“Some of the best BBQ I've had in LA. They used to have a "barbacoa plate" which was amazing but I don't see it on the menu anymore.

I recommend the "Clutch sample platter" for 2-3 people. Everything is super good. Highlights are the wings, ribs, and collard greens with bacon. Very good sweet BBQ sauces.

Only complaint is it took 20 min for the food to come out and it wasn't even busy.“

“Really good, healthy food. When we went there, she made the sesame bread while we waited. And it was delicious. My beautiful wife and I have been going here for more than 20 years. And I've never had a bad meal here.“

Only problem is there's no public bathroom so when you get nasty eating your birria tacos you can't wash it all off. They have sanitized napkins.

These two locations no longer exist.
I believe that I have only been to this Inglewood location only once since it's been here.
I decided to give them a try. Boi,Oh Boi -
I was overjoyed about my food and friendly service.
My food was over the top with the freshness, tenderness,taste and the portion size of the meat.
I told my family that if my Rib was a paint brush and flinged it, It would have broken off!!

You can tell it is japanese owned and operated and they prioritize maintaining an authentic experience, with japanese front of the house and a cast of what seems like all-japanese waitstaff. very thoughtful sauces/garnishes intended to complement the premium ingredients used in every skewer.
