guy and offered good recommendations. I went with the Mortadella focaccia and it was outstanding!

It's served slightly warmed as the focaccia is toasted which offers a nice contrast in temperature and texture from the filing. The bread is out of this world. I know the flavor but it just can't come to me as I write this review, but there is so much flavor packed into the bread, I could buy loaves of that alone. It's crusty on the outside and pillowy on the inside.

The mortadella is piled high with good pieces of pistachio and a slight saltiness. The burrata is creamy and smooth while the pistachio cream offers a nice nuttiness and more rustic flavor to blend everything together. Such simplicity truly makes the best sandwiches.“

“My absolute new favorite restaurant! We were visiting family in LA from Chicago and they took us here, I ended up going three times in my one week visit. Cheese stuffed zaatar and the sojouk kachopuri were my favorite and the garlic chicken wrap was my husbands. “I though the owner was a actually really cool guy, and the inside with outside tables were just as good as the decorations to the building; it was a clean and well managed place. Also, the pizza does have the option to be sold by the slice, and the prices are far better than some sewer sidwalk shop in downtown LA chargning you 9$ by the slice or something. “My husband and I just recently discovered this Gem about little over a month ago . We’ve already been here twice and Oh my goodness this place is amazing!!!!!!! First and foremost, the customer service is top tier!!!! Mike is absolutely amazing , he’s very attentive and has such a beautiful soul . ☺️ as for the food , it is absolutely delicious!!!!!!!! The pizza is soooo good the first time we went I had the Margherita pizza thin crust, the second time I went I had a classic pepperoni thin crust , both times were delicious. “NYC cheese slices are my jam, and we have an embarrassment of riches in Sherman Oaks. Within a mile of each other, there are three, count 'em three, authentic NY slice shops. My son and I visited all three of them on a self-guided cheese slice tour of Sherman Oaks. Pizza Wagon was stop three on the tour!

The atmosphere is good...NY decor on the walls in what feels like a truly neighborhood / not-chain space. The service was great too...the staff worked quickly and were abundantly friendly and helpful.

They do a good job with authentic style slices...the right amount of crisp on the crust and a good ratio of sauce versus cheese. The chew was good, though both the crust and sauce don't quite have the superior flavor profile of the nearby places.

It's definitely a good alternative to those, though, and miles ahead of the major chain pizzas in terms of NY style.“

“The price is a little high for a 1 topping large, but when the quality of the cheese, toppings, and sauce are this good, it's worth it.

Especially the pepperoni, I dont know where they got it from, but I wish I had ordered the whole thing pepperoni.

The place is tucked away between a boxing center and Del Taco.

It has a green fake grass outside for people with dogs, and apparently, they donate money to shelters from their profits.

So is buying a pizza since part is donated to charity considered a tax deduction???? Kidding.

Instructions for reheating worked perfectly..although I can’t say my sauce “racing stripe” was as pretty as the Chefs 🤣🤣.
