“...so we ended up here after dinner and honestly needed something sweet to close out the night... the milk tea I got was smooth and creamy and the tapioca pearls had this perfect bounce to them... not mushy at all which is always a relief... the girl at the counter was really patient when I couldn't decide between flavors and just gave me a genuine suggestion instead of rushing me... the space itself felt calm... a few other people sitting around but not loud or cramped... just nice lighting and tables that felt clean... honestly the whole vibe made me want to linger longer than I expected... ended up sipping slowly and not wanting it to be over... flavor was balanced too... not that artificial sweetness you get at some spots... just tasted like real tea with the right amount of milk!!“

“I ordered the 22 TW Champion Milk Tea with brown sugar boba, and I absolutely loved it!
Using red oolong instead of the usual black tea gives the drink a unique depth of flavor that’s smooth, fragrant, and not overly sweet. The brown sugar boba had the perfect chewy texture and paired beautifully with the tea.
Overall, it’s a fantastic drink in a great location, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu.“

A large in any boba Utah shop is Tea Station’s regular size, and mostly made of ice and sugar. You can’t taste any tea. I highly recommend visiting this location if you want to actually taste tea in your boba.“

“We’ve been here twice now, once during their soft opening and again this past weekend. We stumbled upon it by accident while in Sawtelle, and it’s apparently a very popular chain.

Most drink spots usually have just a couple of standout items that end up being overly sugary or one-note, but I’ve been genuinely impressed with Jam Jam. We ordered 4 different drinks, and every single one tasted distinct, balanced, and fantastic in its own way. They don’t just look great for photos; the flavors are genuinely amazing.

The space itself is clean, modern, and comfortable to hang out in. Unlike a lot of drink spots in Sawtelle, it doesn’t get overwhelmingly loud, making it actually enjoyable to sit down and relax. Ordering through the self-checkout kiosks keeps things efficient, letting the staff fully focus on making drinks quickly.

Easily my current favorite drink spot in the area for both the variety and the overall vibe.“

“I enjoy getting drinks from Figure 8 Tea Project. They are Good but their Prices are a Little Expensive. But they have a Point Card if you fill out 9 you will get a Free Drink. There Services is Good. They ask you if you want your Sweetness Level and if they want you to add Boba or Other Topping for your drink. So I recommend if you want a Good & Refreshing Drink. But I only go there for once a Month.“

“On the scale of Boba, Black Sugar lives in the fresh ingredients and healthier side without being fussy and still feeling like classic boba tea. Both the boba itself and their tea and flavors are high quality and the inclusion of coconut milk as an option makes for some wonderfully rich drinks. Cheesecake was a little dry and the picture made it seem like there was a lot of chocolate on the bottom layer but there wasn't for mine. Either way, I would eat it again and come back!“

I have to say. if you’re looking for a real Brazilian superfood açaí experience, you’re going to love this place. It’s one of the best açaí bowls I’ve had outside of Brazil. I don’t know the name of the guy and sorry about that I didn’t ask it, but I think you’ll know who we are. The girl in a purple dress and the guy with green sueter. We asked for ramen and poke bowl and they comes with very very delicious appetizers and boba drinks !! Like what ??? Really really amazing!! “Always so clean and available. I love how they roast their own coffee beans and have a variety to choose from. Telhe owners are passionate about their roasting and product which is truly admirable. There are plenty of nearby coffee shops but they dont focus on the artistry of bean roasting and brewing which this place does. They have affordable coffee beans too!! And the beans make a great crema when I pull shots of espresso at home. So rewarding“

“Straw & Spoon on Artesia is a great spot to meet up with friends for boba or açaí in Redondo Beach. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, with two swing chairs inside and Edison bulb string lights & blue sails over the tables outside. It was very clean, and the staff were super friendly. You can either order from a screen or directly with the cashier, which I recommend if it’s your first time or if you have questions. They have a restroom for customers, and there is also free parking in the connected lot, and I appreciate that convenience.

I asked if they have any drinks without syrups/sugar, and they recommended their iced tea. I went with the Four Season Iced Green Tea with no sugar & regular ice, and since it is a boba spot I added the Lychee Coconut Jellies. The jellies went perfectly with the iced green tea, and it was a balanced and refreshing beverage, with hints of rose and a delightful lychee flavor and even a similar lychee texture. I also enjoyed the quality of their plastic cups and selection of large colorful straws - you get to select your favorite color.

They let us eat our sushi from Yanagi Kitchen in the plaza along with our boba drinks, and it was a perfect combo. I will definitely be back!“

Coming from someone who knows the boba scene in the LA/Westwood area, this place doesn’t necessarily warrant the 20-30 minute wait for it. “This place’s menu is so diverse; there’s literally something for everyone. I wish I lived close so I could try out all their drinks. I ordered the strawberry milk with brown sugar boba because it said it was new and I’ve never had banana milk before so why not try a strawberry version of it while on vacation?

The boba was perfectly chewy and cooked just right. The milk itself was creamy and flavorful. The size was a little small for the price, but it was ready rather quickly, so that was nice. I liked how you could order at a kiosk.“

“We had time to kill so we stopped here for a couple of boba tea drinks. It wasn’t crowded so we got our drinks and found a table. Many customers ordered “to-go” drinks so we didn’t feel pressured to vacate our seats. There are street parking (metered) nearby. I would definitely return to this tea joint next time I am in the area.“
