“One of my favorite sushi spots in the area - I always come for happy hour where the deals are amazing, and the service has always been incredibly attentive, friendly, and quick. Google says it's cash-only but it's not! I know their management changed recently so hopefully maybe the problematic employees other people have been pointing out have been changed. I've always had a pleasant and lovely experience here in the past few months and it's definitely a go-to spot!“

“Hands down BEST sushi in Ventura! We come here at least once a week. Highly recommend parking along the street, catching sunset on the beach, then coming here for dinner. Although everything I’ve ordered here has been excellent, my very favorites are the Avocado Bomb (the best I’ve ever had) and the Sushi House Roll. The staff are always very welcoming, friendly, and attentive.“

“Just tried this sushi spot near the beach. It’s great! The food is high quality, the service is great, it comes out relatively fast. I can’t help but think that their prices are a little too high, particularly bc of the location which is a parking lot basically you expect it to be cheap and it’s not. While price will prevent me from coming back too often, I do hope to return here soon. Recommend trying this spot if you haven’t and you’re in the area. I personally recommend their Katsu and the yellowtail basic roll. They also do a good hot scallop roll thing.“

“In my top 3 sushi places in ventura (Seaward sushi, Banzai Marina, and now Koba sushi). This restaurant is a smaller place that is cozy and inviting. It's a more traditional sushi restaurant that serves the freshest sushi! The staff was very nice and friendly. The place was spotless and pleasant to be in. And the food was delicious! It is pricey bit worth it. Would highly recommend to anyone that wants quality sushi (and sake)!“

“I got the lunch bento with katsu and spicy tuna roll. Everything had a delicious flavor, the rice was perfect, and the salad was fresh. My wife is vegetarian and the chef made her an awesome tofu hot stone bowl. The chef was really talented, helpful, and fast. We’ll definitely be returning.“
