“The wine is great.
No, not "the wine is great" but truly, actually, seriously: Excellent. There's so much wine out there, but I'll always stock some. The syrah/mourvedre walks a line between new world up front and old world finish.
Troy is also a reason to stop. Funniest deadpan humor I've encountered in forever. Great experience, great place.“
“Excellent Zinfandel as expected, including a caramelized, with notes of dried berries, late harvest that resembles Port. This time, they also had a clean, floral, beautiful (one fermentation only, in new French casks if I'm not mistaken) Chardonnay from 2018. Remarkable. Tasting was guided by Marie-Lou, a wonderful person. They have a cute patio in the shade facing the vines, perfect to sip a glass.“
“This was one were I expected to give out a 5 score based on other reviews and the fact that it appeared to stay open a bit later to relax and enjoy a glass. However, wine tasting flights are only available indoors and you have to buy a glass or bottle to enjoy their lovely patio grounds. The wine was quite good and the staff reasonably well informed though. I have to give a shout out to Kelly who spotted us dining at Pietro's the next night and came up to say hi and ask us how our visit was going.“
“Best wine quality for the price/case anywhere. Excellent, attentive, and knowledgeable wine steward. A large section of varietals and blends that are all grown and produced on the estate. Something for everyone's palate and level of wine knowledge.“

“Stopped by on a week day. Was a bit quiet. They have a cozy front bar section and a nice wine tasting area in back with tables/chairs for a pleasant setting. A friendly server got us going. I tasted 2022 Alicante Bouschet =nice front palate, 2018 Charbono =a bit spicy & tart finish, 2018 Petite Syrah =lovely nose, light finish & Tre-Liscious=dry and not my favorite. Server was attentive. Winerys website doesn't have a way to allow purchasing Online and doesn't provide shipping options.“

“I always have a great time at Nostra Vita. The staff is friendly and incredibly helpful, the wine is delicious (Nostra Vita also had sparkling wine slushies and a mimosa flight during yesterday's event as well), and the music for jazz Sunday yesterday was incredible! We also enjoyed the food from a local food truck which we enjoyed. I made reservations for a party of 13 and all of us had a great time. Everyone wants to come back very soon.“

“I was very excited to come here owing to an upcoming trip to Portugal. The tasting room is nice and the shaded patio is even better. They serve an interesting selection of lesser known varietals in a very cool flight of mini-carafes. The wine quality is quite good, but difficult to compare to the more well know varietals of the area. It's a good spot for when you get tired of Zinfandel.“

“We’ve been members here for over 15 years. This place is great because you get wines from all over the Lodi Appalachian and you’re not stuck to just one winery a very good value as far as “memberships“ go highly recommend and the staff is always courteous and knowledgeable.“

Understood and appreciated the reason for reservations only, as I did feel it gave a better experience. Wife could get her 5, I could get my 5, we could share a bit and compare. “It's already hard enough to thrive with only white wine in a market so red-obsessed. But Susan likes a challenge, and not only does she focus on white, she also introduced rarities to California like Bourboulenc and Clairette Blanche. Avoiding oak casks, she can craft clear, lean, complex but approachable, beautiful white wines without the dreadful and so common "Chardonnay aftertaste". Their Ingénue is a genuine success, with a perfect name for a wine that will soon become a celebrity. Note: the staff is so knowledgeable it's refreshing - Kathie was just incredible.“

“The best tasting room in Galt. A wide range of wine from a rose to whites and of course red. I did enjoy the Zinfandel as it went down smoothly. The flights allowed to get a taste of them. I hear the have live room on a friday most of the time so going to have to make plans to join the fun on a Friday. Cheers 🥂“

I did not know that till I met John and Lisa at Prie this weekend.They grow/source a number of European grape varietals like Dornfelder (Germany), Teroldego (Italy), Alicante Bouschet (Spain) besides the staples of Lodi area like Syrah, Barbera, Zin. What makes the wines very special is the philosophy of wine making - minimalist. The wines are not bold or jammy. They are subtle, balanced and complex.John and Lisa are also wonderful and kind human beings who care a lot about the world. I got to know them in a leisurely chat on a warm afternoon. The tasting area is a a calm soothing place, just to have such conversations with friends and family while sipping some vino.Highly recommend if you love old world style wines.“

“Tim was the best host. He welcomed us with the biggest smile and was interested in where we were from. Adam was very nice and took time to chat with us. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff was knowledgeable/warm. The whole experience felt like we were just chilling in our living room and not drinking wine in a tasting room. Housley Winery is a must visit whenever you are in Napa. My friends from Trinidad and Tobago and I from Greenbrae, highly recommend It.“

“And now for something completely different... While they have a nice patio and tasting room and an interesting selection of wines, what really sets Peltier apart is their use of the Vinomatic dispensers. There are 6 stations with 4 wines each and the "taste" size pour is $3-$5 depending on the selection. Their tasting sheet has enough information to get you started and it's a very fun experience. Unlike other wineries, they do not comp your tasting if you buy bottles though. Be sure to try their Zante red sparkler and their USB port!“

“Besides Napa Valley, d’Art wine possesses a certain red referred to as dog day, and it is the most delicious red wine, parallel to wine that I have had from France, that I have ever had. d’Art’s dog day is wonderful, especially chilled. The grounds are peaceful and beautiful and Helen, the owner, is a wonderful personality.“
“We had a wonderful time at Pondl on Mother's Day. We had a chance to spend some quality time with the owner, David, who had some wonderful stories and kept us laughing. Pondl had some unique varietals as well as the more normal findings. The tastings are generous, 8...4 white & 4 red, and revisits of any offered. Their prices are reasonable. We will definitely be revisiting this new find. Love the little boutique wineries!“
